I am so glad I came across this place. It has been the catalyst to helping me become healthy again and making exercise and eating healthy my top priority. In my first 6 weeks I lost over 6% body fat and am feeling great. Tracy is a fantastic trainer and really motivates you and holds you accountable. The place is clean, inviting and perfect for all fitness levels. Don’t be afraid if you are just starting out. They cater to all levels and help you improve and grow as the weeks go by. I have been attending this gym for a few years but i had never watched my diet until i started the 6 week challenge. Joining the 6 week challenge has allowed me to compliment the excercise with the correct way of eating. I have seen a big change in my energy levels, and overall fitness. I’ve been with the X-treme team for a while and recently completed the 60 day belly blast challenge. It works! I lost 15 lbs, several inches in the waist and 2% fat. I feel better than I have in years and it’s simply become a new way of eating rather than a diet. At 51 I finally feel fit again. The gym is a great environment where members support each other. I have been a member at this gym for about 3 years and as I get older in my 40s I have realized I still need a lot of help with mobility and becoming a better version of me. This Box will help you do that! Amazing trainers and good vibes with a great community of people who motivate and push you through when all you want to do is rest./quit. We just finished a 6 week Belly Fat Blast Challenge and I successfully completed it, losing 10 lbs and 2% body fat, this challenge is maintainable and I have already lost another 2 lbs after the challenge has ended. If you are searching for a place whether you are an athlete by nature or just someone who needs to get in shape, this is where you should start! All levels are welcome, they modify based on you and as I mentioned its a great community of people all here for the same reason, our health and to look and feel good! In addition the gym keeps you accountable, by signing up for classes, logging your workouts (so you can see your progress), and they will call or text if you fail to show up for a couple days! I'm 41 years old and in the absolute best shape of my life. I owe it all to Neal Maddox and the team at Crossfit X-treme Athletics.Since starting at the gym in October of 2016, I've shed 65+ pounds. When I first walked through the doors, I was just 2 years past having a heart attack, grossly overweight, and desperate for a transformation.My first day, my first week, my first month - they were all really hard, and I was really embarrassed by how out of shape I was. I was able to stick to it because of the expert guidance of the coaches and supportive community of members.We've all heard the horror stories of gruesome crossfit injuries, but those just don't happen at CFXA. Although the programming is designed to push you, the highly trained coaches know every single member and what level they are at in their fitness journey. They make sure you have your form and technique down before moving on to heavy weights or advanced moves. In nearly 3 years, I've barely experienced anything worse than just being really sore.I've had the opportunity to workout at other gyms across the country while traveling, so I can say with confidence that X-treme Athletics is truly a special place. Just wanted to share my wonderful experience thus far with this facility! My girlfriend and I got our foot in the door with the 6 week challenge.  Needless to say the workouts are definitely challenging however you have 2 extremely supportive and motivational trainers (Neal and Tracy)showing you the right way to do each and every move. They have pushed us to go further than we thought we were capable of.  The group/class atmosphere is very friendly, everyone roots for one another creating a very friendly open environment no matter your fitness level. We were so happy with our results in the 6 week challenge, where I lost 20 lbs, that we decided to sign up and become full time members.The gym and equipment are well cared for and the dogs are super sweet and definitely cheer you up after a tough work out. I highly recommend Xtreme Athletics!  I have been a member for years, and cannot say enough about Neal and Tracey, the owners.  I am 52 years old, and have been with Xtreme Athletics since 2006.  After my second child, Neal gave me a workout and nutrition plan that got me back down to my pre-baby weight.  Over the years, I have continued to train at the gym, as it keeps me in the best shape, especially as I am getting older.Training or getting fit is a very personal journey, and at  Xtreme Athletics, Neal has put together programs tailored to the individuals.  His knowledge of body mechanics, muscular heath, and nutrition are the best I have ever seen.  He is an expert at training, nutrition and recovery, which frankly most trainers only train, and do not have the knowledge or expertise in nutrition.  I have done both, personal training with Neal, as well as the classes.  They are both excellent.  The 1:1 training you get with Neal is awesome.  He teaches movement, technique, and builds a program based on your personal goals.  The classes are just as great.  I have met so many wonderful people over the years.  We push and support each other in a very positive way.As far as the gym itself, the gym is always clean, pristine even.  Neal and Tracy both have a lot of pride in their gym, and keep it extremely clean for each class.  