If your looking for an excellent personal trainer look no further than James Cummins - he does his PT sessions out of CSC Cashel. He pushes you to your limits but knows what your limits are. He comes organized and prepared with a plan to each session. He genuinely wants to help the person he is training. As far as gyms go Xtreme sets a good bench-mark (pun intended?). It is kitted out, spacious and the staff are helpful. Great gym at a fantastic price! It has all the machines and stations you could want. Leg press variations, hack squat, hip thrust station, isolation exercise machines, smith machine, multiple cable machines with wide range of attachmentsOlympic barbells, three power racks, lots of olympic bumper plates as well as rubber coated plates. Olympic lifting platform also there. A wall of dumbell racks up to around 60kg (I think!) Plenty of treadmills, stationary bikes, elliptical machines and rowing machines for cardio. Variety of medicine balls, resistance bands and kettlebells. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. There's typically electronic music playing loudly and it's usually quite clean and tidy too.All in all a great gym, one of the best I've trained in and by far the best in Thurles More...
