Great pizza and fast service. We had the wood & Fire pizza and the fig & prosciutto pizza. Very flavorful and I would highly recommend it. Pinterest lead us in the right direction. More...
We had a delicious enjoyable evening at this establishment and to top it off our server Sarah was the cherry on the top. Thank you it's seldom you can have the whole experience in the world without a understanding that customer service is key More...
The food here is amazing. We love to share the antipasto salad, pizzas and eggplant stromboli. They also have unique pizza creations on special which are worth checking out. The cannolis for desert are a must. More...
This is a fun place west of i95, on Atlantic Avenue in Delray. The happy hour is lively and the pizza is delicious. The bar is jammed-packed. I rarely drive west of 95 for dining but in this instance it was tolerable. Older crowd. Great People Watching. Good Place to Hide? I ran into my married hairstylist from West Boynton who was sharing a cozy barstool with another man, not her husband, and when she saw us she almost fell off the stool. Awkward! More...
great food and good service
Good happy hour with good food choices. Good pizza. Metal Chairs are uncomfortable. Had a favorite of my partners escarole and beans. Try it you'll like it
We went for lunch and everything was perfect. From the Sangria to the Crab cakes. I highly recommend❤
Went there for lunch, everything was delicious from the specialty pizza , short rib ravioli to the sangria. Will definitely return !
Went for happy hour 7/29/19. Good drink prices and suppose to be $7.00 pizza mondays. When we got our check, i noticed the pizza was $10. I asked the bartender about it and he said, yes, suppose to be $7.00. So why the $10? There was no notice that it was a speical today, you just have to know. We are local and knew this, but if you are not, how many people are getting charged more because they dont know? This is the 2nd time this week we noticed this even at another place. Beware of your check before you pay. More...
The food was alright but the waitress seemed to be in a rush even though it wasnt too crowded.
Food is delicious. Service is great too. Best pizza and salad portions are incredible. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Dress is casual so no need to dress up. More...

I visited Wood & Fire for dinner, I ordered the Chicken Marsala and it was the best I ever had !!!
Awesome food, very cool atmosphere; service was great. Happy hour specials are amazing!
Love this place. Great service, amazing pizza.
I had a burger with cheese & grilled onion fries. Good overpriced at $16.
Good friend ly service and good food
Excellent food and service. Casual eclectic atmosphere. Drinks were delicious. I had the Orange Viper. Dinner was Braised Short Rib. No pictures. I was starving and forgot. Stop in you won't regret it. Bar servers were Amber and Emma. Great girls. More...
Great place. Steve, Mgr, does excellent job keeping tabs. Acoustics are not ok for conversation. Maybe some sound dampening would make more social. Ian Hunt. (Howdy from Tennessee)
Absolutely the best sangrias in Delray Beach and that’s just for starters. Well done Wood & Fire
Excellent everytime I go. Wings, salad and I pizza is a perfect meal.
Wife and I made our 3rd visit to Wood and Fire, as we eagerly consumed our 3-course meal and cocktails we came to the mutual realization that each and every visit has been fantastic!! This could easily be the best restaurant in Delray, Fl. and has maintained it's local charm, uber-friendly environment and humility. Every starter is delicious, but you will not find a better grilled octopus. The pappardelle bolognese w/fresh pasta is absolutely fantastic, anything that includes short ribs melts in your mouth and the flavors around the filet are just perfect. Finish with any dessert... and it completes a great meal at a fair value. In a selfish way I hope that Wood and Fire does not become too popular, but in fairness to them they have earned the accolades and everyone should take advantage. More...

Must have driven by this place a million x and finally gave it a try a few weeks ago.. Was shocked as to how cool looking the place is and the atmosphere. Really cool vibe. The menu is awesome and the food was much better than I thought it would be. Definitely my new go to place! More...
Great food and ambiance. We really like this place.
WOW. Lovely spot right in Delray. Italian selections available and absolutely deliciousI highly recommend
Delicious Pizza....with Figs, prosciutto and multiple cheeses. YUM! 1st time there and will be back!
I enjoyed the eggplant rolatini and mini cannoli. The wine and ginger ale were good too.
White Sangria is a must
Lively fun place with great casual service and delicious rustic food. One of my favorites in the area.
Good food, reasonable
Bomb Food & Staff!♡
Cozy and fast service.
We love this place!! Pizza is delish.
Saw their Monday night special on FB, $5 margaritas & $7 margarita pizza. Drinks were delish, & pizza was perfect, well done & super thin & crispy. Had their chopped Greek salad- delish & fresh. Kendall, was our server, & could not be more accommodating & nice! We will definitely be back! More...
The roasted pizza was great
Service was great, drinks were on point. Food was, well, wish it was better. My shrimp app on my first visit was nice and filling, but my chicken pizza had breaded chicken on it which frankly, ruined it. And boy! did I pay for it later...like pull over I gotta go!! LOL Oh, and extra Basil is an up charge, and that Cucumber Martini was like pure alcohol. Not complaining...just good to know. Cheers! More...
Been there twice now and it hasn't disappointed. The first time I was there I had the mushroom risotto, super yummy! The second time I had the chopped Greco salad, simply delicious. I could not finish it it was that big so I took half of it home. This salad is amazing, plenty of feta cheese, chopped tomatoes, peppers & plenty of black olives and drenched in a vinaigrette, so good. More...

Driven by numerous times and never stopped. This can become a new go-to spot easily. The entire place (and team of people) has a great vibe from the time you enter until you close the place down.

We live in Boynton Beach and have very high standards when it comes to Italian food. This was our best meal in quite some time. We ordered the margarita pizza, meatballs, arancini for starters and chicken Milanese, and the baked ravioli. All I can say is WOW! Order a side of the 4 cheese sauce to dip= AMAZING! Molly and Kate were great too!! Definitely a must try!!!!!! More...

Stopped in for salads and cocktails with friends. The food was very good and the server was great!
Had a great time and unbelievable dinner on the outside patio. We frequent the place for happy hour during the week and are always treated great by the bartenders and floor staff. One of the best Happy Hour in Delray in our opinion. Tried many items off the happy hour menu and dinner menu and every time is is unbelievable. The freshness and made from scratch menu makes it ttruly a great experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great meal or signature cocktail... We will definitely be back !!!! More...
Good food/atmosphere, had to think about this?(photo)
Great food and service
Great food and great service from a friendly professional staff. I have a service dog and the first question I was asked by my fantastic waitress was, " would you like me to bring a bowl of water out for your dog?"Then to top it all off, the food was outrageously delicious. Too bad there are only 5 stars to give! More...
Don't miss this one. Great appetizers
Simple yet very good pizza!!!
Honestly unique atmosphere and staff that make you feel immediately at home. Great food and fair billing. Definitely the best!
Always a great time, food and service are great. Go and enjoy
Awesome menu awesome location awesome food nothing but awesome here
Decent pizza. Nice margarita Monday discount ts.
Excellant service ,as well as probably the best salads I've eaten in Florida large fresh portions as well as unlimited refills at no extra cost on fountain drinks .The waiters continuously stop by the table to check if they can get you anything else even if they're not your waiter .We were there once inside for lunch and the second time we ate dinner outside which was wonderful since it was a beautiful evening and I must say also you never feel rushed after eating .We already stopped told the owner who was on the premises how much we enjoyed and are looking forward in returning as a regular client .PS if you like fresh salads I would recommend the beet salad I must say the beets in the salad were huge and delish and the hamburger that my husband had with fresh veggies ! We really enjoyed experience. Food was great and our service was excellent. Loved the thin crust pizza and the stuffed shells were fabulous.
Great food, good service, decent happy hour. We sat outside in the couched area with some amazing weather. There were a number of appetizers that caught my attention but we only had room for the artichoke dip and wings. The artichoke dip was great. I'm a sucker for chunky artichoke dip, and the pizza-toast points were great. The wings were good, but I was a bit bummed there were all drumsticks side from 2.Some of the cocktails were a little too sweet, but were great flavors. We had the Marble Ave and Grandma pizzas, great choices. Awesome spot! Great food and happy hour is on point!!!! On Friday 5-7pm, we sat outside on the couches all drinks on the menu are half off! How can you beat that, couched, Half off drinks and pizza! We ordered the marble pizza, grandma pizza, artichoke dip and sesame ginger wings. Everything is delicious. Definitely will be back. More...
Love this place. Giving 4 stars because the pizzas are really small. Delicious food! Always busy. Give it a shot!
I had the best pizza and salmon piccatta ever! The service was great! I was full but was told all the desserts were homemade so of course I had the cheesecake and my friend had the apple crostada. Yummy warm and served with salted caramel gelato. I can't wait to go back! More...
The food is excellent and we really enjoyed the outdoor dining. It is a busy & noisy place so if you're looking for quiet, this isn't the place for you.
Really good food. I order takeout so I can't say much about the servers. The pizza is par or better than Anthony's, which is very hard to beat.
Service was good and fast Food was very good
The food and beverages were excellent. We shared three meals-shrimp scampi, antipasto salad with chicken and a prosciutto/arugula pizza. Sara G was our server and she made excellent recommendations for our meals & the coconut lime mojitos on special for $5 each. Everything was very fresh. Very enjoyable meal. We also sat on the back patio and enjoyed the lovely weather. More...
Very good food and service
Very good food. Nice mix of pizzas and glat breads. I didnt love the pasta for the ravioli. More like a heavy grainy gnocchi than a nice egg pasta. Otherwise, food and service were great and they have a nice cocktail menu. More...