They do ask people to clean their equipment when they are done working out, and that is just good gym etiquette. Everyone treats the place like their own, and in order to have nice equipment, it takes not only the owners, but the customers to respect the equipment that Neal and Tracy make available to all of its members.  Overall, this is the best gym I have ever been a part of.  Neal and Tracy are amazing, motivating trainers, and I would never consider another gym. I have gone to a couple of community days at X-Treme and the people were extremely friendly. During the workouts I received motivating feedback from multiple trainers on how to improve form regarding specific movements, as well as, positive motivation from my workout partner (a gym regular). Other gyms will have chalk all over the place, heavily crowded, or old equipment. This gym is very clean, spacious and the equipment is new. I have never been a gym rat but noticing some strength loss in my mid-30s, I started Neal's workout regimen. I was pretty surprised how quickly I gained strength back and noticed a big upswing in strength and stamina.I highly recommend this X-treme Athletics. More...

I have had nothing but great experiences at this gym. Neal and Tracy are both such encouraging coaches and facilitate top-notch workouts (I can't speak for any of the other trainers mentioned in other reviews because I've only attended classes/training by these two). This gym is really clean. Like, who's ever had a good experience in a gym bathroom?! These ones are clean.You can't beat being trained by a Crossfit champion. I've never been so sore in my life as when I first attended Neal's classes. Throughout the entire class he gives tips and feedback, it's almost like you're getting personal 1:1 training, but in a group setting (and without the cost :).Being trained by Tracy got me into the best shape of my life.When you join this gym, you join a community. It's not just about the workouts - Neal and Tracy also have events, like a group run on Thanksgiving and the holiday party, so you get to know the people you work out with (which I love, as someone who moved out here without knowing many people). Neal is a confident trainer and championship level instructor. His coaching is highly professional and he always focuses on up lifting my commitment, endurance, and mental focus. Continues to Impress - I can't say enough about Crossfit X-Treme, especially living in the Bay Area, where you rarely get a value for your money.  The quality of coaching remains phenomenal, the equipment pristine, and the community (both new and old) supportive and inspiring.  If someone were to ask why I believe this gym rains supreme, it would have to do with the modification component they pride themselves on.  No matter who you are and in what condition you may be in (regarding injury), you will be challenged in a way that will not aggravate your injury.   You see, I'm in my mid 40's and not as strong (or flexible) as my counterparts at the gym.  Neal and Tracy (the owners) always seem to find a modified workout that makes me feel a part of the WOD (Workout of the Day), without skimping on the intensity.  I can't thank them enough for what they have allowed me to achieve.  I highly recommend if you are in the market to consider a gym, give Crossfit X-treme a try.  It's definitely a place you can gain results.  I can honestly say that I've never left that gym after a workout in a bad mood, because it's always been nothing but good. CrossFit X-treme Athletics is a gym where you have the opportunity to exercise, learn, meet new people, and have fun. It is extremely well furnished, has ample equipment, and offers a schedule with a lot of options. The class programming and coaching is very strong and helps you to get great workouts while you’re constantly improving. I dropped into X-treme Athletics for three days for their CrossFit classes (while visiting the area). I can't say enough good things about this place! Tracey was very welcoming -- in fact, all the members were welcoming, encouraging and positive. If I lived here, this is where I would go for CrossFit Classes. CrossFit is a community, and I certainly felt that vibe from day 1. I had Neal Maddox as my coach for all three days. Wow! The Quality of coaching and instruction is excellent. I had a few lingering injuries, and they worked with me based on my ability - scaling the workouts as needed. The gym itself is very clean, it's well ventilated, and spacious. What's also pretty cool (literally) is that they have a Cryotherapy chamber, which is excellent for recovery. In fact, my daughter is attending sessions due to a torn meniscus. It's not just for injuries - it can help with just overall soreness. Overall, one of the best places I have ever dropped into for a CrossFit Class. Tracy & Richard were great to work with. I did their 6 weeks challenge and really enjoyed the support and encouragement I received from them. The meal plan is also a great perk although is completely self paced.  They are all about training safely.  