I have never experienced such disrespect from a business before. On February 24, 2024, upon my arrival at the Tax Lady’s office and after giving my name to the receptionist, Vicky B, there were whispers and stares from another employee, Desa Johnson, who was not only rude but also dismissive. My visit was the result of multiple calls and emails to the owner, Kathy Bylkas, none of which received a response, neither from the receptionist nor from voicemail or email messages. Upon arrival, I was informed that the tax documents I had submitted during my in-person appointment on January 31,2024 with Leslie were incomplete because other clients were prioritized. Rather than making me wait nearly a month for this information, I wish Kathy Bylkas and her team had been upfront with me at my initial appointment if they were unwilling to complete my tax return business. The treatment I received as a customer was far from satisfactory, and I hope that the undisclosed issue they had with me doesn’t affect any of their other clients in the same way. Kathy Bylkas and her office staff, Desa Johnson and Leslie have no sense of business values, lacks professionalism and are very unresponsive. We had your tax lady do one year prior to two years ago and we got a refund. This year’s taxes was even more than we expected. My Tax Lady has been my saving grace. They are always courteous when I walk in, and are ALWAYS ON TIME to meet quarterly dead lines. They have always completed my deadlines, and give you a courtesy call to let you know when they are ready to be picked up. Renee, Karen & Jennifer have always helped me out on last minute requests!
