A really good set up there, having never picked up a guitar before I thought I may have been totally lost but i was made very welcome by Kit and he made me feel quite relaxed. After my first lesson (my daughter bought me some lessons for Christmas) I was loaned a guitar to try out at home and then bought a second hand guitar from them which is keeping me going till I decide when I am going to upgrade. The tutors are very patient and let me learn at my own pace although I do find the guitar frustrating at times I also find it very satisfying when a tune comes together. My 9 year old son has been with Kit and his team for close to six months now. Each instructor has had a great impact on him , teaching him with great ease. I started from scratch in January 2017 not having no musical knowledge whatsoever and having been given a guitar when I was 18. .. I'm now in my 40's. Both Megan and Joseph have been great coaches and a year or so on I've passed grade 1.

I know there are lots of online "lessions" and help but I know I would never of got to the level that I'm at or corrected some of the mistakes I was making and have avoided developing bad habits.

I would say the key to improving is to keep attending the lessons. Yes it can be quite challenging at times particularly if you are getting use to a new song or technique but the payoff is worth it.

There's no better way of blowing the cobwebs away at the end of a busy working day than having a blast on your guitar for half an hour. I hope you find this review useful and give Guitar Lessons Birmingham a try. More...

My son first started with guitar lessons excellently organised by Kit and Joseph and taught by Megan.
Megan is a wonderful teacher who instantly created a good relationship with my 7yr old son. On occasions I bring my nephew too who is also warmly welcomed.
My son then wanted to start piano lessons which to my delight was also available at this great school. Sylvia another superb teacher again made my son feel comfortable and he is also loving his piano lessons.
There are many other lessons on offer like drums and bass guitar.
I would definitely recommend this professionally run school for anybody wanting to be taught to play an instrument. More...