The Nutella Pizza is amazing. I would eat here again. This resturant exceeded my expectations.
Great bar and appetizers
Pizza was excellent, perfectly cooked.
Great Happy Hour. Pizza and antipasto were delicious. Good selection of wines and beers. A very pleasant atmosphere.
Awesome pizza and salads and pastas
good ambien & services
Finally - they have increased there menu choices!! It's been awhile since we have been here, and now we will return. When they first opened , the menu was limited and quite frankly not very good OR interesting . Now there not only better selections, but more interesting items on their menu . And that may explain why it is now packed - and not half full as it once was. Service excellent ! Food delicious ! Only disappointment was the cocktail glasses ! REALLY? I think we had $12 martinis in old fashioned champagne glasses ( all the rage now) barely 4 oz. and NOT even filled to the rim, More like a taste than an actual drink.if this changes - we would become regulars.Give it a try - but maybe skip the cocktail ! Ate their in the past. Service is always great. Food is well served. Ashley was a outstanding bartender. Keep it up.
Wood and Fire is our go to place for Happy Hour, dinner, and lunch. The Happy Hour drinks and food specials are the best around! Their dinner portions and quality of food never disappoint. We enjoy sitting outside enjoying the Florida weather and watching our favorite sports! The frosting on the cake is the great service especially from Monica and Sara. The owner and general manager make you feel like family! Give them a try and I guarantee you'll make this gem your go to place for excellent food and drinks! Just tell them Barb and Skip sent you. Great food! Everything we've ever had is tasty. Love their happy hour, but does get very crowded especially in "season". The ambiance is nice, Highly recommend! More...
This place is a fabulous area gem. The staff are friendly and professional. Service is exceptional and efficient. I never had to wait very long to be welcomed by a server. Once you place your order it is quickly delivered to your table whether it is drinks or food. The happy hour is terrific and a real bargain for drinks and appetizers (at the bar area only). My wife and I have been going there for a couple of years, sometimes three nights a week. The food is fabulous, both the appetizers and the entrees. Most of the dishes are prepared in two wood fired ovens. Both are visible from the dining area. The wings are fantastic as well as the eggplant and buratta appetizer. The entrees are huge. There are also daily specials. My wife had lunch here and she was impressed with the food and the value of the meal. The bar is open to the outside with seating at the bar both inside and out side. There is also outdoor seating in the front and back of the restaurant. It seems to me that a lot of customers bring their northern visitors here to impress them. Located in west Delray, Wood and Fire is giving east Delray some stiff competition. More...
Once again another fantastic meal and evening at firing wood love coming here with my girlfriend a nice waitress Jess just fantastic
Loved the Poppardelle BolanaisePizza good too..not the MargaritaOne though..just my opinion...I wanted a regular cheese pizzaThey gave me a hard time about changing it..but, they did after all.
This place is great...once you try their food and 1/2 price drinks(Happy Hour, all drinks!) you're hooked. A must try for sure...
Consistently delicious food and friendly professional service. The atmosphere is a bit noisy...so sit outside, if available, as it is actually quieter there. Their lasagna is out of this world! More...
Great local place, consistently good, excellent craft beer selections. Attentive ownership & service. Short Rib is second to none & I recommend the charred octopus appetizer. We're regulars on Friday nights.
I love this place! They have the best food. My favorite is their baked Eggplant Parmesan, but I also love their pastas & their salmon...yum!The atmosphere is also very cool, and you can sit outside as well if you like.Don't miss this place...it's a gem! More...

This is our 3rd visit to this awesome Delray staple. We live locally and being from NY were very skeptical as to all the great pizza reviews. We had the prosciutto pizza, the white pizza and the family size calzone. All were absolutely amazing and cooked perfectly. If your a pizza lover like our family you will appreciate the fresh, perfectly cooked pizzas and other entrees that are served here. Everything tasted like fresh cooked hot off the oven specialities. We will definitely be back here again and again. P.S. we would love to see a pepperoni drizzled with honey pizza. More...

One of my favorite local places to go, especially for happy hour. The bartenders make a great dirty martini. Love the thin crust pizza too! Can't wait to go back.
Add a delicious Caesar salad and a pizza with everything on it nothing better atmosphere is great especially when you're sitting outside
The chef, service and food at this place is out of this world! And their Happy Hour is like no other...HALF OFF OF ALL Drinks, not just the cheap ones!! And they don't give it to you in a smaller glass either (hate places that do that!). I am as Italian as they come, and have never eaten out Italian till this place. You MUST try it!! Some of my faves: Rice balls, Grandma Pizza, short rib ravioli and the Eggplant Stack. More...
Always a fun outing. Try something different each time. The wings are outstanding. They take and honor reservations.
Been going to Wood & Fire for two years now. The food and service are predictably nothing short of great every visit. The bar and wait staff are as friendly as it gets...more like eating/drinking at a friend's house in their backyard. Okay, so it does get noisy inside, but that's part of its charm; if you're out on a first date, suggest you eat outside in "the backyard" or sit at the outside bar. Manager is very hands on...sometimes you even see him help clearing tables. Menu has a varied selection of well-priced appetizers and entrees, and healthy salad options...always fresh. If you're reading this and you're an out-of-towner or just visiting Florida friends/family, just know we "locals" love to "hang" here.Lee More...

We have recommended this place to tons of people and they love it just as much as we do. If you want to avoid the crazy downtown atmosphere come here great food great people!!!Have been there several times since moving here in July. Really enjoy the different things on the menu. The apps are delicious have had most of them. Have had several of the pizzas as well favorite is the white and the four different ones together with olives, mushroom, prosciutto n artichokes. Service has been very good as well Justin has been our waiter twice and very attentive n professional. Large menu but all fresh options. The happy hour is a really nice deal but only available on high tops and couches which can mean a wait. The wood fired pizza comes out very fast, they only take seven minutes to cook. Their pizzas are light thin and crispy with a beautiful char. The pizza dough is what makes the pizza though, you can taste the sourdough fermentation. We tried the charred vegetables which i would recommend without the red bell peppers which were a bit overwhelming. I really enjoyed the rolled eggplant. It was perfectly crispy and paired with a wonderful sauce and fresh basil. The brussels sprouts are good if you like them very vinegary. Lastly the service was very nice even though it was busy. Very nice manager made sure everyone was taken care of. I do wish the waitresses would introduce themselves, we had two and neither told us their name. Nice selection of beers. More...
A five for happy hour pricing, environment and music. The staff seem generally happy as well, considering this area is the "newest borough of NYC" and I've seen quite a few grumpy patrons treat service staff as second class. The clientele is pretty regular and customers have seats at the bar like mean girls in high school, pretty nice folks however. The outdoor seating accommodated dogs, which as a dog lover, I am fond of. Managers seem to be quite good at building rapport with customers and they often recognize and acknowledge return guests. The pizza is good, it's not stuffy or pretentious and maybe you'll see a dog. More...
This is my very favorite place in all of Delray. I go at least once a week with friends and everyone always has a great time and loves the food. My favorite drink of choice is the Italian goddess and I dream about it I totally enjoy everything about this restaurant and will continue to keep going back every week to try something new. However I don't think I will alternate my Italian goddess LOL if you haven't been here you should absolutely put it on your list! definitely two thumbs up and 5 stars More...

What? A pizza place that offers gluten free options and they are delicious! The pizza at Wood and Fire is great. We are fans! Our personal favorite is the Arugula and pancetta but there are other great options. Make sure to check out the pizza specials for the day, too. We've enjoyed other items as well. Big fans of the Tri color salad! Amazing! But, if you like Italian, I'm sure toy can find something you will completely enjoy. Great happy hour specials and an always friendly staff. More...