The gym is clean and well furnished with equipment. Parking is free which is a plus! This place is amazing. I cannot thank this team enough! I've been coming here for nearly three years, since they opened at this location. My boyfriend just joined and he loves it. The team and community here are so inclusive, whether it be fitness level, adaptive physical abilities, and even with social differences. The workout is amazing because when I was new and was VERY out of shape, they modified the workouts so I could complete them and continue to get stronger. Now these days I'm doing things I never imagined. I trust them with training my boyfriend as well, who is brand new to CrossFit. He is a pre professional dancer and cannot risk injury. It is a safe way for him to build up his strength and conditioning. If you're new to fitness, or if your a professional athlete (yes we have members from the NFL) you'll have some great training and you'll be amazed with your improvements. The only thing you have to do is your best. You're going to have to work hard with the abilities you have.The moment I walked in on their opening day I had no clue what was going on. I saw balloons and walked in. There was a DJ, dogs, and people. I thought it was some crazy birthday party. Tracy invited me to workout with them and it was unlike anything I had done. I signed up on the spot and have been coming back ever since. I need breaks during the warm-ups for the first month. I wasn't able to use weights until the second month. Now I am doing things I never imagined. Plus I love how diverse this community is. Many different ethnicities, nationalities, sexual orientation, physical abilities, you name it! It's tough coaching but you can achieve your goals here if you give it all you got! Expect to work and expect to get results from the work you put in. You'll be shocked by what you can do. More...

A little background about me, I'm a pre-professional dancer in training and I needed to cross train to get stronger and more fit, a lot of my fellow dancers advised me not to do CrossFit because most places neglect proper form leading most people to injure themselves and aren't able to dance anymore but I still decided to do it because of the all the great things I heard about this particular gym. I signed up for the 6-week challenge which is coming in 3 days a week and adhering to a meal plan that the gym provides. I religiously followed this meal plan and went to every single class and you really do get what you put in and little more. I lost about 26 pounds. I started at 226 and now I'm down to 200 and it's such a drastic change like all my clothes are too big now. The coaches were extremely well trained and pushes us all to do our best all the time. The equipment in the gym is always super clean and feels like is all new. I thought that I wouldn't be able to do half the crazy stuff they do but now I wanna try it all! Not only has there been a shift in my body but also shift in mindset. All you really need (aside from gym membership) to have ready is a great attitude and a good work ethic. This gym has changed my life! I joined about a year ago because I wanted to try something new. The programming at X-treme is phenomenal; everyday is different and it pushes your body in ways you didn't think you could. Each workout has different skill levels so there is something for everyone. I had never done Crossfit when I first started, and was nervous. The coaches  put me at ease because they are always available to answer questions and to share their experiences. They are extremely knowledgeable and were able to modify the workouts for me until felt comfortable.  The other members are extremely welcoming, and I've enjoyed the sense of community and friendships that I have built both in and out of the gym.  This gym is family friendly; my husband and I are both members, often attending class together. They even offer a kids class a couple times a week as well.   The facility is super clean - probably the most clean gym I've ever been to. I would highly recommend this gym and the programming to anyone because I have seen results, feel stronger, notice increased energy levels and confidence in my day-to-day, and overall feel more well rounded. I've been a member of X-treme Athletics almost 3 years. They're extremely clean, all equipment is the best of the best, and all coaches are experienced and motivate and push you do be your best! In addition i've met some spectacular people that I hang out with outside of the gym, it's nice to find people that like to do similar things who have the same mission and goals and be able to celebrate it! The WODS "workout of the day" are always different (challenging) and there are always modifications available based on your ability. This CrossFit gym is so welcoming and inclusive for new members. It's comforting to go to a gym that is very clean and cares about form. They make sure you have correct form before upping the weight as they are serious about doing things correctly and the healthy way. They also coach us on our diets. Apart from that, Neal is very concerned about member's mobility. We stretch together as a group and often do agility drills. When I first decided to do the 6 week challenge I honestly had no idea what I was getting myself into. My first day was definitely one of the most intense workouts I have ever been through in my life. I've gone to regular gyms and had what I thought were good workouts but I had never been as sore as I was after my first day at Crossfit X-Treme. I will not lie part of me wanted to quit but everyone in the class was really supportive, encouraging me to push myself and now I have made through the first week and a day and I woke up this morning feeling extra refreshed. The anti-ego, judgment free atmosphere they create is just brilliant! Whether you are a beginner or an advanced athlete, there is something challenging and fun for you here. Love love love this gym! I’ve trained with X-treme for 6-7 years now and there’s no other way I like to get my fitness on. The trainers are very knowledgeable,experienced, and thorough with teaching us proper technique and form. I won’t go to any other Crossfit gym!

