Keeping stone floors clean can be difficult, especially if they are polished. Over the years the sealer designed to protect the stone will wear down allowing dirt and stains to become ingrained in the pores of the stone. The floor then becomes difficult to keep clean resulting in a dull and uninviting appearance.