This has some of the best pizza I've had! It comes out quick, and is delicious! The service is amazing, but since it's so amazing and popular it does get busy after 6pm, so get there before then. All the food I've tried is amazing! Definitely recommend! More...
My husband and I found this place on our last visit here. We had a very nice meal then so we went back this trip. It did not disappoint. Service was fast and our waiter was very nice. We had the Brussels sprouts appetizer that was very tasty. I ordered the snapper and my husband had fettuccine. Both were delicious. We will go back next visit and I have recommended this place to my mother in law who just gotten down for the winter. More...
Living in the area this has turned into one of my go to spots over the last year. While I feel like my last review was accurate, I cant help but notice the changes this place had made over the last few times I've come to really overhaul the experience. To start they have happy hour from 3-7 2 for 1 drinks and half priced apps and lower priced pizzas. All a really good deal. I always get the arancini to start (comes with this red dipping sauce that is the real highlight) and the marble ave pizza. It is a white pizza, cherry tomato, and fried chicken. If you're in the area and looking for a quick bite to eat it's hard to beat More...
Great happy hour spot. They offer a nice amount of small bites and cocktails. Their pizza and garlic cheese bread are always delicious and consistent. Only negative is that it can get quite loud inside and happy hour is only at the bar and high top tables that are not comfortable. More...
First time here and we will definitely be back ! We enjoyed our lunchCute, funky and tasteful decor. Fresh and delicious sandwiches and salads. Love, love love the fact their menu was creative and not the same sandwich or salad in just a different restaurant. More...
I live a half a mile away from Wood and Fire so I have been here for happy hour a bunch of times. All drinks are half off. They have a few different Moscow Mules that are all refreshing. I think I have tried almost everything on the happy hour food menu and you can't really go wrong. My favorite are the Italian rice balls (Arancini). I've always been able to easily get a table or a spot at the bar. Recommend checking it out More...
Nice large restaurant with outside patio for dining. We wanted to try some place new so we stopped in for lunch. They serve pizzas, paninis and lunch specials. About ten lunch specials served with either French fries, Caesar salad or a cup of soup of the day.My wife and I opted for the soup which was pasta fasiol. It was loaded with beans and round pasta. It was creamy and very tasty though I needed to add salt and freshly ground black pepper. For the main course, we both opted for the chicken parmesan. It was very good. The chicken breasts were not soggy. Cooked perfectly. Two large breasts loaded and topped with mozzarella cheese. Served with a large portion of spaghetti. One negative.....the pomodoro sauce was not tasty despite being loaded with chopped tomatoes. It was missing something...possibly fresh garlic and olive oil, possibly some fresh basil. A little sugar might have done the trick. Sugar cuts down on the acidity of the sauce.Nevertheless, I enjoyed the lunch very much and I would definitely come back.Next time, I would like to try the eggplant parmesan. It does not come with pasta according to the waiter as it is served in it's own large cooking vessel. We washed it all down with diet sodas as if the diet soda would cancel out the calories...lol.Service was excellent despite it being quite busy in the afternoon.Restaurant is super clean including the restrooms. Signs on restroom door are non wood and wood as opposed to men and women. If you have a brain, you can figure out which one you should use ....I won't go into details....if you get my drift.Perfect place for a date or everyday lunch. More...
Started with the buffalo chicken pizza. Full flavor, spicy but not to spicy. Sat at the bar, service was great. Especially since coming in an hour before closing. Had the lasagna. Very tasty. Hard dish to do wrong but they did it right! More...
My boyfriend & I love this spot! First I have to say we typically sit at the bar especially when Elle is back there! She is the kindest & most efficient bartender in the place! This girl is always moving, we call her the hardest working bartender in Delray! Next, the place has a really great look...it's a rustic/warehouse style. They have a really nice happy hour with lots of options for food. We love the sausage & beans, rice balls & meatballs. You must try the antipasto salad! To die for! Chicken Milanese, Ravioli with short rib, lasagne, & carbonara are some of our favorites! Oh & don't forget the authentic Alla vodka, it's not your typically pink sauce... As for dessert, they have the best tiramisu I've ever had! I can't say enough positive about this place! More...
Now I understand why this restaurant is packed each night. Lasagna calzone was unreal.
Pretty impressive! Came for happy hour Friday night and got an app. Took a while to get seats since the place was packed. However we got drinks while we waited. All bartenders seemed to be sweet. They had a happy hour appetizer menu that was discounted but we ended up ordering the mixto after 7. Calamari was good. I got a top shelf margarita for $6 which is cheap!! As a person in the biz myself I was impressed on how hands on management were. They jumped in to help clear tables and connect a new beer keg. I was blown away with the service! The bartenders even disinfected the bar tops with disinfecting wipes when we first sat down. All around top notch and we look forward to returning sometime soon. More...
Great food and great service! The atmosphere is good, casual. It's a little bit loud in the restaurant but not a big deal.
Love this place me and my boyfriend always order out here (we've never dinned in) but a staple to get is the mussels SOO good love dipping the garlic bread in the white sauce. We also always get the chicken parm with angel hair super good. Love eating here the wings and pizza are also really good. For sure recommending this to my friends in the area! More...
My husband and I have been there twice and both times they exceeded our expectations. The pasta carbonara was great and the pork chop and risotto (dinner special) was outstanding. Pork very tender and has that wood-fired grilled taste. I got the pizza on our first visit. It was great, but I'm partial to the beet salad w/grilled octopus. The goat cheese, apples and salad mixture was so good! The portions are more than fair. Each visit we took home doggie bags. Wednesday's are 1/2 off bottles of wine with a great selection. It's a little loud for a family with children but they do have a children's menu of pasta, mac and cheese, chicken fingers, etc. The service is outstanding. Our latest visit we had Joe. He was so genuine and shared his favorites (which we will have at our next visit). Thumbs up on this place!! More...
Laurie and I came tonight to test for a possible function. The apps, main course and drinks fantastic. Not only will we recommend this for the function, it will be on our regular rotation.

