Carly is a patient and calming teacher, perfect for a beginner of my age who isn't as supple as they used to be.

LET ME BE EMPHATIC AND CLEAR!!The teachings, experiences and boundless possibilities available to all at The Yoga Sanctuary can't be adequately quantified or qualified by the use of mere language; as words do them no justice. However, bound as I am by linguistic limitation, my duty is to attempt to convey the vast potential for profound joy, peace and fulfillment to be found at this Heavenly Haven, for any and all who come with an open heart and an open mind. If you're in touch with the yearning in your deepest core for exploration, discovery and genuine growth then my words will resonate with you and you will find yourself walking through this ever open door at The Yoga Sanctuary and into the truth of yourself and of a life of real freedom and true expression. I do not overstate when I describe this divine space and all it's human and material contents as the single most important treasure I have ever unearthed - a wellspring of ancient wisdom in a contemporary setting, under the auspices of genuinely remarkable teachers. If, as I expect, these words do resonate with you then you must see for yourself, life changing is almost a cliche but in the case of The Yoga Sanctuary it's one that chimes with truth and relevance.Come one and all and share the bliss. You WILL NOT be disappointed!! The Teacher Training Course here is the real thing, can't find the words to do it justice. Steve's depth of knowledge and his ability to share it with humour and kindness is incredible. I've met so many beautiful people and learned so much about life, how the world works, how to be. Has transformed my levels of contentment, patience and happiness. Not to mention enriched an deepened my yoga practice, and of course the skills to teach others should I so wish. If you're thinking of teaching or want to learn more about yoga or just want to feel better, then I can't recommend this enough. Thank you Steve, from the bottom of my heart. More...

I would recommend the 200 Yoga Teacher Training program to anyone who would like to deepen their knowledge in yoga philosophy, establish a deep daily practice, and who is ready to change. The training with Steve enabled me to step up as a yoga teacher, find my teaching voice and be confident in what I know and am able to offer. If you are just waiting for a sign to decide if you should give this a go, consider this as your sign to do it. :) More...

I have just completed the beginners' course and found it deeply relaxing. I loved coming to the classes each week and felt very welcome. I now practice yoga most days and find it really helps me switch off after a busy day. I also enjoy running and have found the yoga has helped my breathing and flexibility. I am now planning to come to Living Yoga to continue developing my practice. More...

The Yoga Teacher Training has been a continuation of my self- discovery journey with Yoga Sanctuary. The last 3 years have been life changing, Steve and Sarah's teachings helped me find energy, strength, joy and wisdom during a very difficult time for me. Their teaching is authentic, knowledgeable, with a systematic experiential approach pleasantly spiced with humour. The regular practice and commitment required by the Teacher Training ensures a natural deepening of the understanding of Yoga.I feel words don't do it justice, so I encourage you to come and let yourself be inspired! It was an increasing lack of mobility that was my initial motivation to do more yoga so I enrolled on the 10 week beginner course in January 2018. From week one I was rewarded with improvements so kept up the daily practice and reaped the rewards very quickly, not just with my mobility but with my mind too. After week three I went skiing and it was here that I fully appreciated the impact the course was having. Historically the first ski run of the day was always a challenge for me, but not on this holiday! I would do my daily practice before breakfast and then in the cable car, instead of nervously over thinking everything that might go wrong, I would enjoy the views, the conversation and the company. I arrived at the slopes already warmed up and mentally calm. As a consequence my daily first run down the mountain was a joy! No stiffness and no nerves. Astonishing! I’ve been skiing for 18 years and this is the first time this had happened. Since then my mobility continued to improve and my mind is less restless. I’ve now signed up for the level one classes because yoga is my new favourite hobby and I’m looking forward to discovering what I am capable of and how far this journey will take me. More...

After practicing yoga for many years at the Sanctuary, (my intention was not to actually teach) I am nearing the end of my teacher training course and I findthat it has revealed to me, what I hoped it would, the deeper science of how yoga works. The course has been taught in a systematic, logistical and often humorous way that has made my time studying really enjoyable. This has stimulated an interest to learn more and so, I am very much looking forward to the advanced teacher training course. More...

The 200 hour Level 1 Teacher Training Course at The Yoga Sanctuary delivers an entirely systematic framework which enables the student to share this powerful, practical method of relaxing the self contraction of ego with beginners and fellow practitioners.

As the course is part time and spread over many months it really allows you to absorb and integrate what you’re learning into life.

In return for dedicated, regular practice and consistent study you get not just the personal benefits that come naturally with that practice; but a gradually deepening understanding of how Yoga creates its benefits and how and when to share that.

If you participate in this course with enthusiasm, perseverance, discrimination, unshakable faith and courage you’ll find yourself in inspiring company and the benefits will be endless ;)