I was at X-treme for a year and I definitely recommend it for anyone looking to get stronger! The workouts are hard as heck and don't expect anyone to tolerate your excuses. Sometimes I get butterflies in my stomach before the workout because I know I'm going to feel like I died and resuscitated by the end of the workout. Some people may think that's crazy, but I love crossfit because I'm always pushing my limits and I can feel and see myself getting stronger. I remember when I couldn't pick up a bar and struggle to put the metal clamps on because I was so weak. Tracy and Ray are awesome coaches. Neal has pushed me when I thought it wasn't possible to add more weight. Ray and Tracy give you great feedback and are always looking to help you improve. Thank you, coaches. e group environment is great.  There are people of all shapes and sizes and the workouts are able to be completed by everyone (weights and reps generally differ on your level).The hour you spend here is compact, intense, and what you expect from a gym.  I have joined gyms in the past where you are left on your own to determine what you work on.  Neal and his team put together workouts each day and incorporate strength, stretching, and cardio....who would like air squats, wind sprints, and a few dumb bell moves would leave you with the "OMG" feeling.The people are nice and long term members are supportive and welcoming and above all...willing to help.  There have been multiple times where a move was new or I was unsure how to complete....either an instructor was there or a member waiting for the next class would help - awesome!No day is the same...but you feel as though you accomplished something at the end of each class.I started with the 6 week challenge.  I then continued  with three days a week.  Just cannot say enough things about this place or about finding crossfit.  I have lost weight.  Decisions of what I do during the day are better because I want to perform well in the workouts.  My wife has noticed I take my belt in a few notches.  I am much more active in kids' soccer and baseball practices.  My kids are not quite the age where they can join the kids program, but I am certainly entertaining the option of having them join to start learning how fitness can be a lot of fun, can become just part of what you do each day, and how it makes you feel better about yourself and can help you accomplish things you may not have felt you could.Keep up the great work!  I am surprised I stayed on and am surprised of how little changes can make such a big difference. I have been coming here almost a year now, starting with 2 six week challenges, then moving onto the 3 times a week membership & finally the unlimited membership in December and I wish I had done so sooner. The trainers here (Ray, Tracy & of course Neal, the owner) are really awesome and will modify workouts for injuries  so you can always get the most out of your time here, they also have an on site chiropractor. Also the environment is very friendly and everyone motivates one another.  All in all a great place to come get in shape and stay that way! More...