Awesome happy hour! The HH had inexpensive beer, wine and cocktails along with a great food selection. I met a girlfriend here after work and while it is more casual, it's a very nice place the staff was very friendly and attentive. The Brussels sprouts and risotto balls were delish, and of course the pizza we had was tasty too. There's a nice outdoor area but you can hear the traffic on Atlantic. More...
I was having lunch with three friends recently. One person ordered the Lunch Burger with Fries ($12). It was a nice sized burger, cooked as requested, and he liked both the burger and fries. Another friend ordered the Classico Pizza ($9). It was approximately 10 inches with thin crust. He liked it. I ordered the Atlantic Ave Pizza ($16) with extra sauce. It was a white pizza (before the sauce, which cost $2) with Sausage, Broccoli Rabe, and Sun Dried Tomatoes. The pizza had a vinegary taste because they marinated the broccoli rabe. I ate two pieces of the six and left the rest. Since everyone was finished when I told the waitress that I did not like the pizza, I did not take the rest home. The restaurant offered to give me another entrée but I declined. They did offer me a free pizza if I returned to the restaurant. I took them up on the offer for a Classico Pizza, which my wife and I enjoyed. We also had a very good salad. They even offered a free dessert whenever we wanted one. More...
I really do like the food, but I have been here twice and got explosive diarrhea both times. I had the wings & chicken parm on my first visit and the wings & ravioli on the second. It's close to my house so I'll probably give it a third try before giving up. More...
Great choice for a pizza place. Friendly service too. I highly recommend the homemade pastas and the pizzas. They have cannoli and tiramisu. Great place for lunch or dinner right in the neighborhood. Weekends are very busy. They have Monday night specials during the summer $5 margherita cocktails and $7 Margherita pizza. Great homemade food that I guarantee Italians will also enjoy. I was impressed. Food is not overly seasoned or salted!! Always a plus. Fresh basil also a plus. We will definitely return with a large party. More...
Great spot for HH and they've done a really nice job with the space. For an area that's lacking, this place certainly gives a great vibe and brings innovative dishes with their specials. Solid choice if you don't want to deal with the Downtown traffic of Atlantic Ave. More...
We had a reservation to sit inside because the weather wasn't looking great. I met my friend at the restaurant and we were seated immediately. So far so good or so we thought.I don't enjoy noisy restaurants and this place is loud. Between the music and the packed dining room, it was difficult to talk without raising our voices. To add fuel to the fire, there were a bunch of kids making a ruckus. I don't know but shouldn't parents "shush" their children in a restaurant? Since I do not have children who am I to judge? For this reason alone, I would NOT suggest this restaurant for date night~unless you have no desire to engage in any type of meaningful conversation. The noise factor was one of the two cons; we still wound up enjoying our dinner despite all of the noise. The second con is the fact the metal chairs have no cushions and they are really so uncomfortable. The outside is super cute with two comfy sitting areas complete with couches to sit back and relax. Next time if the weather is nice I would like to dine outside on the patio where it's not as noisy. Let's be real, sitting on a couch is much more comfortable than sitting on a metal chair without any cushions. Comfort is key.Service was attentive without being pushy or smothering. The servers were busy but they were hustling to take care of everyone. Excellent service. The food was good! I am so picky about pizza & so is my girlfriend (we are both from NY; so what do you expect)? We stayed away from the pizza and we shared a few different things. What we ordered:Caesar Salad- very good.Brussel Sprouts- delicious.Wood Fired Mussels- great.Rigatoni Pesto & shrimp- good.We passed on dessert because we both were so full. The brussel sprouts were absolutely my favorite dish.Happy Hour is supposed to be awesome, on Tuesday all take out is discounted and every Wednesday bottles of wine are 1/2 off-all day and night.I would love to come back and dine outside on the patio and enjoy a quiet and comfortable meal with friends. Maybe when it cools off a bit and it's not so hot. The prices are okay and parking is plentiful. Casual place so casual attire is fine. Located on the north side of Atlantic Ave between Military Trail and Jog Road. More...
Love this place, had some of the best meatballs I have ever eaten. The pizzas use the freshest ingredients and the pastas are great. This is definitely a staple for the family as we have gone there often. I have also taken groups of 15 or more and we all had great food and service. It does get a little loud inside so be prepared, but the food and price are outstanding. More...
Come here all the time. Staff is friendly. Managers are always walking around and helping where needed, checking on customers, etc. Great happy hour and ambiance. The food is always solid. This place is way better than any spot east on the ave and parking is no problem. More...
We went to Wood and Fire today for lunch and had a great time. Adelina was our server and she did a superb job and didn't even get mad when my baby daughter spilled sauce everywhere. I lived in Italy when I younger and there are very few restaurants I've been too that replicated the quality of pizza I had there and this is one of them. I highly recommend this place and look forward to eating here again. More...
Great wood fire pizzas - server was confident , familiar with the menu and brought out food right away . Restaurant was very busy .
The most delicious food in Delray. Giant portions. Love the Clam appetizer & Brussel Sprouts. You gotta come for the Broccoli Raub pasta & their pizza. I bring all my out of town guests here and they love it!! More...
What an amazing dinner with my favorite girlfriends! I drive from Tampa,fl and this was on our hit list for dinner we enjoyed the food atmosphere and Deen was Ah-mazing thank you for a wonderful girls night out!!!
So this is an awesome spot! The happy hour is half off all drinks and has a select menu- and that's the reason why we went! We had meatballs, wings, fried ravioli and lets discuss the garlic bread it's a MUST! The service was absolutely amazing- just the right amount of attention. There was so much fun to be had on the happy hour menu alone and a fun hangout spot with both indoor and outdoor seating available. Just be warned that if you do want the happy hour it is only at the bar and high tops. Other than that, I cannot wait to try the regular menu and see what that is like. This spot is a must- you will not be disappointed! More...
Service and food on point happy hour and daily food and drink specials are fun. The only complaint we have is wish the bar was bigger.
Good happy hour and atmosphere, Had the goat cheese and beet salad which was excellent, pizza was good, would definitely come back and try more stuff
First time here! The food was great and so was the service! Sat in the patio and my server was Darren. He's was very attentive throughout the whole evening and had great customer service skills. I had the arancinis, octopus and wings. The arancinis were amazing More...
We love this place. Service is good. PiZza is good and the their Mac and Cheese is beyond delicious!! I recommend this place. No doubt.
My sister and I are in from New York visiting our parents. We ate at this bustling, popular establishment last night and were pleasantly surprised by the service, the food and the selection of tasty dishes available to order. We were seated immediately (indoors) and greeted by our server Darrell. His courteous service and pleasant disposition enriched our experience at this wonderful establishment. We started with a Margherita Pizza as an appetizer for the table. The crust was thin and crispy and the cheese was just like New York! So delicious and enjoyed by our family. The mussels were plentiful and my sister ate them with gusto! The pasta dishes were out of this world (the sausage was incredible and the bolognese was just like my grandmothers). I ordered the salmon which was cooked to perfection with sides of artichokes and peppers and the most tasty fingerling potato. The place was crowded and had a good vibe - lots of age groups and a bar that was packed with people. The staff was attentive and brought out food from the kitchen swiftly and efficiently. This dining venue is run smoothly and the owner/manager(?) made sure everything was great throughout our meal. This place is a home run! Whether going for appetizers, cocktails or a full dining experience, the food, service and courteous staff makes this place a winner!!! The four mini cannolis we ordered for dessert was the icing on the cake. Freshly filled, delicious with a hint of orange zest, made these fine pastries a don't miss attraction. Excellent food, excellent service and a wide variety of food to order has made this one of my favorites in the Delray Beach area. Don't miss this one! More...
Service is great and the chicken panni is soooo good. Fries are awesome 2. Perfect seasoning
I must have driven past this place a dozen times and never noticed its existence. They must not have a large social media presence? I'm not sure what it is. My friend had a coupon, so we came last night to split dinner. We got a pizza, pasta, a meatball appetizer, and they got a decent amount of wine. Our $85 bill was then brought down $20 because of the coupon, so I can't complain about that. The meatballs were a little peculiar. I was expecting beef, but we got something resembling chicken, pork or turkey. I'm not sure what, but they tasted okay. The penne alla vodka was pretty good. The show stealer was the pizza. It was SO good. It was the picante pizza with spicy sopressata and hot honey. I could've just made a meal of that. It was a cute little place set an odd strip mall. I don't know if I would've noticed it on my own. I'd return for that pizza and their happy hour. More...
Amazing food and atmosphere!!! Love coming in for a great meal and delicious cocktails! Highly recommend for those in West Delray!!!
I love this place! Great happy hour prices. Delicious pub fare. Servers and bartenders are always friendly. Plenty of seating indoors and out. Outdoor seating off the bar has couches and high and low tables. It's lively and friendly. From young adults to seniors all having fun. Another outdoor patio in the back if you like things quieter. Lots of parking. What could be better? More...

What a fun place to go. We went on a Sunday afternoon and sat outside on the couches -if you sit there , there are many happy hour specials you can have for food and drink! I really enjoyed my food - I ordered a green salad with shrimp (custom made my dish - although my dish was a bit pricey compared to the rest of the menu $19 - I thought it would be around $15), and my friends ordered truffle fries, fried ravioli, margherita pizza, beer, pasta and more salad! Everyone was happy. The bathrooms were a hoot-try figuring out which one to go use!! LOL. I would definitely go back! More...

We had such a great evening, our second time at Wood & Fire in Delray Beach. We look forward to many more. Friday nights, a live DJ plays and people start dancing on the patio. The pizza is fresh and flavorful, especially the Margherita with fresh basil. Pizza, beer, and wine are discounted, and the dancing is free. We were there for our favorite DJ Karin Ward, on first Fridays each month, 9pm til midnight. The service was excellent, atmosphere relaxed, ambience happy and very friendly. It makes you feel good just to be there. It's on Atlantic Ave, but avoids the downtown crush. Wood & Fire makes it's own neighborhood party! So glad we found it! More...
Edit: love that they have live music on Friday's and Saturday's now! The food is still unbelievably tasty, the service is always quick and friendly, and you can't beat the atmosphere. The location is perfect, easy to get to, and none of the stress of trying to park downtown. We've been here a few times, and the food is ALWAYS amazing! Try the baked ravioli with braised short rib... you'll thank me later ;) The bartenders are very knowledgeable and the waitstaff is attentive and friendly. More...
We had a extremely large group there Friday night. All of the feedback that I got was that the food was great. Drink prices were reasonable for happy hour. There were enough servers to keep the group not waiting. We had plenty of reserved seating too! We all sat on the patio and listened to DJ Karen Ward and danced the night away outside. This was a great venue for our group and our 80 or so people were impressed! Thank you to John-Manager and Freddie-owner and all of the bartenders and servers for taking well care of us. We loved the location and that there is plenty of parking and that there was music/dancing. Keep it up we will be back for sure! Kudos!! More...
This restaurant is extremely busy and good. If you want to hear what your neighbor is saying you better sit outside. This is quite the hotspot for Delray! The homemade pasta is excellent, highly recommend it. It's great to find a local place that not all the way downtown in Delray and has such good food. More...
Cool DJ when i was there on a friday night! Perfect ambience to celebrate your birthday! Food was good!
On a busy Valentine's Day evening, we called ahead on the chance of getting a reservation. No reservations available, the hostess replied, but we do everything we can to accommodate diners. We arrived at 615pm and though they were very busy, only had a few minutes wait till they set a table for us on the back dining patio. Our server Alexis was prompt, personable, had good knowledge of the menu. Our garlic mussels, rib eye steaks, eggplant parmesan, and pizza were all excellently prepared and presented. And the desserts, out of this world! We were warmed by the propane heater, wowed by the food, and can't wait to return next week for another meal. Thank you, Wood and Fire! More...

