What makes a great website?

Websites and online advertising campaigns are rapidly becoming the most effective way to connect with potential customers and great web design is key to helping you stand out online.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
How much will it cost? How long will it take? - These are the two most commonly asked questions!
Cost - This is all dependent on the project. We have startup packages already priced up so if you are new to it all then everything you see and that we agree on is clear. If its an overhaul of something thats already existing, then we need a brief in writing, an agreed schedule and an agreed price. Additional work will be charged additionally!
Time - When we take on a new project we can give a good estimate of timescales because we cover everything!! some projects are more complicated than others and this will be accounted for. We work with the client as a team so will expect your input too as part of the agreed schedule mentioned above in the Cost section. If you don't provide us with the info we need when we need it then the project will run over! Typical timescales are 6-8 weeks to FULL completion of a website / 3-4 weeks to FULL completion of a branding package / 3-4 weeks to FULL completion of and E-Commerce website (online store).
Describe your creative process.
Ideally I like to meet with the client face to face as I get a better feeling after i have met them of what type of personality they are and therefore what indeed they envisage the final outcome to be.
From the initial meeting i will go away and present a variety of ideas which the client can then choose from/mix and match from/pick apart so again we get a better understanding of what the final outcome will be. This again is taken away and the process is repeated until the client is completely happy!
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
We need ti have a brief, in writing of the work that is to be completed at an agreed price.
Information, Images and as much enthusiasm as possible will be put into the project. We like to work with the client as a team so they feel happy and confident to have their input at any time whilst moving the project forward whatever it may be.
What do you love most about your job?
I love that I can cover a broad range of Graphic Design medium from an initial logo design to a fully functioning online store! The skills at WOW Design are widely spread and have developed so much over the last 9 years whilst keeping up with the technological times and moving along with design trends.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had 2 children at a young age and whilst working at the time, I wasn't entitled to any help for childcare. I had always wanted to "be my own boss" so I decided (durning the recession) that the only way was up! I started working in the evenings and eventually built up enough credit to work during the day whilst the children were at nursery. As I was good at my job, the business snowballed and one customer came after another! I moved to larger premises and worked with a small team of trusted individuals who helped the business to grow to not only cover costs but to become profitable. It was the best thing i ever did!
Why should our clients choose you?
As a sole trader my rates are competitive but reasonable. I will work around the client and schedule work when needed. I have a fabulous portfolio of work covering design from all genre's so you really can see that anything is achievable.

WOW Design can design and apply car livery to your vehicle and with our digital layouts we can give you a sneak peek of how your company name will be showcased on your vehicle.
We take the car layout, apply the design on screen and forward it to you for approval. Once you are happy with the design, our livery team will visit you on site to fit your vehicle graphics. (The time this takes depends on the job at hand.)
There is NO car or van that we can not work with!
