I've visited Andrée a few times now for one of her amazing massages. Andrée is the first to say she does a "firm" massage, rather than one just for relaxing, and what she does is brilliant. I sit at a computer all day, and have very bad posture, this results in neck strain, shoulder pain and headaches. With regular visits, this has started to ease. Andrée really finds those knotted muscles, and works to release them. She explains the whole process as she does it, and always checks you're comfortable with the pressure. Andree is a true expert when it comes to hair removal and it's been a life-changing experience for me. I used to avoid wearing skirts and going swimming because the hair on my legs was so coarse and dark that waxing and shaving was a real chore and didn't make enough difference to the appearance of my legs. Since having hair removal on my legs and bikini line with Andree, the hair has almost completely disappeared (I am 8 sessions in) and the hair that does grow back is light and fine. I highly recommend Andrée’s hair reduction treatment. Everything was well explained to me and my expectations have always been managed. Laser hair removal has to be seen as an investment, you can’t expect instant results but good results definitely come in time! It was made very clear to me after my initial 6 sessions this wouldn’t be enough to put a stop to my hair growth , however I was seeing really good results at this point! I’ve now had 9 sessions and couldn’t be more pleased with how things are looking. I have been visiting Andree for quite some time now and I cannot recommend her highly enough. I was really shy and embarrassed about my hair situation but that’s all gone now. Never before would I have left the house without any make up or shaving. She really knows her craft and puts her clients first. IPL is not a quick fix, it takes time but the results are worth it. I first saw real noticeable results after about 10 treatments. I have gone from sometimes twice daily shaving to once every 3 or 4 days ..... and I could probably go longer. Andree also offers massages and I have taken her up on this too. She is one of a few who will do a massage firm enough for my liking but she always makes sure I am comfortable and adapts the pressure accordingly. I am writing to thank you for introducing me your wonderful Tropic products! I simply love them. Last summer, I began by buying the Tropic self tan and graduation tan for myself. It is by far the best self tanning products I have ever used – really easy to apply, no streaks and smells great – so great that a friend wanted the same products! Since then I have bought several other lotions and potions from Andrée, and I always think of Tropic when I want to buy a special treat for a friend. Andrée was kind enough to lend me a sample pot to test first of the tamaru healing balm. I bought two pots for friends who suffer from really dry skin and psoriasis, which has helped them no end. I have also bought the shaving cream and moisturiser for my boyfriend who has sensitive skin. He loves to use it as it is the first product which is gentle enough on his skin. And the best aspect of Tropic is that it is all vegan certified – for me, knowing that none of the ingredients have been tested on animals is a big selling point. I am much more aware of this issue and I am loathed to buy anything which is not “not tested on animals”. Thanks again Andrée for bringing Tropic into my life! I simply love it! My wife had been seeing Andrée at Zap for some time for massages and beauty treatments when she strongly recommended I go along for a massage to see if it might help in managing my bad back. I found that Andrée's astonishing skill as a masseuse were very effective indeed and a regular visiit is now something that I very much take for granted.

I have been guilty in the past of perceiving massage as a luxury activity procured to pamper oneself, but I have found these massage treatments not just an extremely relaxing way to spend half an hour but a therapeutic activity with significant and lasting benefits: placing me lighter upon my feet in the days to come and making exhausting work activities less draining and far easier to execute.

It is a great relief to know that when I am suffering – perhaps from straining myself from over-activity or from too much time spent in a single pose - fatigued muscles can be rejuvenated good as new under Andrée's hands, arms and elbows! More...
