Jessica shot our wedding recently. She is an extremely talented and skilled photographer. All the photographs came out excellent and she perfectly captured the day.

As you can imagine, there are a million things to worry about on your wedding day but as far as photography goes, we didn't need to. We spoke prior to the wedding about what we liked and expected. She arrived and without any instruction began capturing the setting, the set up, the guests; everything you could want or need. It was all very professional and she nailed it.

Honestly, 5 out of 5 stars. I would hire her again and would definitely recommend her if you are looking for a wedding photographer. Her work speaks for itself.

Jessica was amazing to work with and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for professional photos and a photographer who knows how to pull out the best in everyone she photographs. We had family photos done on what turned out to be the coldest day of the season, 45 degrees and not to mention windy. Jessica turned what could have been a disaster into something beautiful and treasurable. She was able to capture the cutest pictures of our 3 year old and our 2 month old despite the crying, runny noses and overall stiffness due to the cold weather. I honestly went away from the session thinking there was no way she could of captured anything salvageable based on the kids behavior, but boy was I surprised just a few days later when she posted a teaser shot. Hiring Jessica Le Fleur was one of the best decisions we made when it came to planning our wedding, and here's why:

The quality of the pictures:
Her pictures captured the essence of our wedding. Looking at her photos, I could feel the sentiment of every single one. I'm not just saying this because I remember the sentiments and excitement from our wedding. When we were looking at a reference's wedding pictures, her pictures were so awesome that my husband and I wished we had gotten invited to her wedding! Her wedding looked like it was bursting of love and fun, and I wanted our pictures to be like that too...and they are! She really captured the energy of our day in her pictures. Her pictures are gorgeous too. She knows how to use lighting well, both indoor and outdoor. The pictures also looked very organic - no crazy amount of retouching or asking people to do uncomfortable poses.

Her professionalism:
Jess was very easy to work with and incredibly responsive. She really knows what she's doing too; this isn't her first rodeo. In our emails, she asked questions about details that I hadn't thought of, but were really important in making sure photos went really smoothly. She's also a graceful photographer. She managed to move around without disturbing a social interaction. Our guests mentioned that several times that was great and she never seemed intrusive.

A great value:
When we first were looking at wedding photographers and started getting quotes, I got really worried that we were going to have to increase our photography budget by 250% or just rely on people's phone cameras. However, some of our friends had just hired her to photograph their wedding (and they also wrote a stellar review), and after looking at her work from other people's weddings, I knew we had to hire her. We got the photos we wanted without having to break our budget.

Extra bonus!
She's also knows how to do hair! As I was getting ready, I needed a little bit of help to give my hair some extra oomph - I had practiced before and my ladies were helping me, but Jess actually knows how to do hair, and not just follow a couple of blog posts on how to do a wedding side-do. When we asked what she thought, she gracefully stepped in and really helped secure my hair and made it look even better!

Jessica did an amazing job for our maternity shoot. She was easy to work with, flexible with her schedule, and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Hiring Jessica to take our wedding photos was the best decision we made! We did not have the chance to do an engagement shoot with her unfortunately, but honestly for us that didn't matter much. She showed up on the wedding day and absolutely did an incredible job. Leading up to the big day, we went through a list of all those in our wedding party and families to ensure everyone was included in the portraits. She was ALWAYS available to chat and answered messages quickly. I made a pinterest board of my favorite types of wedding photos--we had several phone calls and numerous emails to make sure everything went smoothly on the day-of. And it absolutely did!

Jessica took photos of everything we wanted and made it all happen. Our photos are beyond beautiful and they are so natural. Nothing looks staged or "pose-y" (we did family portraits but for everything else I prefer candids), but just beautiful, natural, and truly captured us as a couple. I could not have asked for anything more, and we will be cherishing these photos for the rest of our lives. We have beautiful photos of my husband and I, ones with our families, and from the entire event. Honestly, I don't even know how she got so many different angles at our ceremony--it was like she was in two places at once! She was organized and professional throughout, and was present to photograph all our special moments, but most of the time we didn't realize she was there at all! Then, when I saw the photos I was amazed at what she captured--special, fun moments that I am now reliving every time I look through all the gorgeous photos.

Jessica has a true talent and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and everything turned out how we envisioned. She is a true artist, is very caring, and her photos captured our happiness in the most beautiful way. Where could we possibly begin... Jessica is pure art, professionalism and excellence. From the moment Jessica arrived we were immediately comfortable. Her trained eye, clear way of direction and incredible artistic inspiration had us moving through a three part shoot with ease and enjoyment. I went from feeling unphotogenic to feeling like a model. Jessica's presence will eliminate the nerves and guess work around your shoot. This shoot went well above and beyond what we had expected. Nicole and I were married nearly six years ago and did not have the summer wedding shots we dreamed of. We contacted Jessica with very little details and simply said, "we need some shots". We wanted some professional and wedding shots for our collection. We thought it would be cool and maybe we would get a great shot. What we did not expect is a tour through the Hudson Valley to create MAGIC! Jessica took us through the town of Hudson and then to the outstanding Flower Blossom Farm where she brought the magic of our wedding day to life! We floated through rows of magnificent flowers as Jessica fought the perfectly calculated golden lights of sunset. Jessica did a wonderful job with our family. In addition to a family photo session, she also did my son’s senior pictures. She made sure everyone felt comfortable in front of the camera which made for some great photos! You know the photo session was a success when the kids had fun!! Jessica shot a session with my fiance and I to celebrate our engagement this past April. Jessica, not only was happy, nice, and interested in us and our lives, but she was very confident in her work, had GREAT ideas, and was completely flexible.
She allowed us to incorporate things into the photos that we wanted, though was very helpful with even (what seemed at the time to be) the little things, which when we reviewed the photos were highly advantageous.

Honestly, at first I didn't think photography was that important, so when my friend insisted I check Jess out, it was a pretty easy decision. Now, I look back at my pictures, how easy Jess made everything (you didn't even realize that she was there), that I'm 100% sure we made the best decision and probably easiest one of the entire wedding process. Photos are EXTREMELY important in my life! I am grateful to have worked with Jessica twice so far and look forward to working with her in the future. Recently, she took photos of my family and did a beautiful job. She has a great personality that lends itself to compatibility, professionalism, and ease. She handled our puppies beautifully and captured some great moments. Photos last a lifetime and I'm so glad Jessica was our photographer. Jessicca did our wedding two years ago and the photos were excellent. Two years later my parents wanted photos done of our whole family. I obviously suggested Jessica after the amazing job she did for our wedding. The pictures came out great. She was able to photograph our large family of 8 as well as two dogs.
