My daughter had chronic underconfidence brought on by struggling with Maths at school, shes used to doing well at most subjects and had really enjoyed school but as they started to prepare her for secondary school and the subject the subject got harder she became withdrawn and reluctant to attend even though she enjoyed other subjects. When we got to the bottom of it, it was caused by falling behind in Maths and really affected her overall confidence. One term with WLZ and she was transformed, her joy in education was back.She started to tackle all her problems with gusto again and her whole mindset changed. After his GCSE mocks, my son was in a panic, he needed a Maths Grade B to do what he wanted at college but got a low C.

I take 3 Children for 1:1 on Mondays and 4 Children for 1:1 on Wednesdays from our School. All of the Children look forward to their sessions and are growing in self esteem and confidence as a result. Carys and her team of Tutors and Admin staff are professional, welcoming, dedicated and above all else, demonstrate an amazing sense of humour. I have attended several open days ran by the Worcester Leaning Zone, and have seen all the excited children having a wonderful time. They had the opportunity to take part in several activities including making sock puppets and treasure hunt, all with the help of the cheerful staff. I would highly recommend Worcester Learning Zone! It's a lovely place to be. Such a comfortable environment where supportive tutors and staff make you feel at ease from the moment you walk in the door. I'm starting a PGCE course in September and needed a little extra help to pass my QTS Numeracy Test. My tutor not only gave me some great hints and tips for quicker calculations, he also gave me a much needed boost in my confidence. my son had a great first tutor/getting to know you lesson with Tina . he has learning difficulties, special needs with asd traits , emotional attachment disorder and sensory processing difficulties so was a big thing for him to have a positive educational experience , which he doesnt get from his school unfortunately :) bit of Maths, numbers and a cushion fight and a very happy child who cant wait to go back next week .