This Crossfit gym is amazing! I'm on week 4 of the challenge and I love it. The coaches and the owner are all phenomenal they really help you push through it and build up your strength and endurance. There was also a point where I had injured myself but the coach was able to still alter the workouts so I could continue coming to the class. Thank you Neal, Tracy and Ray! My experience with X-Treme Athletics has been nothing but awesome, awesome awesome! Being a former collegiate athlete and avid work out enthusiast I know a good work out and coach when I see one. Back in November, I found myself in a 6 month workout/lifestyle rut. A good friend of mind tagged me in X-Treme Athletic's instagram add for the women's 6 week challenge, and my interest was immediately sparked. I scheduled my interview with Tracy, met with her same day, and decided to take the plunge and go for it. After my first full week of the challenge, my muscles (although screaming bloody murder) were sweating joyous tears thanking me for bringing them to life again. Being in a group of 15+ women of all different levels, shapes and sizes I was curious to see how the coaches would make sure each person's fitness level needs were being met. All I have to say is WOW. Tracy and Neal truly customized the work outs to each individual, while keeping the energy high and motivation continually flowing. The work outs got progressively more challenging throughout the 6 weeks. My mental, physical, and emotional limits were pushed in a way that both invigorated me and made me hungry for more. LADIES - this challenge is worth every drop of sweat, every penny spent, and every time I cried knowing I had to squat to sit on the toilet (LOL). I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this challenge to women of ALL fitness levels. The unwavering support of the coaches, and encouraging female group atmosphere make this gym environment completely judgment free and progress focused. I absolutely love this box! Speaking as a Doctor of Chiropractic who specializes in athletes and military service men and women, I am very particular with Crossfit boxes due to reports of injuries etc. The trainers at X-treme Athletics are EXACTLY what I am looking for: a dedication and emphasis on doing the movement right. Let's face it, the only reason why an otherwise healthy individual would get injured while working out would be improper form.X-treme Athletics makes you take an "on-ramp" series of classes so that you can get up to par and learn the basic fundamentals before you even start racking on the weights. The trainer I have been working with is Ray. Apart from being an overall great guy and knowing his stuff.... he makes me feel comfortable and unintimidated while learning the different kinds of lifts. This is my third "box" I moved into. When I first started I was a nervous wreck because of the rumors of its intense training and crazy warm-ups before getting into an actual workout. I seriously made the best decision and went after the unknown. Neal's gym will give you results and I really like the disciplinary structure especially for those running late. The coaches at Xtreme Athletics definitely 5 stars (well in my book)- they're approachable and personal with great advices. I forgot to mention this box is very clean; unlike some boxes with chalk still on the pull-up bars, dirty floors, weights isn't wiped down and etc. I really like that the members at Xtreme are very mindful of the cleanliness.What do you have to lose? When I started training with Neal and Pete, I did not know what CrossFit was.  All I knew was that I needed to start moving. I called Neal and a few days later, I found myself at his gym.If someone had told me then that I would be jumping on boxes one day, I would not have believed them. I hated jumping! I still get anxious when I have to jump on the box, but I know I can do it! And I always have Coach Pete there to remind me that I can. Jumping rope was also a challenge for me. Now, I actually like it. Running, I still don't like, but I now know I can run a 5k without stopping. Whereas, when I started I could not run 400 meters without stopping many times.I had never worked with a barbell before. I had to start with a PVC pipe and work my way to the bar. And now, I get to put plates on the bar. =) In fact, I have grown to like the barbell. It makes me feel strong. I grew up playing sports but was never "good" at anything in particular. And as I got older, playing sports seemed to slip through my hands. I am sharing this because CrossFit has allowed me to be active again. It has allowed me to think of myself as an athlete. In fact, I played volleyball at my company picnic this year. Before going to CrossFit X-treme Athletics, I would not have even bothered trying.I have received criticism from people for doing CrossFit "at my age". And, I am only 43! (I started when I was 41.) The great thing about CrossFit is that you can do it at ANY age. I have the utmost respect for Neal and his attention to proper form. He and his coaches are there to push you but they also are trained to help you prevent injury. The coaches also help you realize that you can do things you did not think you could do. Coach Pete knows better than I, what I am capable of. I have learned to trust him and I continue to improve because of it. Coach Pete and Neal continually push me beyond my doubts. What I have learned over the last couple of years training at CrossFit X-treme Athletics has and is continuing to change my life. I have a confidence now that extends beyond the gym. More...

