Monique was way more than a Wedding Coordinator. I found myself sometimes asking her general opinion on other things about my wedding and she always offered wonderful insight.
She was extremely reliable and dependable and paid attention to all the details. I could tell she had done this a time or two ;)
At times she really helped me calm down and give up my “control freak” ways when I needed it the most! We cannot be more pleased with Monique and she really contributed to making our day unforgettably special!

Words can't express this venue unless you've been blessed to experience it hands on you wouldn't get the full ambiance and treatment that Monique Thomas and her staff creates for her brides and grooms. I found the venue Nov 2015 and Immediately called to get an appointment to get a walk through, during the initial time I called Monique's assistance called me back, took my information and explained that Monique was preparing for a wedding and that she will be in contact with me in a few. Me thinking she's busy I'll hear from her in a couple days. NOPE! Monique called me back that same day within an hour of my I initial phone call. She was very pleasant and even being busy with another wedding, was informative and set us up for an appointment to come and take a walk through. Needless to say after my visit with Monique, not only was I impressed I went home and told my fiancé that this was the place. He asked me what it would take to book it. I immediately text Monique that evening asking her when she would be free to book us. She was surprised to be hearing from me so soon (the same day). Once she met my fiancé he explained to her that what sold me on the venue was her promptness and professionalism (That goes a long way with me) being that we weren't due to get married until the following year our time of getting to know Monique was way before the initial meeting in May when we had to pick our dinner menu and linen colors. I spoke with her maybe once a week about my ideas. We laughed she gave me advise on not just my wedding but on becoming a wife. We developed a bond. And to this day even tho we got married 7/28/16 not a day doesn't go by that I don't wish we could do it all over again. What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about being a Event Planner and Wedding Coordinator is being a part of planning a very important day with my clients. I remember when my husband and I were planning our wedding. It was a lot of work but it was fun. One of the things I decided on first was having a Planner. She made everything so much easier and she brought it all together. I love giving that back to everyone I do events for. I also pride myself on working with the client on staying within their budget while still having a beautiful and organized event.
What inspired you to start your own business?
What inspired me to start doing events was the opportunity to do the weddings at my church (2003) I was also a stay at home mother to my 2 boys who are now 24 and 27. My husband is also in the hospitality industry so we decided to do this together and since 2003 we have grown into a very personable company.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Since Covid-19 we have adapted to meeting with our clients via facetime, and zoom meetings. We are setting tables and sending pictures to help with the decision of your table setting. With the planning we offer access to Aisle Planner to let the client see where we are with the plans and for them to be able to see where they are with the things they need to provide.
