What can I say? The service is amazing and the staff are so friendly and happy to help. I got my wedding dress altered here recently and it’s just perfect. They made sure they talked to me about what they were doing and gave advice on what looks better. I had quite a lot of alterations and I can’t fault their service. It’s second to none. I was nervous about getting my wedding dress altered but I shouldn’t have been. I felt relaxed the whole time I was there and after picking up my dress with all the alterations completed. I have walked out there with a smile on my face and I would 1000% recommend posh alterations to anyone. Posh Alterations were absolutely amazing on the lead up to my wedding. We had 4 dresses altered in total, including my wedding dress and I honestly couldn’t fault any of the work. We had a last minute panic on the day before the wedding when we found a mark on a bridesmaid dress that wouldn’t come out, but the team went above and beyond to do the alterations in record time to save the day. Even the hair and make up artist were amazed that a new panel had been put in the dress as you couldn’t see a thing. Great little alteration place in Chelmsford. The staff are so lovely and the work they do is amazing. I had to get my wedding dress taken in two sizes smaller and now it fits like a dream. I have used posh alterations for 4 bridesmaid dresses and they done an amazing job, they were quick and reasonably priced for the alterations that they had to do.
I am 4ft 11 so they have taken up several clothes of mine
I just want to say how amazing they were 5/7/18!! I was a bridesmaid on the 6/7/18 and had put on a little bit of weight causing me to to split my dress posh alterations saved my day! I was in there at 8.30 in an emotional mess and my 2pm on the SAME DAY they had added in half an inch on each side couldn’t even tell the different in the dress!!! AMAAZZZZZING THANK YOU SO MUCH! Highly recommend to anyone!!

I had the length altered, a bustle added and some other alterations too, they were all done so well you wouldn't believe any alterations had been done at all! I have used Posh Alterations on several occasions.
They are both professional and friendly. I had a dress which I felt uncomfortable in as it had a very low underarm, after a fitting the handkerchief style hem was made one length with the excess material being used as inserts, the finished result was.
.. you wouldn’t have known it had been altered.
I’ve had pockets sewn up on my new M&S red slacks because they pulled open when sitting down.
Lastly I would like to say thanks for an efficient service, always on time.

They work magic in that shop - they really do! So far they have completely remade a jacket that was two sizes too big, made a set of new bar stool covers from fabric (to match our sofas) and are now adding a panel into a cocktail dress so I don’t have to sell it on eBay.