Ok So where do I begin? First off I never heard of Crossfit until my childhood friend and owner of Xtreme Athletics Neal Maddox told me that he has a new gym that he opened and to come in and get my butt back in shape again. So rewind to back in the day when Neal and I were in our teens and we use to go lift at Golds Gym on meridian this was over 20 years ago so I would have to say that I haven't worked out hard core in over 20 years so I was a scared to jump into something I never heard of before but I said to myself lets just go check it out I'm sure the trainers will go light on me? LoL     So I arrived and was greeted by my friend Neal and his trainer Pete! He was like this is Pete he will be training you tonight so we talked for a few minutes and then it was go time! Pete brought this plastic pole and a wall ball and we started working on the fundamentals of the barbell complexes I had no clue on what I was getting myself into because I was overweight weighing over 250lbs at the time and I could barely squat down, needless to say after that night I was not looking forward in coming back again because I was so fricken out of shape! but Neal called me the next day and asked me how I was feeling and I told him I never been more sore in my life lol he laughed then replied well get your butt back in today because this is just the beginning, so I went back for more and I never turned back and after 2 1/2 years I have lost over 50lbs and I am in probably in the best shape I've ever been in since the days of High school football. I will be 40 next year yes 40 yikes!!! LoL and I have  energy and muscles that I never had prior to joining Xtreme Athletics and I owe it all to my good friend Neal Maddox and my Trainers Ray, Pete, And Cheri for changing my life! I can't express how much you guys mean to me!       I just went in for a physical not to long ago and I was a lil bit scared because most of my family members have high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol etc so I took my physical and it came back normal it was a huge weight off my shoulders knowing that I'm in shape right now! And I owe it all to Neal, the training staff and my of course my Crossfit family for pushing me everyday and making it fun to be back in shape again! Been at this box for a month now, and I love it! I did the normal 5-6 days a week in a normal gym; I always felt like I wasn't  challenging myself. Sometimes I'd go home after 2 hours in a normal gym, and it would feel like a waste of time.  Soon as I stepped into Crossfit X-treme Athletics that ALL CHANGED. Everyday is a new challenge in the form of a W.O.D.(Work Out of the Day). Everybody there is encouraging, friendly, and accepting of new people. The coaches/trainers there are very knowledgeable and patient. When I didn't get a movement they took the time to help me individually, to correct my technique. The bathrooms are always clean, and everybody always cleans their sweat/mess up off the floor and equipment so that's never a problem. Also I see the staff there mop the floor at least every other day. The equipment at the box is all top notch; it looks right out of the CroosFit Games. All in all I couldn't ask for a better experience where I am. I know I am only going to go up from here. I love it! More...

X-Treme Crossfit Athletics is exactly as its name implies... Extreme!  If you are ready to get in the best shape of your life, then this is the place for you, but it will not be easy.  Owner/Trainer Neal Maddox pushes himself to the physical limit (maybe beyond) and he expects you to do the same.  The trainers will teach you all the proper forms and techniques then scale the WOD (workout of the day) to your ability.  Whatever your ability level, there is no reason to feel intimidated at this box (gym).  The trainers and members are very supportive.  I started out doing push-ups from my knees while others were doing handstand push-ups, yet I received just as much encouragement as anybody.   As you get stronger and faster, the WODs get harder and more technical.  It never gets easier!!!  I have been at X-Treme for just over a year... now I am doing handstand push-ups :) More...