This is my favorite Italian restaurant! There is not a negative thing I could say about it. I have dined here a half a dozen times. I love the atmosphere, the food, the drinks and the service is always excellent. I've had the pizza (not salty), the sausage and beans, A huge delicious and fresh salad etc. There is a very large menu to choose from and also a happy hour menu. I am so happy that there's finally an authentic Italian restaurant in my area! More...
I ordered the Caesar salad, grandma's pizza, and margherita pizza. All were delicious and came quickly. Awesome atmosphere and sitting outside on couches was great with my family. Looking forward to coming again
Some of the best wings I've ever had. They serve them suckers HOT and I mean HOT. I had to put them on a second plate just to cool off for a minute. I got the Picante Wings and they were perfect. The place is on the upscale side and you'll find your fair share of snow birds but the place is cool. They have a nice bar area and the place is pretty open seating and they also have a nice covered outdoor seating area. The service was good and fast. More...
2nd time here... had the linguine and clams, it was AWSOME, tried their Ala vodka tonight, added sausage Very good.. Pizza next visit, fun place
We held a neighborhood get together on a Saturday night at Wood & Fire. It was great. We had a budget we needed to stay within and Dean worked with us until we got it just right for us. The rain was awful - but the patio mainly stayed dry and we all enjoyed the evening. The pizzas were wonderful - the wings everyone raved about - the meatballs we all enjoyed and the Brussel sprouts were some of the best ever ! Dean assigned our party of 38 two wait staff - Sara and Carolina - and they did not disappoint. Everything was cooked to perfection, came out in a timely manner and was handled from beginning to end professionally. We will return !! Thanks again to the entire staff at Wood & Fire - it was great !! Cyndi J Boynton Beach Florida More...
We like this place. It's close by and the staff is very accommodating. Unfortunately we had a bad night there on Sunday November 5th. Don't know why, by the time we got there at 8 ish it was not crazy busy. Our server seem confused with my drink, the cessation salad was drowning in dressing ( which typically is delicious) the Frito Misto was fried in yesterday's oil (so it seemed) and the Bucatini pasta special was hot on the pasta cold on the chicken turkey meatballs. HOWEVER this is not usual for this eatery. We have had great experiences there and will definitely return. Just goes to show you that it's possible for everyone to have a bad night. More...
Love the pizza here for pick up also has a good variety of food and drinks at happy hour. Would recommend.
Wow! You're almost hesitant to leave a great review cuz once the word gets out you won't be able to get in!! The grilled shrimp panzanella salad was amazing. And the veal piccata was way better than expected. Kudos to the chef!! We will definitely be back. Special shout out to Christina, friendly awesome bartender!! More...

Pizza. No B.S.THIN, DELISH. too hot to eat heavy pasta which our waitress confirmed was that all of the pastas are heavy. Kids portion solid, drink served in mason jars which are fun and potent. We are sitting outside and it is lovely. Apparently bar scene is the place to be and happy hour is half price drinks and I believe specials on bar food. I'll tell you it is 7:28 and the bar area has cleared out. I guess the crowd has taken advantage of the specials. Very attentive management - waitress I'll give a B+ as a grade. I would take pictures but it's too obvious if I do. I've been wanting to come here forever as the Carbonaro on Instagram looks absolutely insane. I will have that when the weather cools down a bit. It's a family restaurant but there's no families here. Everybody seems to be in their 70s which is okay but that's not exactly where we are at. Verdict is: I like it and I'll be back. *****So here's the deal. 15 minutes later we are done eating our meal and busboy came over and cleared the plates off of our table. Our table is still filthy- there is arugula all over the place yet I am not taking a point away. It's still a solid 4 at this restaurant. We asked for dessert menu and apparently on the other side of the dessert menu are specials which we were never given. Another negative is that I was given a small bread plate to eat my pizza with and when I had asked for another plate when the pizza was placed down I was given two more small nread plates. maybe they were thinking my son would have pizza which was considerate yet he had a child's pasta dish. I like it but little quirks like that get me nuts. Hostess is great. No biggie, i look forward to eating there SOON AGAIN. VERY SOON.i am going to get this restaurant to a 5 star..... More...
Excellent, EXCELLENT service and food. Started off with the mini wood fired veal meatballs which were to die for, followed by a charred veggie pizza, spaghetti carbonara and the baked ravioli, AMAZING!!!!! Honestly this place is one of my favorite places in delray! They have a location in New York and it's one of my fave places so why not try this location? There's tons of parking too as opposed to going to eat on the strip. We got here just in time. The entire place was packed from the moment we got in and luckily there was one table available. My favorite was the mussels(omg), I just got back from eating mussels in the south of France and these are seriously the best creamy brothy mussels I've had! The sauce was the perfect amount of sweet, savory, brothy and creamy. Spiced and salted to perfection! The clams in an almost arrabiata sauce with a spicy chorizo that my mom was going crazy for. That was a red sauce to dip our olive oil soaked crusted garlic bread into. The wood fired octopus!!!! Succulent and tender! So delicious. Then the rice balls!!! Both sauces were so unique and necessary to compliment the deliciousness these little balls of carb, cheesy and moist delectables had to offer. The pizza crust from our delicious wood fired personal pizzas was used to soak up the sauces from all of our seafood. The place is has a great vibe and there are lots of tv's to watch your favorite sports. This place is my new favorite restaurant and I cannot wait to come again. Don't forget to say hello to Freddy who is the sweetest!! More...
We just added this place to our regular rotation for a places to eat at n West Delray. It is better than Anthony's Coal Fire for its pizza (we ordered a sausage and cheese) . The mini meatball appetizer was good but could have been topped with ricotta. We also shared a house salad which was delicious. All that for $50....not bad. They also have Italian plates that we will try next time. We will be back! More...
Great place They need to ease back on the salt in their pizzasDon't order the (or any ) pasta , very mushy (a bit pricey )This place is cool for a nice wood fire pizza and some drinks Not entrees Overall it's gets a 7 out of 10 for me
Ima a west Delray guy finally something close to military and west Atlantic that is cool, youngish and good food! Victor the bar tender is uber nice and the open atmosphere gives me life! Now if they expand the Sunday menu to be a southern flair with biscuits etc Ima live there! There is a big gap here for that since Fat Rooster changed it menu last year. More...
I had heard good things about Wood and Fire and was looking for something different that was close by. I was very impressed with the service, atmosphere, and definitely the food. Nice fresh thin crust pizza that was loaded with fresh grilled vegetables. We also tried something I never heard of, lasagna Stromboli with a generous cup of marinara sauce. The sauce tasted delicious! Since I usually make my own, it takes a lot to impress me. The atmosphere was rustic and with the large crowd we did not have to wait more than a couple of minutes. We never felt rushed and our waiter did check back a couple of times to see if we needed anything without being intrusive. More...
I love this place. They have good soups too. I love the eggplant parm. Good vibe whether indoor or out.
I have been here several times and really enjoy myself when we go here. We have been for happy hour drinks and appetizers as well as for lunch and dinner. They have a very nice happy hour by the way in the bar area offering a few appetizer dishes at a nicely discounted price. I have also had a few cocktails here, they have some creative cocktails on their menu and the bartenders have offered to make some of their own concoctions that are not on the menu. When the weather is not too hot they have a fantastic patio and they open the garage doors which gives the restaurant a very nice indoor / outdoor airy feel. Some of their dishes I have had are ok and others are fantastic. I find the pizza menu creative but average upon delivery (I think I may not be a big fan of their red sauce). They have the best most delicious brussel sprouts that I have had anywhere. Wings area absolutely delicious and I am not a fan of wings. Overall food is solid and great atmosphere. More...

