I was a member of this gym for about 2years after which i finished my uni and had to move to place bit further away so took another gym membership but so far i would recommend to everyone if you looking for best value plus best equipped gym than this is the one. It has got many classes to fit your needs and the space itself is huge and you also get all helpful staffs. I joined up to the Leeds Xercise4Less gym only a couple of weeks ago, but it's seriously impressive for such a cheap price. Usually you pay £15 a month, which gets you access to all the gym equipment and all of the classes that the gym offers. Compared to the bigger gyms, this is a ridiculously cheap price, and I wondered what the catch was going to be. Now, there isn't a swimming pool or a sauna, or basically any luxuries whatsoever. However, I couldn't care less! There's loads of classes on offer, and although I haven't tried one yet myself, a couple of people I know who have say they are good stuff (and not remotely half baked as a thought they might be, again because of the cheap price). The gym equipment is also very impressive - there's absolutely loads of running machines, cross trainers and cycling machines, meaning you will never ever find you can't get on one. A lot of the weights machines also have more than one of each, so there'll always be something you can get on, although you might have a short wait for some of the more popular machines, but this is easily forgiveable. There's even a 'combat zone', which includes punch bags and even a boxing ring. I'm gonna have to get in there with a friend at some point for a friendly punch up/wrestle (!), but again it's a welcome addition for anyone who might want to use such things.So really there isn't a proper catch. The price is low because they just cut out loads of unnecessary things and basically keep staff to a minimum. I actually got a voucher code when I was joining up and am paying £10 a month. If I'm honest this lower price would also probably mean I wouldn't go as much if I was going alone, but luckily I go with 2 others after work so we make each other go (or as it actually is, one of the others is motivated and this makes us go!).Basically, jump on this!! I first joined the Leeds Xercise4Less in February when it opened. I was a student at the time and despite paying £125 for a 'Sports Pass' for a year entitling me to use all the gym facilities at the University I never felt like I made the most of the gym so when I was approached by an X4L staff member I listened to what they had to stay- I was monumentally staggered by the price of £9. 99 a month for an off peak membership, I thought this sort of value was unheard of these days with gym memberships. Normally for that price I would not expect a gym of X4L's magnitude, the size of the gym is great it has a vast array of CV equipment and machines alongside a gigantic fitness studio where I often work out with my own routines. For those who are into classes X4L must offer nearly 50 a week so I it is a very sociable gym too, from following X4L on social media sites I can see that this is conveyed across too.