Joining Neal's gym was the best decision I have made for my mind and body. I have really seen a positive change in my body: decrease in body fat, became more toned and muscular, stronger and faster. I look better than ever and couldn't be happier! Neal and Ray, both, do a great job keeping me motivated during class and pushing me to limits I never thought I could reach. Neal isn't in it to take your money and run, he is there right by your side making sure your form is correct and that you're pushing yourself to your fullest. Neal seeks to physically empower his clients and give them the confidence and self-esteem they need and/or want. The feeling after finishing your workout is unexplainable and priceless. Here is all you need to know: if you are serious about getting into shape, and I mean total body fitness, then this is the gym for you.I walked into X-Treme Athletics in July of 2010.  I was 37 years old, 6 foot 2 inches tall, and I weighed in at 300 pounds.  I ate what ever I felt like, and I split my time between sitting at a desk and sitting on a couch.  Today I am eating on a plan that I can live with day to day, and I weigh in at 225 pounds.  But it does not stop there.  In addition to the weight loss I am in the best physical shape of my life.  Neal trains for complete fitness: strength, agility, endurance, and most importantly: heart.  Working out with Neal I find myself pushing past limits I believed I could not cross.It has not been easy.  Neal will ask you to give your all when you are in the gym.  Half efforts and excuses are not accepted.  If you are serious about improving your fitness, and if you are willing to commit to do the work, there is no better place to train. I'm writing this review on behalf of my lil' sis, Hua, who does CrossFit five times a week and I guess Neal's workouts are so tough that she no longer has use of her fingers to type :DShe's been coming here since October 2010 and on her first day, she learned that CORN MAKES YOU FAT!!! So no more corn for her and she has since lost about 18lbs and 12% body fat!!! I'm telling you....she's looking H-O-T!!!She also offers to "carry" people at work. No joke...she once picked up our IT guy at work and he feared for his life but she didn't drop him!! Previous to joining X-treme Athletics, I had a dull routine I followed daily at the near by 24-hour Fitness. Thinking I was in shape, I had accepted a friend's invitation to X-treme Athletics. Entering the facility, I couldn't help but notice how clean and organized all the equipment was; not a single weight was left on the floor. Now before I continue, one must understand the unique style of fitness offered by X-treme Athletics.Firstly, X-treme Athletics is not a gym, this is an instructor lead training facility where clients are directed to specific training sessions that allow optimum personal training. Secondly, due to the high intensity of training, one must complete an assessment work out to analyze one's physical capability. Lastly, whether one's intensions are to burn fat or gain muscle, a BMI (Body Mass Index) measurement is taken in order for one to be given an engineered nutrition plan.As I wrote earlier, X-treme Athletics is not a gym, it's an instructor led training, essentially a coaching. And it's the coaching that differentiates the goals achieved in an ordinary gym to those that are achieved through X-treme Athletics.  The coaching offered enhances one's ability to push through mental barriers, resulting in one to endure more physical exercise.  Through coaching, one is pushed to extremes that one would never come near, allowing goals to be fulfilled and even surpassed.   As a member of X-treme Athletics I have surpassed many personal goals...goals that would have never been achieved through my own self willingness. I've been working out at X-treme Athletics for about 5 months now and i thought that i was in shape coming from working out five days a week at 24hour fitness, but i was wrong, Neal has been the best trainer and moral supporter i've ever had. He knows what he's doing and always has your best intrest and safety in mind. I've lost 20 lbs. and 8% body fat, i am in the best shape i've ever been and loving it. Joining X-Treme Athletics Cross has been hands down the greatest thing I have done for myself in my adult life!!!  Four months shy of my thirtieth I birthday I was in the worst shape of my life.  I had been hospitalized earlier in the year, lost 45 lbs (not in a good way) and when I got better I put the weight back on eating everything in sight.  I quickly passed my original weight and regained NONE of my strength from before my bout.  I wasn't in the best shape before all of this either. I was never a Gym Rat, I pretty much steered clear of them since I didn't really know how to work out.  Then Neal talked me into checking out his gym.  I have been going now for about a month and a half after 1 month I had lost 15 pounds and dropped 2% body fat, my arms, chest, and legs are larger and stronger, my GUT is smaller and my endurance in growing every week.  Neal's "cross fit" training is hard work but tons of fun too.  He will tailor your workouts to match your abilty, ANYONE can do it, trust me!  You will find all types of people training with Neal of varying abilities. You will find people there who will push you and people who will pull you but everyone is supportive.  As of right now, I have more energy, I'm healthier, I'm stronger, and enjoying a shirtless Summer (something I wouldn't have done just a 1.5 months ago)  I look forward to every class and I am well on my way to being in the best shape of my life for my 30th birthday!!!!  Thanks Neal!