Had lunch there today, no complaints. Great sandwich, friendly service and finished my meal off with a great cup of coffee! Try it, you'll like it!
This place was so much needed in this neighborhood. For all of the commercialism of the Atlantic Military intersection, there was no really great restaurant like this to hang out in and no comfortable bar with a happy hour. Wood and Fire fills a real need here in this part of Delray. When it first opened, service was a bit better than it is now, but I understand that; they're busier now and there's no question that the restaurant will succeed, as it's jammed with happy diners every night. We like eating at the bar and there are two of them--one inside and one outside--both serviced by the same bar staff. The inside bar faces the outdoor patio and Atlantic Avenue, and that wall of the restaurant is open, so you get a bit of the outside even at the inside bar. The folks at the outside bar are facing the inside dining room. We've dined on the patio and it's wonderful also, so if dining al fresco is your thing, this is a good place to do it. The happy hour foods are wonderful--meatballs, chicken wings, Brussels sprouts, pizzas and more, plus easy prices on the drinks, wines, and beers. The restaurant really does cook using a wood fire, and the wood theme is prominent here, but not just for humor. The charred blistered crust of these pizzas is phenomenal, and the other items cooked in the pizza ovens are as well--such as the chicken wings and Brussels sprouts that are served in individual fiery hot (don't touch) cast iron pans. Delicious. I also love the salads there, particularly the Romaine wedge. If I had written this review when W&F first opened, I would have given 5 stars, but the service at the bar has fallen off in recent times. Sitting too long waiting to be acknowledged, and a bartender letting our glasses go dry, which has happened to us recently, is not 5-star service. They do apologize for these lapses, but it would be better if the management hired an extra bartender for those busy nights, Even so, I love Wood and Fire, and believe you will also. More...
OK, so I like this place! Been here now twice and no miss on the food and drinks either time. It's apparent they use fresh everything and have great standards on the food quality. Vibe is a little noisy, but in a good way, I think. Set up is open and airy and outside area is nice to sit and chill with a drink. However... They lose a star for the really uncomfortable chairs in the dining room though... Unless you're skinny and small, the chair sides bite right into you in a very uncomfortable way. The seats on them are straight flat too, which doesn't help. 2 thumbs up on the decor, food and vibe! Thumbs down on the uncomfortable chairs... :-( More...
Outstanding service- prompt and with a smile! We had the charred octopus that was tender and flavorful we also had the charred brussel sprouts - best I've ever had!!! This place is so good, in an area that needed this, nothing else was around except a Friendlys (closed down) and a flea market and Office Depot. I love coming here for the happy hour food and drinks. The ingredients are fresh. It's off the strip of Atlantic but has a similar trendy experience. Great Tartufo pizza with lots of spinach and love the brussel sprouts (without bacon), spicy chicken wings are good too. I love the White Rascal beer from Avery Brewing in CO. I LOVE the fact that allow dogs on the patio!!!!!They also have a back outdoor area for events that looks pretty awesome. Go check it out and support this local business More...

So we were on the way home last night from PBI planning to eat at a local Pizzeria. Fortunately, we decided to eat in a New restaurant "Wood and Fire" on Atlantic near Military. We had a Pizza, house salad, chicken wings, and a fruit cobbler covered with pizza dough for desert. Here is my REVIEW: Pizza excellent House salad very goodChicken wings very tastyFruit cobbler covered in pizza dough with icecream was GREATService was excellentBut what really made this meal over the top was the owner Freddy. He was all over the restaurant making sure everything was going correctly. He stopped at tables conversing with customers. I have no financial interest in this restaurant. But I wish I did! I was here with some friends - sat at the bar - Happy Hour - drinks with wings and a small pizza - both were great. Welcome to Delray Beach - I will be back again soon.
Since this seems to be a chain, we were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and service. Wait staff were professional and attentive, as well as friendly. We came with our two small, and VERY well trained, service dogs. There was a slight hesitation by the hostess/waitress when we arrived with our service dogs regarding our sitting indoors (it was cold outside that day), which indicates to us that staff probably have not been well informed about the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) and Service Dogs; and, that is the reason we did not give five stars. HOWEVER, after a slight hesitation, another waitress stepped in and said the dogs would not be a problem, and seated us all the way in the back at a table indoors, but she seated us. We shared the mussels, which were delicious. We also shared a personal Margarita pizza which was delicious. For dessert, we shared the baked apple cobbler, which came in a cast iron miniature skillet and was served with ice-cream. Dessert was good, but lacked flavor, and the crust was slightly burned. The dessert needs a bit of work to get it up to speed, but looking at a recipe online and adjusting it will get the dessert there in short order. The ice-craam on the apple cobbler was of good quality (in some restaurants, it's not, so this was a plus). Overall we had a lovely experience and we will go back. When we were leaving, wait staff commented on how well-behaved our Service Dogs were. I imagine, this being Florida, that they get their share of "fake" Service Dogs who are not as well-trained and well-behaved as ours, so we were pleased that the staff acknowledged that our dogs were as well-behaved as they were and always are. Management needs to do a little bit of a better job informing staff about the ADA and Service Dogs. I know this can be dicey because of the number of "fake" Service Dogs people are trying to pass off as legitimate Service Dogs; but, there's not anything that restaurants can do about that except monitor the behavior of the dogs. If the dogs are not behaving, they have the right, under the law, to ask the customer handling the ill-behaved dog(s) to leave or to go outside, and they can exercise that right. Barring that, if a customer says they have a Servic More...
My favorite place in the neighborhood. Happy Hour between 3-7 each day...all drinks half price. There's a bar menu, $5-10 dollars. The pizza for $10 dollars is small but good. A bit loud indoors though and hard to have a conversation. I like the choice of a bar both outdoors and indoors. More...
This was our first visit. And we loved everything about this restaurant. It is unique style Italian but so very delicious. We started with the baked clams which were served in a very tasty red sauce. There were 4 of us and all were amazed how the clams were served n tasted. I than had their wood fired baked ravioli. Again so very different than your local pizzeria but also amazing. We finished with their mouth watering terramum. The only thing better than the amazing food was the GREAT SERVICE PROVIDED BY JUSTIN. recommend you ask for Justin for a great relaxing. This was our first time of many visits to come More...
Excellent food in a part of Delray that has few other decent options. I've been here at least five times and haven't been disappointed yet. The pizzas are superb (saying this as a New Yorker!) with creative ingredients and combos but nothing silly like pineapple or avocado. Other entrees I've tried were very good as well, including an insanely decadent ravioli with short ribs. Appetizers are a little skimpy for the prices, but the place overall is reasonable so splurge on a few if you're hungry. Good wine selection too. The service is quick, friendly, and attentive (if not always expert, but whatever, it's a casual place) and had no problem letting us chill with our sambucas even though it was getting crowded. One night the manager (?) came around to check on every table so obviously they care. For me, the inside is too loud and crowded but it's a good, fun vibe if you're less cranky than I am. I prefer the outside, which despite Atlantic Avenue traffic is very pleasant. Seems like a fun bar scene too. More...
Food was good. (soup, pizza, wings) Atmosphere was loud and boisterous. Service was friendly but less than efficient. However,t the waitress was new to the place. I would definately go back.
I visited W & F to celebrate a birthday and we had an AMAZING experience. The food was phenomenal, Amber and Blake were funny, knowledgeable, quick and the service was on point. Dean the GM visited us and welcomed us to the W&F family. I will be back. More...
This is now the second experience I have had here during their Happy Hour, and it was just as phenomenal as the first one! Blake was our bartender both times, we never had to worry about drinks. We have now tried everything on the HH menu and I would not even be able to pick my favorite of the food items as they were all fantastic! We even got a visit from Dean who is the GM at this location which made the experience unforgettable! You will definitely be seeing me again! More...
This is not your ordinary pizza joint. The dishes are hand made and very good. You can tell they took a tip or two from iron chef. Would definitely go again.
Finally tried Wood and Fire after driving by many times and noticing how full the parking lot always seems to be! Now I understand! What a welcome local find! The bar was packed on a Tuesday night. We sat at a high top next to the bar, had immediate and attentive service, and was greeted by management. Though we ordered only bar appetizers, everything was really delicious. The wings are someOf the best I've had around here. Being a brussel sprout snob, these were top notch! Even the meatballs were extremely tasty! I am looking forward to going back often! More...
Absolute perfection. From start to finish. Started with the Picante Wings and the Wood Fire Mini Meatballs. The wings were very good sized and were fire roasted in the wood oven. They had a very light sauce on them and it was exactly what they needed. The Gorgonzola dipping sauce was creamy and delicious. The mini meatballs were not that mini at all. Good sized and plenty of them. Just a touch of cheese on top and the roasted pomodoro sauce was amazing. We also ordered the charred Brussels sprouts. "Fired" with pickled red onion, double smoked bacon, and sherry vinegar. We should have ordered a 2nd order. Delicious. My son got the wood oven baked lasagna. Giant portion. Plenty of sauce. Filled with meat and cheese. Pasta cooked perfectly. I got the Classico pizza and added artichokes and charred mushrooms. The crust was thin and crisp with just a bit of chewiness on the inside. This might be the best pizza I've ever eaten. Lastly our server was Megan S. She was great. Kept the water filled. Was very polite and professional. More...
Great atmosphere, amazing food and drinks. Best happy hour in west Delray and the staff is sweet. This is one of my new weekend spots. Love it!!
This is a great new restaurant. Just minutes from my house. A beautiful open air restaurant. Everyone was super courteous while we waited for our pizza to go. My sister and her husband ordered gluten free and we ordered regular. They were all fantastic. More...
So much more than a pizza place, this full Italian menu rocks! They make a lot of five star dishes in the wood fire, great risottos, and pastas. Seafood includes an awesome octopus and a salmon that more tame seafood lovers would groove on! Full bar, great atmosphere and killer service. So the big question: Why here, in the black hole of quality restaurants? Don't know, but it goes toe to toe with East Atlantic Ave's best! More...
Great addition to Delray.Wonderful food and service.Especially love the prosciutto and arugula pizza ,really good lasagna too.Actually everything we've had there was good and reasonably priced.Very busy bar scene at Happy Hour.If you want a table and not just the bar, make a reservation More...
Here with two friends and I can't honestly say if we're busier raving about Wood & Fire or eating all of the dishes that we ordered! If you do anything in Delray Beach make it a meal at Wood & Fire! It's amazing! More...
Just went here with a friend, didnt know what to expect but loved it! Yummy food, really fun atmosphere. Not a romantic scene, but family friendly with lots to look at. That everyday welcome feeling instead of stuck up snobbery. Wish it was closer to my home, for those days when you ask yourself, where do you want to go, no-where do you want to go? This would be the place. Reasonable pricing, good atmosphere, good food. More...
Highly recommend, excellent food, great atmosphere, amazing service!!! Would definitely come back next time we make to trip to Florida!
The Atmosphere: Wood and Fire successfully walks that delicate balance between a vibrant bar scene and a family-friendly Italian favorite. With the right SoFla weather, outside seating is a comfy option. Inside are six sports (usually) flatscreens with techno-pop playing at a comfortable volume. This is not a restaurant for a quiet meal. The vibe is energetic but not just for the young. Unlike most places on West Atlantic, there was diversity of age. We were amidst the old, the young, some kids and the almost deceased. All seemed to be having a good time. As for the food, I see some mixed reviews about the food and I guess I have a mixed review myself. The Food: I was here with family for this visit. Overall, we liked the food. When I get good service, my food tends to taste better. Mood is a taste enhancer. Still, I have to give low marks on the pappardelle with meat sauce. The pasta, presented as homemade, was starchy and too thick, maybe underdone. The meat sauce was scant on the meat. There was no attempt at something special for the dish and it fell short with the gummy pasta. I ended up not eating it. This dish stands in stark contrast to the rest of our food. I tried slices from two different wood-fired pizzas - the classico and the charred vegetable. These are thin-crusted pies served surprisingly fast. The crust was a 7 out of 10, good crunch, airy edge and a nice wood-fired taste without being too charred. The charred veggie pizza was terrific. Same crust with very tasty charred vegetables, dollops of fresh mozzarella and a nice sauce. The fritto misto (translated loosely as "mixed fry") was served with medium shrimp, calamari and finely chopped vegetables. I would have preferred the vegetables to be larger because the tiny diced veggies were overpowered by the fried breading. Still good. My beautiful, vegetarian dining companion had a salad. I cannot remember the name but she had it with strawberries, salmon and mixed greens. The salad's artful presentation was appreciated and she loved it and said she would order it again. The faro and vegetable soup was made with a chicken base and so she was not able to order that. The Service: Our greeter and server were both nice and friendly and our server was attentive. A gentleman I assumed to be the manager came by to check on us.Wood and Fire is fun, clean and the pizzas are well worth the visit. I will try another entrée, in addition to the pizza, my next visit and I will update my review. Please let me know if this is helpful and share your experience. More...
I'm uping my stars here because like I said in my previous review, I wanted to give it another chance and I did. So why the added star? One, because I ate the arugula and prosciutto pizza and it was amazing and secondly, the bar staff are friendly and the manager was attentive even on a busy night. I am keeping it at 4 stars opposed to 5 because I still fine the prices a bit steep for this area and the inside acoustics make it noisy when even half the restaurant is full. More...
Fabulous "Grandma pizza" and calzone w roasted eggplant.Delicious Apple Crustada w mocha gelato for dessert. My wife says, to quote Billie Joel, it's our (new) favorite Italian Restaurant.GOOD BYE, Sal's. Hello, Fire and Wood.#Got Wood? More...
Wow. Came here because I heard their pizza was good. Wanted to give it a try. From the looks of the place when I walked in, I didn't think it was going to be great. It looked like a chain restaurant. But boy was I wrong!! The pizza was excellent. Crust excellent. Flavor beyond excellent. I didn't want it to end. I was actually going to order another pizza Togo just to have it again the next day. Wow. Amazing pizza. I will be back. More...
I've been to Wood & Fire twice this winter. My wife had the salmon and I had the short rib ravioli. They were both really excellent. I recommend this place
Tried this place last night. We got the grandma pizza which is enough for two. It was so good. We also got the w & f wings which had great flavor and the potential to be great but they were so fatty and not worth it. I also got the ice wedge salad which was very good. It came with 3 wedges of iceberg, bacon, grape tomatoes and Gorgonzola cheese along with a buttermilk dressing. Was delicious. We also got the fronto Misto which is fried calamari and shrimp. Was good. Didn't like the lemon aioli that came with it so I asked for marinara. Megan was our server, she was excellent. We would definitely ask for her again. Overall a great experience. We will be back very soon! More...
We enjoyed an amazing lunch today. We received a friendly greeting and shown to a table on the patio. There is a very nice by the glass wine selection, as well as bottles. We enjoyed the frito misto and a sausage and eggplant pizza. The table near us ordered an amazing looking dessert we look forward v trying on our next visit. More...

