I was lucky enough to have Iwona referred to me by a friend last year. I had a dining room that had become a dumping ground and we had never worked with a designer. I finally decided we needed professional help, but wanted the final look to reflect our tastes. I am so happy I called her! She is very warm and down to earth, yet incredibly professional and knowledgeable of color and design and what truly works in a space. She really listens to what your preferences are and then is able to take that information and combine it with her own design ideas to arrive at a perfectly designed room that reflects your tastes, but magazine-worthy! I met this wonderful couple today and I can't wait to see what my home transformation will look like. I was very comfortable with them and I felt like they really listened to what I had to say. They were honest with me about what choices I had in mind -- and whether or not they might work or would not work. They did not in any way try to sway me into buying their favorite products or services. I was not offended if they had to tell me gently that what I had picked out would not be the best choices for my space. They helped me to cancel some orders that would ultimately not have worked on my main level. I hope to have them helping me for a loooong time. I met Iwona through a friend who has used her talents on many occasions. I recently moved and was having trouble deciding what to do with my mantel/fireplace area. Iwona was incredible. She not only looked at the fireplace but the whole area and gave me some great ideas that were simple and easy and have transformed not only the fireplace but the whole room. I never would have thought to pain the mantel and was a tad skeptical but as i have learned, you should just listen to Iwona and do what she says because she has an incredible eye. I couldn't be more happy with the space and am now thinking of where to use her expertise next. Thank you! More...

When my daughter graduated from college and was returning home, we both felt it was the perfect time to completely overhaul her bedroom. With just one “inspirational” photo and an initial meeting, yZign was off and running. What I truly appreciated most is that Alex and Iwona listened and asked questions to really understand our ideas and our budget. The portal for communication was very efficient and easy to use for centralizing and sharing messages, ideas, pricing and images. With some trim detail, new paint, rug and furniture, the transformation was astounding. The room not only feels larger, but the end result is a beautiful, sophisticated retreat for our new graduate! I worked with Iwona and Alex of Yzign when they helped The Tree House CAC of Montgomery County Maryland design its new waiting room and new therapy rooms. Aside from their beautiful designs, I was most impressed with how graciously they worked with several representatives from different county agencies who all had different visions of what they wanted in a shared waiting room space. Even designers sometimes want help with their design decisions. Iwona was so wonderful to work with. She took direction from my existing space and pulled elements out of my inspiration images that hadn’t occurred to me. The program she uses that combined paint color, furnishings and accessories made it really easy to see what she recommended and swap out options in real time. She has an excellent eye and I can’t recommend enough how much help it is to have someone narrow down the choices for you! yZign focused in on exactly our area of concern - the exterior of our home - which saved us money and made an immediate impact on our project. Iwona listened carefully to the needs of my family. I have pets and messy children :-). She was able to incorporate very durable beautiful fabrics into the design. My house is now not only beautiful, but functional as well. She was also able to utilize areas in our home that previously had no function. In addition, she was also able to incorporate pieces of furniture I previously owned into the new design. They blended seamlessly with the new pieces. I am so happy with how my house looks now, in the beginning before I hired Iwona I hated my house and frankly wanted to move. Now, I can't stop smiling.
