Great food and atmosphere. Smallish but enjoyable and very popular with local Coral Gables crowd. Food prices a little high but wine selection is very very good. They also have a deli and small store with Spanish specialties. We go all the time. More...

The food smells good, but you’ll never get it. Huge disconnect between Manager, Waitress and Kitchen. Not going to write a long review. Our reservations were at 730. We walked out at 930 with no food. To make things worse, they were playing Spanish porn on all the TVs with a restaurant full of children. NOT GOOD. More...

I go here on special occasions... and they never disappoint. The tapas are super delicious and cooked to perfection. The server was a little slow but we still had a great time

The two times I have been here, it never stopped to amazed me with the quality of ingredients, the ambience.. the servers have been amazing and most of all the bartenders were phenomenal! Love the food and will stop by every month to have a good lunch or dinner! Highly reccomended! Specially the croquetas, carajillo and desserts! More...

I was there on Wednesday night with friends from Panama who are both gourmets and wine connoisseurs. Our table attendant, Norma Iglesias, provided us with service fit for royalty. The food.......well.......simply spectacular. We had black rice with calamari second to none, except for maybe Barcelona. All of the tapas and other entrees were served with perfection. Normally even brought us a sampling of this amazing ice cream made with Alicante Turron! I truly recommend this gem of a restaurant! More...

Xixon has its own story already in the Coral Way corridor. Starting more than 10 years ago as a very small place that soon was packed with people, to the place they occupy now. Options of wine are respectable. You can find really surprising options and the usuals! Food is out of this world! If you really know authentic Spanish cuisine and look for that flavor that onlynon the peninsula can be found. I have been going there since the very beginning and every time, it is like going back to Spain! Highly recommended!!! More...

Food was great. Service couldn’t be any better. Auris waited on us and she had great knowledge and recommendations of their wines and cavas. She was great recommending different dishes and we were very pleased with the service. Will definitely go back and will ask to be wait by Auris. More...

Although I have A LOT to say I will keep it short. We waited patiently for over an hour after ordering our dinner only to have the manager come to our table and tell us the kitchen never saw our order and they didn't even begin to prepare our food. We told him we needed to be somewhere at 10...and its already 9 at this point and he assured us he would have something at our table in 10 mins (not what we originally ordered because paella would have taken an extra 30 mins)...another 15 mins go by and still nothing, just more bread for the table and the croquettes we ordered an hour and a half ago. At this point we are all hungry, impatient and in a rush to go to our next destination so we leave after wasting 2 hours of our night and having no more time to eat.

I would not recommend this restaurant, it's simply not worth it.

On top of all of this, the TV's all over the restaurant were playing Spanish channels and there was a sex scene with the ladies nipples flashing all over the place and the staff didn't even notice despite the guest's reactions to the screen ...and there were children all over the place.

I will never come back. We were 5 for dinner, marisco salad was floating in oil and lemon, not freshly squeezed lemon but from a bottle. The octopus and papas appetizer was super chewy and the potatoes were boiled since a long time before being served on the plate. The Corvina was bland and full of bones. The potatoes with the fish were just with white wine taste and nothing more. Lamb chops were not the best either and the papas fritas were sauted from long time ago and were like cardboard. We were hoping to have a great crème catalane but no hope either, the caramel on top was super thick and the crème was grainy and clumpy.
So disappointed. Even though the food wasn’t the best the server, Matias, was super friendly and accommodating.
