How could l describe it, the tranquil nature of this place, the feeling of calm? The air of relaxation that encompasses as soon as l walked through the door. l will just say that l arrived for my Cranialsacral Therapy with Petra feeling optimistic from seeing the video of the therapy that the had sent me, making me aware of what would happen. After a very thorough consultation it was time for the treatment. It was so very relaxing, giving incredible warmth and a strange sense of everything is going to be ok. Certainly by the completition of the therapy l felt different, cannot explain how, except maybe to say that even with my eyes closed it seemed bright, like the sun had suddenly come out. This was my first treatment so just the beginning of the journey but the joy of this therapy and someone like Petra is that she saw things in me and explained things about me that l had been trying to explain for years. l am looking forward to my next visit. I have had a session with Tanyia for some Reiki and with Natalia for some holistic therapy. Both times I felt totally relaxed afterwards and any problem areas worked on felt much better. Following an exhausting couple of weeks, I felt quite unwell last Wednesday and was,in fact,ready to reluctantly call a rain check on the rest of the day. However I had a treatment with our new Sports Therapist, Tom Flynn. I had neither the time nor capacity to wonder what to expect, as my symptoms were more those of burn-out than a sports injury? Tom worked thoroughly, was careful about pressure/ comfort and I felt in safe hands during the treatment. After the treatment? I felt as though a huge cloud of tension had lifted. My muscles felt freer, more relaxed..and I promptly fell asleep for over an hour..then went on to enjoy a great night out with colleagues. I'd absolutely recommend Tom. NMT with Den, which has helped to loosen the tightness in my neck, shoulders and back and release tension and stress held in these areas. Crystal therapy with Liz, which released emotional stress and sadness that my body and energy had been holding onto for so long, as well as unblocking my chakras. Thank you to you both.
