The fact that this lovely organic café is always busy bears testament to it's quality. Lovely little independent cafe to sit and have a coffee. Interesting interior. Books to read. Friendly service with drinks served to your table. Hands down the best cafe in Stroud. Great coffee, friendly staff, amazing cakes. Organictastic goodness. The brownies are so good that my 5 year told me "We need to find the person who made these and take them home". Praise indeed.

A local gem in rough diamond guise, that I regularly visit at least once a week. Organic as well as vegetarian plus a great range of seriously good coffee to combine with gluten free cakes! If you're used to shopping from the 'Free From' supermarket aisle then this place is for you.They also run small group Vegetarian and Vegan cookery classes, many of which I have booked for and never been disappointed.How lucky is Stroud to have this place! Great place to eat. Hard to get a table sometimes but the ones outside are just as comfy! Would recommend their smoothies but there is often a longer than average wait but this is due to how good they taste so worth it.

Woodruffs has to be one of the loveliest cafes i have ever been to. I have a sever nut and seed allergy as well as being a vegetarian, and the staff have always catered for my dietary needs and have never made me feel like i was a nuisance. The cafe always has an extremely friendly atmosphere and i highly recommend the cafe to anybody new to the Stroud area and also to anyone with any special dietary requirements! More...
