Woodinville was seriously lacking on a cool bar to hang out at until the Cut Shop opened. Their outdoor back patio is awesome and it opens up to the bar inside. The music and 70s decor are right up my alley. Definitely does not have that stuffy Woodinville winery vibe. I’ll be back with my crew for sure. Killer spot guys! More...

If you're into good vibes, great music, and delicious food than this is the joint. You can tell a lot of heart and soul went into building this place up from what it once was. The menu is full of all your favorite comfort food favorites. I don't eat meat and even I bit my knuckle and said "DAMN, PORKCHOP!" when I saw a friend's plate come out. While you're kickin' back enjoying the best cocktail of your life, take some time to look around and absorb all the little hidden gems tucked around the bar and on the walls. Can't wait for warm nights out on the patio and by the fire pit. A+ job, ya'll! More...

This place is awesome. Super groovy bar in a great open air setting with thoughtful design touches throughout. (Think mid- century rustic modern) Charming and efficient wait staff. ..And the best deviled eggs! This place has something for everybody!
These people were not phoning it in with this one!

I could not have loved this place any more than I did. The decor took me back to places and people I love. The atmosphere perfect. The wait staff spot on. I live up the hill and cannot wait to make this my local spot. Thanks for coming to town and doing it right! More...

Love the feel of this place, so many creative details. Favorites items were the strawberry & sage shrub with vodka soda, jalapeño honey hushpuppies, the wedge salad and the chicken and dumplings. Family friendly, great vibe, good food and drinks- couldn’t ask for more!! So happy you’re in the neighborhood. More...

This place is like stepping into another world. A world I want to live in. The staff was very kind and the food was amazing especially for opening day at a brand new restaurant. Highly recommend eating and drinking here!! Burger and fries were just perfect. More...

We needed a place like this up this way! Awesome food, chill peeps, great place to grab a drink with friends but if you're solo, there's plenty of cool folks to meet and chat with at the bar. And that 70s vibe is totally kickass. Can't wait to see when the outside area is done!
If you are unsure of this way, go check it out! And if you're not, get out here!

Woodinville Cut Shop and Katy ,our kind and skilled wait person had the four at our table very happy to have ventured in this evening. The meals were generous and thoughtfully prepared. The decor is filled with surprise at each new glance around the corners. We will be looking forward to many trips back in the future. If all the waitstaff is as charming as Katy....Cut Shop is in for a long run in lil'ol Woodinville. More...

Roommate and I visited during their first operational week. The staff was a bit shaky and disheveled and the inventory in the kitchen was probably not quite what they needed, and I think this and an understaff condition resulted in slow service - but I expect weird stuff to happen when a restaurant first opens, so I really can't fault them for that. Beyond this, the food was quite good, and when they ran out of crab for the crab louie a replacement in the form of a crab cake actually did surprisingly well as a creative replacement. I also ordered my first professionally made harvey wallbanger - and...well, it was OK but I don't think a harvey wallbanger is going to be my go to in the bar.

Either way, I'm giving these guys five stars - because they have potential and a bit of polish will get them going really well. As long as they can get it together I think they'll do alright. It won't be a regular haunt - they're a bit out of my price range for a regular go to - but they're on my list of places to splurge. =)

My husband and I stopped in for lunch. My husband had the Colorado chili and said it was a bowl worth another, and another lol. I had the burger and I added cheese, and avocado. I will tell you the flavor in the meat itself was fantastic, one of those patties you could just eat without all the hoopla. We sat at the back of the restaurant by the open garage door, it was beautiful and what a great idea. We had a lunch companion by the name of Frankie who was adorable I love pups. :). He is welcome to sit with us anytime. We met the owner what a nice guy, we let him know we would be back for dinner when I got home from my trip. Thank you, you guys rocked it. More...

Thank you to The Cut Shop for accommodating my work product launch celebration. My rating is actually closer to a 4.5, but that’s not an option. Our table for 12 was ready to go upon arrival and initial order of appetizers and drinks were promptly taken. The only slight downside is the bar menu is different enough from the appetizer menu and not realizing that, there were a couple items we would have liked to have from the appetizer menu that weren’t available. The vibe was awesome and with it being a gorgeous sunny day, the patio doors were open and it was a great happy hour experience. The deviled eggs trio was by far our favorite (and we have tried many in the area). It did take a bit near the end to order last drinks and close out (a full staff meeting looks to have been taking place leaving only the bartender and cook).
We do though look forward to going again, especially with the lunch time opening up. This is going to be a great new option for our company/team celebrations. Glad to have you in the neighborhood!