I really like this place the pizza is to die for, food is always fresh, i have tried so many things here and never had been dissappointed, the service is always outstanding,i have been there over a dozen times, the happy hour is great, and gets packed ,i dont particularity like people sitting on top of me so get there early,I promise you will not be disappointed, PS I see alot of people comparing W&F to anthonys, which i love also but W&F is just different they have there own take on food and how to prepare, thank god for diversity
Although all of their dishes are delicious, I really loved their spaghetti with clams. Have eaten here twice now and both times I chose to dine outside as the noise level inside was very high!
I hesitate to write this review because it's so good and I don't want a lot of people to crowd up the restaurant. But I have to tell you this is one of the best restaurants in Delray Beach. Food is awesome and fresh and absolutely delicious. Our server Melissa was a gem too. Three thumbs up. More...
We loved everything we had here...W&f salad, w&f chicken wings and Margarita pizza...we added charred mushrooms, red peppers and sausage. Great outdoor eating area, beautiful night, honored our yelp reservation immediately even though walk-Ins were waiting, did notice it was quite loud inside so happy they had a table for us outside. Heaters were avail if desired. Nice waitress too. All in all, a win. Will definitely return! More...
This place is better than awesome. For those negative people, get your heads out of the sand !!The place is hip. Music may be just slightly on the loud side but if your not six feet under, live a little. The service was on point and the food was awesome. Top 5 restaurant in the area. I'm from up North and come down frequently and this place is top quality. Five star for sure. If your looking for the early bird special, it's not for you. If your into a happening restaurant and out for a good time with great food, this is a 5 star pick. If your in 10 mile radius of this place, go take the ride, well worth it. More...
First visit & very impressed. The food was delish...all very fresh. We had specialty dessert which was outrageous! Great service...Chris, our waiter, was attentive and friendly. Will def go back More...
Our appetizer, the fried balls was amazing! And the Apple dessert was as well. The pizza was kind of burnt and nothing special. I would consider this an upscale trendy pizza place. Also a little pricey. More...
Was in Florida with some friends for Super Bowl and looking for a place locally with a light menu. Found W&F 3 blocks from our rental, and very glad we did. Great service, great appetizers and the personal pizzas were out of this world. Will definitely stop here next time in Florida and will stop in Pleasantville, NY to try that location. Good food, good service. More...
Been here at least 4 times now the food is always absolutely delicious and very fresh. The service is always professional, I love the nice ambiance. Also the management is always walking around taking care of all the clients. It's a fantastic place all the way around. Outdoor patio and bar is very nice too. More...
Despite some negative reviews I decided to give the place a try. My mom and I were greeted by the 2 hostesses who very nice and got my mom a chair to sit in while we waited about 20 minutes for a table. Our waitress Elana came over right away and took our order. We ordered the Eggplant Parm with a side of linguine. And a plain pizza well done. Pasta is made fresh on the premises. The meal was delivered by 2 runners who were also accommodating making sure we had everything we needed. We did request several items and they brought them to us promptly.I felt the prices were in line with the food quality and service we received. As others have mentioned the noise is a little loud but my 81 old mom could handle it.P.S the linguine was not included eithr the Eggplant. There was a $4 charge. That would never happen Jersey. More...
Great place... love the patio. Service has always been great! Have had the pizza, short ribs, gnocchi, and ravioli. All has been amazing!
As a New Yorker I consider myself a good judge of pizza. The pizza at Wood and Fire is excellent, as was the service. The bustling atmosphere is a little noisy and I prefer to sit in the heated Outdoors which is a bit quieter. it is a place to which I will return over and over again More...
Food was excellent. The romaine wedge was different and very good. The Papperdelle Bolognese was delicious and a very large portion for a great price. Very attentive service. Only issue was the noise level. Difficult to hear conversations across the table. Still I would recommend Wood & Fire for good Italian food. More...
Good but not awesome. Servers were nice and attentive. And the hostess dealt well with our sitting issues.
My husband and I wanted to try the new Italian place in the neighborhood. Mind you we spent two years traveling throughout Italy so we didn't go in with the highest of expectations. I had the rigatoni dish with shrimp and pesto sauce and my husband tried the lasagna figuring he couldn't go wrong. We were both completely blown away with both of our meals, it's obvious that they were prepared with fresh ingredients. Being that we were so skeptical going in I decided to pay a compliment to our server Blake, and I let him know about the time we spent in Italy and that our meals were better than any dish we had while we were there. It was Saturday night and extremely busy but the service was so superb that it didn't take from the quality of our experience. The only thing negative that I can think of was that it was a tad bit noisy inside but that can be avoided if you choose to dine on one of their two very nice outdoor patios. Wood and Fire has definitely gained two more regular customers out of my husband and I. Definitely give this place a try! More...
Delicious! Great menu. Would highly recommend. The pizza is just like it's served in Rome.
Wood & fire restaurant was amazing. Good food great location and loved the atmosphere. Our waitress Melissa was very attentive, she explained the entire menu to us, asked if we would like a drink while we waited for our food, very friendly. We will return.
I came here for dinner and everything was great! The staff was friendly and the outdoor seating was a great option. The food is super fresh and tasty and the atmosphere is very enjoyable. I will be back. The grandma pizza was to die for More...
New only been there a few month glad to see new business there,,,, Food was good ,,,the salmon was very good pizzas all 4 dish was worth returning good waitress was nice !!!!but I really find it not good business practice when a customer says that there no beet in salad when then r to be in to come and say that would cost extra that turn us all off !!!!!!Later someone can over and gave and said not charge!!! also order brussel sprout with out bacon which they said they could make and ask again when delivered if they was any in it they say no !!!eating there it was bacon I they did not believe me then took back (then agree they was bacon ) But did noting !!!!I did not find this place customer friendly!!! Saw that the area had A new restaurant on Yelp. Its a little out of the way for us and reviews recommended happy hour but we were in the area at lunch time. We had chicken pa ninis and they were enormous. They came with a salad and a sprig of rosemary a really nice touch. This is a really nice place. The food is high quality and there are lots of tv's but not the feel of a sports bar. The happy hour looks amazing. On advice of Rory the bartender we also ordered the truffle croquet. So delicious. Just a quick note. A restaurant in Trader Joes Plaza in Delray just opened near us during the holidays we were happy to go with friends. Although the happy hour menu said 3-7 the bartender insisted it started at 4 and marched off coming back in a very surly mood which she maintained through a second visit. On the other hand Rory was smiling and helpful with lots of good info about the food. This is what makes a return visit and more.GREAT PLACE! More...
Love their pizzas and their baked chicken wings. Also their salads are delicious. Would go back often but a girl has to watch her figure. Go for their pizza, wine and wonderful ambiance. Will not disappoint. More...
So I have been to this establishment twice now in the last week. The first time was amazing. I loved it the meatballs, the pizza (a margarita pizza- however it was missing significant amounts of basil, there was almost none), meatballs and the brussels sprouts. My second trip was the other night and it's crowded there. They have some long family-style tables and multiple couples were sharing them. A friend of mine and I did the same. The wines were decent (Malbec is their best but they were out of it) and we ordered spicy chicken wings, brussels sprouts, meatballs and arancini (rice balls with cheese inside, I did not see any meat) and were beyond delicious. My friend did not care for the chicken wings at all. She said they were too spicy and did not enjoy the flavor. I loved the rice balls and ate every one of them LOL. The brussels sprouts were overcooked and dry and greasy. Not sure how they managed that. We did complain and Management took it off of our check. Love the owner (Mike). The staff was great. I will be back again for another try. I saw some amazing pasta and other foods coming out of the kitchen so those are next. Also, they have a happy hour so don't forget to check that out. More...
Was nice being close to home the staff is friendly. Great happy hour but the pizza prices are a little high for such a small pie.Update to my last experience here: We went for dinner ordering their homemade pasta dishes and WOW what a pleasant surprise!! Absolutely awesome pasta!!! Everything was great and reasonably priced for what we had! I'm so happy we have this another try. Definitely will be back often. More...
Went there on a weeknight with my husband and we had a great time at the bar. The food was delicious and the service was friendly. Looking forward to going again!
Wood & Fire Pizza is a nice place to enjoy a dinner and better yet, a fantastic place for happy hour. The ambiance is awesome here with outdoor seating, indoor seating, bar, lots of action going on, and has a fun vibe. The Bentley margarita drink ($12) was outstanding. One of the best in town.I tried the charred octopus ($14) that was pretty good and worth a taste if you have never tried it before.I ordered a 12 inch Margarethe pizza ($18) with pepperoni and meatballs and it was good, but not quite as good as Anthony's across town.Overall, this place is popular and the happy hour prices and specials rock, so I will definitely be back. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Bianca tartufo pizza was good- we could have skipped the fried ravioli- overall good experience. Wish them luck!
great food, great service and everything was yummy.try their apple pie with gelato for desert,it's scrumptous, strombolio light and delicious, grilled octopus served a new and delicious way, clams with spicy italian meat very different and the pizza omg wonderful

