Zeleka organised 4 separate consecutive events for me over a weekend. It required a lot of planning especially as many of the guests came from overseas. Zeleka demonstrated very quickly all the skills necessary one might expect from an experienced event planner. She was exceptionally good at (i) planning the venues and anticipating the unexpected; (ii) driving the process in a very organised and polite manner; and (iii) showing a keen eye for detail. Many of my guests congratulated her personally during the weekend on what she had arranged for me. And, last but not least, Zeleka has a charm and calmness about her that impresses. My husband and I decided we would do venue hire and bring in all our own suppliers- how hard can it be we thought!!! Before meeting Zeleka we hadn’t even contemplated a wedding coordinator for our day, however after what I thought was going to be a ten minute conversation that turned into an hour it was clear we needed Zeleka. From the first moment speaking to her, Zeleka, was friendly, helpful and informative at no point did I feel she was being pushy and making me feel like we had to book her.Her knowledge is amazing and her passion is second to none. After my initial phone call with Zeleka I had to convince my husband it was a good idea, at first he was skeptical but I arranged for Zeleka to come to our house and by the time she left he was in agreement we needed her.From the moment of booking Zeleka it was like having a close friend to lean on and made the whole wedding process so much less stressful. Her contacts are wonderful and I used all her recommendations, the suppliers couldn’t speak highly enough of her which I found an encouraging sign.Zeleka took over all the paperwork and insurance side of things - which when you do venue hire there is a lot of this. From the outset, Zeleka was professional with a warm, friendly approach. I was looking for event decor for my 40th Birthday in my home garden.
Throughout our interactions, Zeleka was prompt in providing a concept, design brief and costs.
Following further discussions and refinement, Zeleka expanded her original event brief and it was lovely to meet her in person on her site visit. In the end, I decided to go away with Zeleka's ideas and do them myself due to budget constraints. She didn't mind this at all and had given us that option early on in our discussions.
It was a shame we couldn't work on the project through together, but I'm grateful for Zeleka's time and interest. It was a pleasure dealing with her and I wish her all the best in her event planning.
