We went to a cupcake decorating session at the Yellow Butterfly for my hen do, and we all had a great time. The session was relaxed and good fun, with a bottle of Prosecco and nibbles to accompany our newly learnt decorating skills! The session suited a mixture of ages and experience in cake decorating. Yvonne and the team are so helpful no matter how big or small,they are always willing to help out,I had the pleasure in doing a basic sugar flower course with Yvonne,and I felt pretty nervous if im honest, but Yvonne has such great people skills I felt like part of the team within minutes, their new premises are fantastic from learning a new skill to buying all your sugarcraft goods at a real value for money price,I for one will keep going back to the yellow butterfly shop, and I highly recommend you give them a try Paul Holmes (aka Thebaldbaker )

I ordered a cake for a birthday for someone who loves crafts and sewing. It was a patchwork quilt with sewing thread reels, safety pins, wool and knitting. My husband and I gifted my sister and her new husband their wedding cake for their wedding present! We went to Yvonne with our ideas and magazine cuttings etc. My sister is very alternative and their wedding was to follow suit - it was certainly not a traditional cake we were looking to create! What do you love most about your job?
Providing a first class customer care to our customer's weather they are looking to have a bespoke wedding cake buy tools and equipment to help them produce the perfect cake or to teach them the skills rthey never knew they had in cake decorating and sugarcraft.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was watching my friends mother making cakes as a child and it was a burning desire to do this not only a s a hobby but also to develop it into a business. Helping people to get what they desire always gives me a buzz so it's not a job it's a vocation to me .
Why should our clients choose you?
Our aim is to ensure that all our customers no matter what they need within our field of expertise weather it be cakes, teaching the art cake decorating the buying of cake-making and sugarcraft tools/equipment and ingredients is that they get the most ethical true and best advice that can be given.

We have a teaching school where do workshops in cake making and sugarcraft. It does not matter if you are a complete beginner or a professional wanting to extend your skills we have a course for you.
so matter what you want to learn we can teach you our classes. We are also your local accredited venue for Pme diplomas and masters leading to sugar artists all certificated.
