Woof 'n' Wag Dog Training

Went along with my partner & her french bulldog this morning I was very impressed with the trainer & the variety of activities in all the class was very relaxed but structured and fun! I would without doubt recommend !

georgie has such fun playing with the other puppies and we love the fact hes safe from the road. the trainers are fantastic with all the puppies and we ve noticed such improvements in just the 3 weeks we ve been going.

We took Charlie to an indoor puppy training and it was not a good experience and put us off. We had our first lesson with Tami yesterday and I am so glad I went. Charlie loved it and so did we! Just took my Saluki for some secure off lead exercise to Woof ‘n’ Wag! Rented the field for £6 for half an hour!! What a fantastic well kept field! ! Was our first time, and customer service was excellent. Was very kindly talked through booking and codes through text message. this is a super dog training school - focusing on the needs of each individual dog. Vicky and Tami are incredibly experienced and very friendly trainers who live a breathe dogs. What's even better is its a community interest company, so its very low cost to ensure everyone can access dog training. We have been taking our Frenchie (known stubborn breed) to Vicky for 4 years and he has thrived - he enjoys agility and is a wizz at searching. I've been training with Vicky for about a year now. What I like about Vicky's approach is that she wants you to get the best behaviour out of your dog for you and your situation, and the best out of your relationship with your dog. She makes training fun and let's face it its owner training not dog training. I started taking Dad training when I was a few months old with an indoor training school but the puppies were not interested in training their Mums and Dads and I had to put them in their place a few times. Unfortunately this meant that trainer didn’t take to me and gave me my first ASBO at 6-months old and expelled me.

Then I started taking Dad training with Vicky at an outdoor training class and we have been with her for 2 years. She understood me within a couple of training sessions and my sister who went training with me and is totally opposite to me in looks and character. Within a few months our class grew to 8 Mums and Dads being trained by various puppies and Jet who came with his younger sister, he is like our doggy dad to us and is able to do everything, if he chooses to. We have now all been together for nearly 2 years and we are all very different.

Vicky does not only train the basics with us but she also understands how each of us tick and has been able to work on our faults and our strengths with our Mums and Dads. She also works on training us so that we can keep them in line. Their faults are often translated to us and if they get it right then we will as well, not every trainer understands that, but Vicky does.

Vicky pre-plans the classes and makes sure that we are all interested in learning, my favourite is search and find even when she hides the search toys in the trees. She keeps us all interested and excited for the whole training class.

So all you puppies and doggies bring your Mums and Dads along to Woof & Wag Training and Vicky will make sure you all have some fun and go away having learnt something new each week. More...

I have been training with Vicky for a while now, with my Gsd Lexie, a rescue, I still have a way to go, as Vicky will tell you, but she has given me so much confidence and lexie has shown what a truly intelligent dog she is, Vicky has also taken on my problem child Bronson, a typical Akita, strong and stubborn, but Vicky isn't the slightest bit bothered by his antics, and he also is getting so much better, Vicky has the ability to also read you as well as your dog. A true gift. She is totally devoted to all the dogs that come into her care. Large, small, friendly, unfriendly, she just has so much time for each and every one of us and our fur babies. My other half and I have been taking our rescue Yoda to Vicky since we picked him up in May this year. The difference in him is amazing and his confidence has grown immensely.

Laura loves that it has given her more confidence in herself with him as he's her first dog. My only regret is that my work shifts mean I can't make as many sessions as I'd like to.
