I signed up with my girlfriend in March and was only able to use the gym 1 or 2 times before the Corona virus hit and the gym shut down.
I find it very frustrating that in the middle of a pandemic I was forced to manually freeze my account because I was still being charged for a service that I could not use because it was unavailable due to quarantine.
I manually froze my account, but later found that my account was automatically unfrozen without my permission when my location reopened. I was never called and told that the location was open or that my account would be unfrozen. With the number of cases in Florida steadily rising after the quarantine ended I was not about to go back to the gym and I was appalled to find that my account had been unfrozen without me requesting so. A couple of weeks ago I went into my local youfit to cancel my subscription because there was a charge of $53 on my account even though I had not authorized the unfreezing of my account nor had I been to the gym. They told me I could not cancel my subscription because I had made it with a another person even though it was my bank account that was being charged. They told me to come back with the other person and they would cancel it for me.
I went back today to cancel my account because even though I had already expressed that I would be canceling my account and that I had not used your facilities at all since March I was charged a yearly subscription fee as well as a monthly subscription fee. This is outrageous and I demand a refund.
I refuse to pay over $100 for a service that I am unable to utilize due to a global pandemic which is out of my control.
I have called, emailed, tweeted, and facebook messaged Youfit corporate with no response. My local Youfit has told me they will not refund my money.

After the managers response I got a one week trial and got to workout a few times. The gym has a great selection of equipment, some of the machines and weights are a little older and worn but nothing is broken so it's fine by me. The crowd here is very focused, people come in put in their headphones and get to it. There's people at every level but no one standing around or texting on machines which is great. I come to this gym almost every day and it works for me. The gym has several cardio machines such as treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, and more. The free weights range from 5 pounds to 90 pounds. Â They also do a great job of keeping the gym clean and organized. Â Every once in a while they offer a Boot Camp classes or challenges that you can participate in for an extra fee. love working out here, everyone is so nice and helps you out with anything you need. tons of variety in workout equipment, has a supplement vending machine, and the bathrooms are actually clean all the time unlike other gyms i've been to.

This place is really nice and clean. Came with a day pass because we're from out of town. Considering going home and making the switch from LA Fitness to here. First want to check and see if our local facility is as nice as this one. We came during lunch time and there was nobody here. It was like having a private gym. I la la love this location, it is probably one of the nicest in the area to be honest. I've been going to YouFit since the beginning of this year and a few days ago was my first time coming to this location. This location is huge (two story gym), it has a YouFit Cinema for Cardio (first time seeing that), plenty of cardio machines, super duper spacious free weight area and stretching area. However, my absolute favorite part of this gym is the personal training area in which they have weight push sleds and ropes. I wish they had a sauna, but you can't have it all haha! Every time I come in, I am greeted by the front desk staff. They are always very helpful and friendly. Even the trainers will offer tips if they aren't working with a client. This location is very clean, especially the locker room/bathroom. The equipment works great and the gym is organized perfectly for my workouts. I go early in the morning before work because there is plenty of equipment and space to work out without much interaction with other gym goers, which is a huge plus. More...

You get what you pay for. It's decent for the price...just hard to get a machine, especially at the one on Pines and Hiatus bc it's always packed! The sauna is a nice added touch and the kids club is a big bonus for ppl who need that service. Love this Youfit location! The gym is always clean and organized which is really important to me. The manager there, Arthur, is always very attentive and helpful! This YouFit is much more like a traditional gym, the kind you remember from before gyms became all corporate. Â I like it but it may not be for everyone. I had only been to the YouFit in Gainesville before a few weeks ago, and then I went to the one on Westview and was blown away by how much better it was than my YouFit at home. Â They I decided to try another one, this one, and had another completely different experience. Â This YouFit is probably a YouFit makeover of an older gym that was here before. Â It is older looking both inside and out, and feels more like a no nonsense gym from the 80's. LOVE LOVE LOVE this gym! I'm not a gym person because they make me feel so uncomfortable not knowing how to use the equipment, but this place goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. They will take the time to show you how to use the equipment properly. It's a one stop shop. I drop my daughter off in kids club (she loves it and begs me to go, win win!) I get my workout in then do all the extras they offer (Sauna, massage beds and tanning) So convenient to have it all in one location! OH and the classes!!! Really nice new YouFit location in Central Phoenix. They opened recently, and this is definitely one of the nicest mid-tier gyms in the area. All the equipment is brand-new, and there's a pretty wide array of options. There's ample equipment so I've never seen a wait for any cardio equipment and the front desk staff is always friendly. Locker rooms have always been clean and fairly empty. Only issue I have is I haven't been able to figure out how to work the TVs on the cardio equipment to work. This is one of my top 2 YouFit locations. Â I hope they are able to maintain this level of cleanliness and good service long term. Â It does not seem to get as packed as many of the other YouFits I have visited. Â Everything just looks "cared for."My husband actually just left a 180$/month membership with Equinox to start using this specific YouFit--do I need to say more? Â Showers are clean, locker room is spacious and the sauna is a good bonus.The recovery room with the huge massage chairs (each with its own individual tv) is also a good place to end a workout and is rarely full.Even though I do not have children yet, I have heard good things about their child care, which is extra but still very affordable.
