I used Woodgate & Co as a first time buyer purchasing a house in Portsmouth. They acted on my behalf for all conveyance tasks. My legal executive Linda helped me out every step of the way, being a FTB I was completely new to the purchase process. She explained to me everything that happens, what to expect, FTB government saving schemes, how to resolve issues etc. The response rate was excellent, with emails and calls being responded to in less than an hour 99% of the time. I also had the option to go into the office to talk face to face, drop off letters, sign paperwork etc. which was good as the office is local, easy to find and visiting in person speeds up the purchase cycle.Unfortunately, my first time buying experience was not the best, I had two properties collapse before finally completing on my third. This was in no way what so ever at fault of Woodgate & Co but was down to issued identified in surveys. On my third property, I was frustrated, so I asked Linda to act as fast as possible, and she did, purchasing a house in less than 5 weeks!The price was very affordable; my overall purchase took almost a year due to the collapsing of the other properties. I expected the final invoice for the services to be much higher than expected! I was pleasantly surprised that even though the firm had to invest much more time and effort into a property purchase than usual, the cost did not reflect that.Overall, I highly recommend using Woodgate & Co for all conveyance and any other legal services.
