DISGUSTING!
This company should be shut down for the way staff are threatened and verbally abused. The old owner with the same name should be prosecuted for the way he verbally abuses staff and gets away with it.
This company openly encourages discrimination towards individuals with mental health issues and has caused untold damage to current and past employees.
Absolutely appalling company to work for and I would advice anyone who has been treat terribly by this company to take them to an employment tribunal for justice like I have.

An emergency plumbing call for my 90 year old parents answered easily within 4 hours, initial problem identified and then a further major plumbing issue spotted and a solution identified for another tradesman to fix. On the 3 April 2019 Woods Building Maintenance were called out to my broken Central Heating Boiler the engineer arrived at the appointed time 10; 00hrs after traveling from Leeds to Scarborough and quickly identified the problem, a new part was needed which was supplied and he duly repaired the boiler. He then carried out the safety checks required and identified two futher problems which needed attention, they were not critical however he went to a local supplier purchased the items required (New Thermostat and Flue Gaurd) returned and fitted them. He again checked all was working as it should and then cleaned up after he had finished, he was pleasant and helpful throughout and it was a pleasure to see a job done well by a very helpfull engineer. Pressure on my mother’s boiler kept dropping very low. Called Woods and explained my sister was pregnant and looking after the house while Mum was away, bearing in mind how cold it’s been, we were booked in the same evening by the helpdesk staff. Very understanding and accommodating office staff. The engineer attended promptly and diagnosed the fault, ordered parts and came back the next day to fit. What inspired you to start your own business?
Woods Building Maintenance was created a few years back to provide homeowners with one company that cares for their gas boiler, electrics and plumbing. What that means to you is that we can replace your boiler, install a new radiator or even replace your electrics all with one company. Most can only do one of those.
As a family man, our founder knows what it’s like when you’ve got little ones and you’ve got heating and hot water problems. You take them for granted until they stop working.
That’s why we run a 24/7 service for our customers in Yorkshire & The Humber. We can respond fast and get an engineer out to you as soon as you need them. You don’t pay to call us out, we will just gibe you a quote to replace your boiler.
