Yourik was our engagement, pre-wedding, and wedding photographer and he did amazing job. Everything about working with Yourik was great and smooth. We had the pleasure of having Yourik as our wedding photographer. He is very patient and takes time in his work. Very professional and well mannered. He was able to offer reasonable pricing and packages compared to other professional photographers. He scheduled a meeting to find out your expectations including timing of photos and events for the day.  Our photos were ready within 2 weeks after the wedding. He created a beautiful wedding album for us as shown in the pictures here. Yourik's work and passion for his work is incomparable to any other photographers that I have worked with in the past. He was my photographer/videographer for my bridal shower, pre-wedding photoshoot, as well as my wedding and I couldn't be more happier with my videos and photos. From our engagement photos to our entire wedding, we had the absolute pleasure of working with Yourik Studios this past May 12. Yourik, the owner, came highly recommened, not to mention on opposite coasts. We wanted the best of the best and went to Los Angeles for our Engagement session to see for ourselves! So cliche, but seeing is really believing! Prior to our arrangement, I spoke with Yourik multiple times in great detail, it was the first time we had a photo shoot, and prior to our meeting we were a little nervous which is a given in this situation. However, when we met Yourik, Gevik, and Hamlet our chemistry was undeniahble and they are extremely talented. We planned to do multiple settings and themes, but there are only so many hours in a day. We had two days of photography and videography in multiple popular and secluded areas of Los Angeles! It was a blast, and could not stop laughing and smiling throughout the experience. With this preview, we couldn't wait till May! Some couples think engagement shoots are a waste of time and has no use at all. Well, think twice, you will regret it later. Also, we can't emphasize more on the importance of 'letting go' during the shoot. They were all great and really helped eliminate our timidity in front of the camera  , and we were able to see each persons various photography and videography styles.  When Yourik, Gevik, and Hamelt arrived in DC, they provided our engagement photo album and all of our images captured. The album was so beautiful and professional incorporating different photographs including many silhouette, candid and glamorous moments, we felt like we were in California again.All three combined various styles including cinematic, traditional, artistic, and Indigenous/ beach. We love the beach and would travel any opportunity we had, so it was like deja vu, they took us back 10 years to memory lane and brought our story alive through their photos, drone, and many candid photos, which is a very difficult task! The Album- we were all speechless when we saw our album; being that we had spread out the shoot two days  incorporating different settings, time, and location, the pictures we were presented  had  iconic places as backdrops and were very surreal. They took creativity to a whole nother level which added glamour and sophistication !For our wedding, Yourik and his team arrived at our bridal suite capturing various things including  the beautiful romantic  room our Planner Shamci and Youriks team created of my dress ,  my husband and his groomsmen getting ready, bridemaids and me getting ready, and dancing  leading up to getting this party started. We proceeded to the Armenian Church to make it official where they captured so many beautiful images of the ceremony, guests, and family pictures. Following the Armenian ceremony, we returned back to the hotel to continues with the traditional sitting of the Persian Sofreh Aghad and reception. They were constantly by our side moving and captured EVERYTHING from all the tears, dancing and energy till the early morning hours!  We were so pleased with our pictures and can't wait to see our video! My family and I can't thank them enough for capturing the priceless images and memories that they did!Keep calm and let go when you have Yourik, Hamlet, and Gevik! Below is a brief description of my amazing experience with Yourik’s Studio. Pre-Wedding From day one Yourik's Studio had been super helpful with all aspects of my wedding. I know that they are a photography studio, but they sat down with me and explained in detail what needs to be done and what to expect on the big day. I constantly found myself seeking their advice about my venue and church and time coordination. The best thing was that I felt that they did not mind helping me out with everything; they really went above and beyond what I expected. I felt like they were more of a wedding consultant. I'm Armenian, so our weddings are very long and a lot of planning goes into, so having Yourik's Studio there really took a lot of the stress off my shoulders. The Wedding Day - June 2015 On the day of Yourik’s Studio arrived at my house ready to go. They walked in, did their set-up and started shooting. What was great was that they had two crews: one at my house and one at the groom’s house. This really helped economize our time. I hate, and I do mean hate taking pictures. Yourik’s Studio really worked with me on this. Throughout the wedding they took pictures and video and they gave me breaks when they felt I was tired of posing. This really showed me that they cared about me and they worked hard to make me feel comfortable and stress free. They were great about directing me in what poses to strike and took a lot of natural photos (which are great for me the anti-picture bride). I really felt my wedding went smoothly because of Yourik's Studio and all the preparation we did together. Post Wedding The photo quality is amazing! Everything else aside, the pictures really bespeak wonders about their quality of work. There were so many options to choose from, over a thousand photos! Yourik went above and beyond our expectations. I cant say how satisfied we are with all his service. Me and my husband were very stressed on our wedding day but Yourik's good behavior and sense of humor made us laugh the whole time which was really helpful. At fist we weren't planning on doing the pre-wedding pictures but Yourik convinced us that its going to be a good option to do both the pre-wedding and wedding pictures and God knows how happy we are for doing it. Hello to all the future brides and Grooms! When deciding to pick a photographer and videographer for my wedding it was simply very easy for me because having done my research there was no doubt in my mind that picking Yourik Studio was the right choice. After seeing some of his work on-line it amazed me to see his professionalism and his passion for his work, from the picture layouts to the scene to the music he chose was simply phenomenal. There are few occasions in your life where you have the opportunity to be in the limelight. A wedding day is one and photos and videos are instrumental on helping you remember just how special that day was. For our special day we went with YourikStudios to capture and create our memento.
It's wonderful to work with a photographer who knows the venues (City Hall), the church and surrounding areas. Yourik maximized our time, ensuring that we got the images important to us and the ones he knew would be priceless. . Most of the pictures were captured with us behaving naturally and not posing and Yourik made us feel at ease.
Yourik and his professional team have perfected the art of photography, especially weddings. They have all of the latest equipment and gadgets necessary for the demands of today's high expecting customer whether its for Hi Definition this or zillion megapixel that, you name it, they have it and use it. The pictures and the videos came out amazing. It is absolutely stunningly done. They are aesthetically very modern (they certainly keep up with trends) and tasteful. For a very reasonable price we certainly got more that we asked for.
Above all that matters, Yourik and his staff are 100% dedicated and really care for the best result. Here is why.
On your wedding day you will realize that you are actually having an out of body experience and are not thinking clearly. While your mind is going a million miles a second (hope my 3rd cousin once removed doesn’t nag about her seating arrangement) there is a tendency to not live and enjoy the moment. Yourik (with 30 years of experience) constantly reminded us of the importance of the day and to live and take in the moment. And with that in mind we got the best keepsake of our life.

Yourik studios is one of few places where the term "you get what you pay for" does not apply. I got a discounted rate compared to other places and was really surprised at all the extra work and extra things we got. Really professional staff who care and know what they are doing. They guided us through our special day and where respectful and fun to be around. I was blown away at the pre-wedding video they put together for us to play on our wedding day during the ceremony I we have watched it like 50 times since. Jjust awesome. I searched high and low to find a photographer i liked, i hated the posed photos that most do, who could capture the natural, everyday moments and Yourikstudio had all of the above qualities.
