The only reason why I am giving X1 a 5 star review is because of Harry Sheehan. I rented an apartment in X1 Media City and even though the Account Manager at the time was really helpful, it was when Harry took over that we really started to see change at this new built apartment block. Harry went above and beyond with his customer service when he provided me information and support with regards to a parking claim even more than a year after vacating the apartment. X1 has had its share of downfalls, where it seems that the service being provided is not up to par at times, but for me, Harry went above and beyond. Thanks Harry. More...

I've moved in to Harbour city tower a year ago. I've basically signed-up for 1 bed ap straight away after seeing that with Emily from evening/weekend staff. They have Weekend options for viewing which is great. Ap was managed by Harry Sheehan who was helpful with all the bureaucracy over the email nice and easy. Basically never had a real major problem that was not addressed reasonably in a reasonable time span.Ma rating is actually 4.5 but I can't seem to give half a star moreWhat I could recommend X1 is to forward tenants to other person when a tenant's point-of-contact is on holiday. In both cases, 1st at the end of my agreement - which I extended, then at the end of my 2nd 6month agreement the person responsible went on holiday. They deserve a holiday for sure, but leaving a tenant like that might create some awkward delays during a stressful to a tent time (moving-out or staying decision). 1st time I called and spammed X1 a lot with little help, but once Harry got back from Holiday it was a snap - however I have started then to look for something else (other place) since I was not sure what X1 wanted me to leave or stay?2nd situation was similar but I've decided not to wait and I managed to find something else and make other necessary arrangements.Overall really great. I am currently employed by X1 Lettings at the Leeds Branch as the evening Housing Support Officer / Concierge and i just wanted to say its an amazing environment where i get to meet some really nice people from all backgrounds which is one of my favourite aspects of the job and also the fact that I'm able to work closely with the team at X1 mainly Denika the accounts manager for the Leeds Branch Denika has provided myself and my colleagues with the correct training,support aswell as regular communication has meant my job at X1 Lettings is easy, i just wanted to say a big thank you to Denika keep up the brilliant work.Kind Regards

I moved into an x1 building a few months back and had nothing but the best since we first viewed our apartment, we fell in love with the apartment as soon as we saw it and Milly handled everything for us, she was polite and friendly and gave us all the information we required, every time we have a slight issue with something in the apartment she’s always had someone come and fix anything as soon as possible, we live in a beautiful location in Salford quays and take full advantage of our surroundings, which Milly went above and beyond to help us with the best places to go that are local to us, would definitely recommended X1 to any young professionals that are looking for a quirky and lovely place to live!

From start to finish my dealings with X1 have been dream worthy. As a tenant, I get a real sense that the agency values my living experience. The building at Media City is absolutely gorgeous and the lettings team are highly professional and empathetic towards my needs. Any issues that I have raised to the Account Management team have been resolved swiftly with a minimum of fuss and it’s clear that the company has an ethos of continuous improvement. I’ve just moved out of my apartment at X1 The Exchange in Manchester and I’m absolutely gutted to be leaving. I’ve been a tenant here since the building opened and I’ve had such a great time here. The flat is perfect and modern and the account manager has really gone out of her way to help me. Milly has always been super friendly and always going the extra mile for me. Looked after my daughter amazingly! last year during clearing I was panicking about where to send my daughter we both went to a lot of viewings but most places were booked up as it was quite late. luckily we found 1 room at The Edge and Harry got us booking in and the service was so quick and stress free. When Emily moved in I felt that all staff X1 Lettings made the experience from start to finish friendly and I always felt welcome making phone calls, checking in. Emily has also said it was easy to make friends and the accounts managers put on parties and social events and really made an effort with her and her flat mates. We moved her out last week and the summer staff, Amy and Jess made the process fun and they were more than helpful.. X1 the Courtyard is an excellent student accommodation. The apartments are modern and fully furnished, and all bills are included in the rent, including internet and Sky tv, which makes it easy as a student to keep your budget in order without any surprises with electricity bills etc. The location is pretty good. Camp&Furness is the closest night out, but town is walking distance and very doable as well. There is a Spar which is open 24 hours about a 5 minute walk away, which is very convenient for those times you're missing a cooking ingredient etc. There is security in the building which can be contacted by tenants, as well as CCTV, meaning it is easy to feel safe living here. Ciara in the X1 team replies to emails promptly, I have been amazed by receiving replies to queries even outside of office hours - this was greatly appreciated. I have lived with X1 for 2 years, and have re-booked for the commencing academic year. Highly recommended! More...
