We engaged Gavin, Sarah and team to help us build a country home. The project took four years from purchase of land to completion and ended up being bigger and more complex than we ever imagined.
Right from the start the Woodford team were responsive, engaged and focused on delivering a home that met our requirements. Most importantly they really cared about the project and, right to its conclusion, their attention to detail was second to none. They make a truly great team - with Gavin‘s focus on overall design and Sarah‘s interior expertise - they have helped us build and fit out a really awesome holiday home.
In any project of this size I will always be challenges and problems that arise. the Woodford team what excellent at Working through the challenges in partnership with us, making the project a pleasure rather than a burden.
We would recommend the Woodford team for any complex, unique or important project. They are consummate professionals and have delivered at the highest levels.

Having interviewed several architects in Cornwall, appointing Gavin Woodford was a no brainier. Having worked with several over the years, he shines through his energetic and enthusiastic approach such that it was always a joy to meet with him.
Professionally, his vast experience, attention to detail and design capability bowled us over. He nailed our 'West Indies style home that would look at home in Cornwall' at first pass, then proceeded with his extended team of professionals, to gain Planning approval also first time. His portfolio of work is exceptional.
Many in the building industry have commented to us on the superb design, and as our forever home we simply owe Woodford Architecture so much. Thank you Gavin, Dan and the delightful team.

Whilst professional, they are a friendly and enthusiastic team who have to date taken us through design stage, we have agreed consultants and they have liaised seamlessly with the planning authorities. When complex issues have arisen, they’ve found solutions. They communicate promptly and thoroughly, are efficient and enthusiastic. We found Woodford Architecture & Interiors very professional. We asked them to come up with a plan to renovate our 1980's built traditional villa in Portugal. Gavin & Sarah produced an excellent design, incorporating innovative features whilst retaining the integrity of the original structure and sympathetic to the surrounding architecture. Their attention to detail has been impressive, and they have expended considerable effort in liaising with consultants, builders & suppliers. When problems or queries have arisen during the work, they have responded promptly and effectively, including sourcing manufacturers of specialised material in Portugal and Spain. They have been delightful to deal with, as have all the staff at Woodford Architecture, who have uniformly been friendly and helpful. More...

We did a second storey modern timber clad extension on to a traditional 1930’s cottage in the south hams.
Gavin and Oliver were polite, understanding and inspiring.
Amazing concept design.
