I would highly recommend Ian Stanley . I am having a two storey extension on my old character house and I wanted it to be in keeping with this. Every stage has been explained very simply with prices up front . He has listened to my requirements and answered any questions I have had along the way. I contacted Xspace for advice on a small extension my house.The service provided from the first contact to the submission of plans to the local authority was first class.
Mr Stanley was very helpful and his knowledge,attitude was excellent nothing was to much trouble and he was most approachable.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Xspace for anyone considering a similar project.

An initial discussion with Ian Stanley convinced us that he would be the right person to help us 're-imagine' our 60's style flat-roof property into a stylish modern home with a low-pitched roof and free-flowing interior.
Ian has not only created an elegant design - both exterior and interior - but has been instrumental at all planning and technical stages, making sure that the project has progressed unhindered. We have been particularly impressed by his ability to take our often very sketchy ideas and bring them to life. We are now in week 13 of a 21 week project and are very happy with progress and the results so far.
We are also grateful to Ian for his many contributions along the way, helping us to select our builder, some key suppliers and also presenting ideas and suggestions for interior and exterior finishes and fittings.
We have always found Ian to be polite, courteous and ever willing to help along the way - a very professional contribution that has been highly valuable at all stages of our project. His early guidance on budgets and timescales has also been shown to be extremely accurate. We plan to use Xspace again in the near future.

If when standing in loft you can touch the ridge, then conversion may be tight and difficult to be building regulation compliant