This place is amazing. So often when checking out a new restaurant or bar, I leave feeling like they did the food well but the atmosphere was lacking, or the space felt cool but the food was shit and the bar menu was off the mark.

Not at all the case with the Cut Shop. The ambience is like nothing else you'll find in Seattle or anywhere else for that matter. The vibe is dialed in and the music is spot on, and consequently, I can see myself and my friends easily killing many a night bellied up to the bar or tucked into a booth, shooting the shit and settling in till closing time.

And that would honestly be enough - it's not exactly easy to find a place that I want to go back to on a regular basis - but add to that the fact that the bar has pretty much everything I want (and at a totally reasonable price), AND that the food is fucking delicious (try the pork chop)... I have no doubt that we'll be making our way back to the Cut Shop with some regularity.... especially once the sun comes out for a while so we can kick it out on the wrap-around patio.

I visited the Woodinville Cut Shop during its soft opening and was delighted with what I found.

Sweet decor with a rustic but elegant edge and a touch of the Gabe Johnson that we all know and love.

Succulent cocktails...I suggest a Harvey Wallbanger.

Tastey treats...the deviled eggs, gourmet cheeseburger, and chicken and dumplings were to die for.

Fun, family friendly atmosphere...I ran into an old friend and we saddled up to the bar for a meal together.

This place has all sorts of charm. I can’t wait to see what it’s like when summer is in full swing and the garage doors are open to the deck / patio. Oh and there’s a dance floor so there must be music coming at some point.

I’ve driven by this place many times in my 20 years in Seattle and it’s awesome to see that we’ve classed up the 98072 a bit.

It is obvious that a lot of love and creativity went into this place. This is not just a place for locals (lucky locals) but a destination for everyone. If this was closer to my home, it would be my home away from home...but since it’s a bit if a trek, it will be my favorite “get out of the city short trek escape.” The service, ambience, decor, deviled eggs, music...what more do ya need?! I echo the sentiments of another reviewer on here..the Cut Shop IS like stepping into another world..a retro, 70's world where everything is orange, brown, gold, laid back and fun. A refreshing change from the trend of subway tiled, industrial-type bistros that have become somewhat of a bore. Beyond the impressively designed space is a kick ass menu (chicken and dumplings for the WIN!), friendly staff and attentive owners. Perfect for large parties, is family friendly and I look forward to hangin on the patio in the summer and in the lounge to watch Seahawks games in Fall/Winter. Woodinville just got a whole lot cooler. My only complaint is really more of a regret- I didn't take a balloon when I left. Cuz I love balloons. A lot. Next time... More...

As I rolled up & parked I said to my date, "YES. Just like a roadhouse." She giggled. As we made our entrance I ignored the clown leering at me in the doorway. (Sorry, Cut Shop. I don't trust clowns.) Once inside the spaciousness & lighting began transporting me to a not-so-distant past when adults ruled my world. An 8-track player on display over there, a photo of Burt Reynolds & one of Sally Fields over here...vintage beer signs...one of those old-school fireplaces that look like it could eat me up...
we bellied up to the bar like adults would. Attention was prompt. I ordered an Old-Fashioned. A wise old drinker once told me you can gauge the caliber of a bar by its Old-Fashioned. "Whiskey or rye?" "Rye", said I. (Take note-Rittenhouse rye is their well rye. Splendid.) Minutes later it arrived with a sphere of ice about the size of a baby's fist to slow down dilution. Again, splendid. A top notch Old-Fashioned. My date claimed she tasted the stars in her Cascadian Disco Lady, a spin-off of an Italian Negroni. We'll be back. We reclined in our adult stools taking pleasure seriously while the ice made adult clinking sounds in our adult glasses.
By & by we placed our order. Wedge salad for an appetizer & the pork chop dinner. I don't even like blue cheese dressing but this salad & its dressing was superb. Our server, being vigilant & attentive, perfectly timed it bringing out our entree when we finished the salad. Conversation ceased at every table within 10 feet when our dinner was placed in front of us. Ok, that part wasn't true but good thing my date suggested we split the main course because there was enough hog to feed a small banana republic! Huge!
The chops & potatoes were soft & full-flavored (perhaps a few more potatoes, then again, maybe my date ate most of them without me noticing), the cabbage mellow, the baked apple sweet & submissive....
It felt right that night there at Cut Shop being adults. On our way out the door we felt the urge to lay down in front of the vintage autumn-colored fireplace & engage in more adult enterprises but instead slid into the seats of our automobile & made our way into the night.
We will return.

What a great addition to Woodinville's restaurant scene! Great atmosphere, service, food and just everything. Looking forward to trying out all the menu items and events they have.
