Looks like most of the bad reviews are because of inattentive staff, but I didn't notice. Beer selection was large, food was great! I got the Mahi Mahi tacos and was impressed, the table also got one of the massive pretzels and it was soft and fluffy on the inside. The live music was a bit jarring, they were good but spent a long time warming up and then were so loud we couldn't hear each other / I felt the table vibrate. I was expecting more laid back vibes. Went here for the first time and had a pretty good experience. I ordered the IPA Salmon with mashed potatoes and broccoli. It was overall pretty good, good flavor, cooked well. The only thing was in my salmon there were a couple of small bones. Not too big of a deal, just unexpected. This place gets really crowded at night and when there's games going on. A nice spot for watching sports and drinking. I would recommend this place especially because they change menus at 3 so they have a good variety. They also have trivia every week. This was my second visit. Hubby and I tried bunch. The staff is friendly, seating available inside and out. We ordered the mimosas avocado toast and steak bowls for main course. The avocado toast was amazing. It could have used more avocado but the taste was on point. We loved the mimosas and if we didn't have other errands we would have ordered more! The steak bowls tasted good. The steak was well done.  I think they they have split a half of potato between my bowl and my husbands bowl because we were still hungry and potatoes are usually there as a filler- they hardly put any in the bowl. As I think about it the bowl looked too big for the amount of food in it... I guess that's another reason we didn't order more drinks.  I would go back but probably wouldn't order the steak bowls. I was impressed with my experience. So many different choices of beers from different countries. Never been to anything like it before. It was very helpful to have a little tablet on the table as a menu. I could scroll through all the different selections of beer and filter through what type I wanted. Their $3 margs are delicious too and had the right amount of tequila. I was confused that a person can't order more than one alcoholic drink at a time. We ordered the Margarita flatbread w/o the pesto, because my girlfriend is allergic to nuts. Lamont came out to double check with us about the allergy and offered suggestions. This place is pretty good! They have so many beers! Light, strong, sour, etc. And they're not too pricey either. I've been there during the day, when it's very quiet and chill. Also, going at night is pretty fun as well! It's lively and really active. There's also some fun games inside and outside as well. Another thing, IF you sit outside, smoking is pretty common. Visited World of Beer on 2/16/2019 for lunch. Hubs and I were sketchy about going since the most recent review from the last 30 days either were great or terrible. Luckily, our visit went well. We wandered in out of the cold and rain to learn via observation to seat ourselves. We were greeted within a few minutes that our server would come by soon. Ashley, our server, was happy to give me the low down hoe down on the menus. She was pleasant and observant during our entire meal to make sure we our needs were met. I did notice that someone decided the real succulent plants were perfect trash receptacles by leaving a wad of blue gum stuck to the plants. I mentioned it to a passing staff member who supremely irritated at other people's lack of care for real plants. The gum was removed by said staff member. Our meal was delivered shortly after that. Hubs ordered the Chimay Burger (medium with a bit of pink), sweet potato fries, and Appalachian Mt Porter. He said the burger was good, but needed some greens with it to help round out the burger. He also said it could have been cooked less as it was no longer pink inside as closer to medium well. Sweet potato fries were good. I ordered the BiBimBap bowl and an unsweet tea. The steak in the bowl was very good as it was tender and well marinated. The egg was done well also. My only con about the bowl was that it may have cooled off too much while waiting to come out. I was hoping it was a hot serving of rice, steak, and eggs. The carrots, cucumbers, kimchi (mild-medium spicy) and bowl were chilled/cool. Otherwise, the flavor is great. The unsweet tea had a odd medicine flavor after you swallow the tea. Kiddo had an order of the Mac n Cheese topped with bacon. She was ok with eating it, but easily distracted by all the sports shows on the TVs so her meal got cold fast. World of Beer is marked as a not kid friendly place, but had kid friendly seats like high chairs. I'm sure its a better kid friendly joint at lunch/during the day than during the evening. Our overall visit went well, but we may need to try different items like the Pretzel with beer cheese that we saw 3 tables over. With a rotation of 40 beers on tap, no one should get bored. More...

We stopped in to have a quick intermission before our movie. I am glad we went here tonight. The ambience was great and the live DJ and music was perfect. Our writer was good he took care of us. This is a great place to go out for drinks with friends or even with a date. The atmosphere is awesome, the layout of the restaurant is great. One of the few places that you can go that can be packed but not deafeningly loud. You aren't going to find a better selection of beer in the city. The food is alright, as far as pub food goes it's super decent. The pricing for food isn't the best but you're not going here for the food in the first place. More...

Hey Peyton - you rock!!!  Our entire party of 15 loved you!  Friendly, attentive, knowledgeable ... I could go on and on.