Second time here and it did not disappoint! Papardelle bolognese was delicious, thank you Chef Shawn! Our waiter Brent was terrific!

Great food and good service. Half price drinks at happy hour and discounted food items. Outdoor seating both at the bar and for food.
I met a colleague of mine there for lunch, and we sat at the gorgeous outdoor bar (with a grand view of the gorgeous interior). Megan, our server was very courteous and took care of us very nicely.Food: I was in the mood for pasta with broccoli rabe and sausage. It was amazing! I love it when I see pieces of the cooked garlic. The pasta is homemade there, and was PERFECT. I told the very gracious manager there, it was better than my mother's. . . We also shared a simple wood fired pepperoni pizza. Perfectly baked well done and with a nice crispy crust. Atmosphere: This place would be perfect and be in line with any hot downtown Delray restaurant/bar. Very hip with a high energy feel. You can see the giant wood burning ovens from the dining area and the wood for burning neatly stacked ready to cook more delicious pizzas. The inside/out bar area with covered exterior dining adds to the different levels of your experience. . . It's about time this area got a hot spot for good home-made Italian food and bar experience. I'll have to make time to return during Happy Hour and bring the whole family! More...
Stopped in for a beer only so far. Friendly professional staff, menu looks amazing and smells amazing from what I can see. Finally a good hip place in west Delray! Awesome beer selection and can't beat half off. Love the outdoor bar seating. Will be back tomorrow for pizza.Update: have been back several times since. The beer is good, the wine is great, the food is better. Finally a place to go to in Delray. Stop by! More...

Great food and environment ate there today sat by the window server was amazing she recommend the mussels and rigatoni with vodka sauce definitely not disappointed service was exceptional as well!
Food was great. Ate outside on the patio. Definitely going back! We had eggplant parm and wood oven baked ravioli.
Excellent food. Gave this new place a shot being we live so close and it surely did not disappoint. The initial seating by the hostess was a bit disappointing as the young lady who took our name down thought we were going to grab our own seat outside and was just a tad bit rude but overall, this did not detract from the overall experience. The grandma pie was very good, boarding on excellent. Thin crust and fresh topping rounded out what was an excellent pie to start the meal off. Next was chicken milanese. Excellent as well. The two cutlets were breaded and cooked to perfection. The other two people in our party ordered the Fusilli Broccoli Rabe & Sausage and the Pappardelle Bolognese. Both dishes were savory and perfectly executed. For the first go around I would recommend wood & fire no questions asked. The interior decorating was pleasing to the eye to boot. Looking forward to making this establishment a go to for the near future. More...
Great new place on west Atlantic. Comfortable atmosphere, happy hour, large menu. We had the romaine wedge salad and the Stromboli both were delicious
Food is very good. Service was very good. The only reason they get 4 stars instead of 5 is the seats are very uncomfortable. Also, I am not a prude and I get the pun however, the shirts that said #igotwood was a bit offensive. There is always take out! More...
