Epic stuff. Efficient and well run. A home away from home, and a hub of the community to all ages and many backgrounds. Never been? Try it out! A lesson or two and you'll be hooked. The kids are kept physically and socially fit by training to their utmost ability and learning alongside children of all ages. At 35yo with no martial arts experience I was full of trepidation walking through the doors to the WKJA. I needn't have been, from Sensei Eddie to the girls in the tuck shop everyone was so welcoming and it is such a great family environment. The training itself is always evolving and although challenging there is rarely a lesson when you don't come away feeling like you've accomplished something. I have now been at the club for nearly three years and I have made so many close friends and learnt so much. I can say no more really, this is my second family and I would recommend it to you all! I love visiting this gym. The dojo is excellent, with areas for all disciplines, they have recently added a weights room too.
It has a nice little shop/cafe where you can get hot/cold drinks and snacks to keep you going :)
The instructors and team there are lovely and always welcoming, it's a great place for all members of the family :)
