What do you love most about your job?

I am a current English Teacher, Lit in Colour Pioneer, Form Tutor, and Head of House with an array of work experience in a variety of fast paced and dynamic environments across the school. As a confident practitioner I am looking to take the next step in my career and lead a department. My current professional and academic experience has given me a great foundation and a firm footing to climb to the next stage, something I have always been focused on since graduating from the University of York. In the most recent data run 60% of students had been predicted over a grade 7 and in the most recent results day, students achieved this without a single failure. At the heart of any passionate teacher is an English curriculum that focuses on the appreciation of the literature and writer craft but matches the learners needs accordingly with high quality learning resources ultimate immersion in the text is paramount.

Why should our clients choose you?

My classroom pedagogy, experience, and knowledge to align a curriculum not only cultivates a student’s self-purpose but gives them a confident start in life after education, enabling them to become lifelong learners.
