This was my first experience with a personal trainer and it has been amazing. Ashley is probably one of the kindest people you can meet. She's a cheerleader, a mentor, and a taskmaster. If you don't believe you can do it, she'll believe enough for both of you. Between her and Tyson, and Heidi, I am in the best health of my life. I can lift things and do things I've never imagined doing before. It's an amazing experience and one everyone should get a chance to have. More...

Best personal trainer I've had. She has a ton of experience that I do think you can match anywhere else or at the Big Box gyms.

Great people, very inspiring and willing to get you to your goals! Choose Zen Fitness when you want that personal touch, instead of just being a "membership number" like some other gyms! Ashley is amazing!

I have had a few trainers in my years, for the most Parr they had me do cardio with little to no strength training, boring and little to no results or they didnt last. Enter Miss Ashley, she listen to my health challenges ( I won't bore you with) put a plan together that works with my crazy work schedule, she changes up the routine, challenges you to step out of comfort zone, teaches you things you can take anywhere ( you don't have to only do at a gym) its enjoyable as a workout can be, you sweat your bund off, have fun & gain a friend. She is truly passionate about helping free people from the unhealthy lifestyle we have all unfortunately come accustom too. More...

Q&As

"Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food" - Hypocrites

Our guts are our second brain which means that it ultimately is responsible for much of the brain fog, sense of inflammation (achy joints and muscles) and pain that we feel as we creep along adulthood. A healthy relationship with food is extremely important for overall health and wellness and it begins with knowledge about the source of which our consumed goods come from.

First, we must have a goal. Sometimes it is something as simple is, "I just want to be healthy". Over time, we break that down and create a "goal" system where we are in constant cycle of achieving those goals and developing and working towards the next one(s) and the next one(s). Along the way, we have multiple "check-in"points where we can adjust accordingly.

"Workout because you love your body, not because you hate it".
This quote says so much because in the world we live in with social media and a "sex sells" attitude, many [women and men] have developed a complex surrounding what "FIT" and "healthy" actually look and feel like.

The only [secret] is BE CONSISTENT and INTENTIONAL.

I love that I don't consider it "a job". We get to do what most people would rather do everyday. We get to LEAD others through their personal fitness and wellness journey's by inspiration, motivation, self-awareness and discipline, high and positive energy and a sea of knowledge, experience and expertise.

I love this question! When I (Ashley) was 5 years old, I knew what I wanted to do and that was open a gym someday. As I got older, although I never changed my mind, my WHY changed. I knew my approach to fitness and all that goes with it would be unique to the community. Being able to provide a FUN atmosphere was just a side benefit to what was in store for our client's once we were able to get our system(s) in place with opening a brick and mortar.
