Really enjoy Woburn, but there seemed to be a lot of empty enclosures in the foot safari section yesterday.

Nice place to spend 1 entire day. Long cues by car to see the animals, few coffee shops, and bar/restaurant. Decent food. Very recommended to go with kids.

Absolutely gorgeous location for a wedding. The staff are very friendly and the venue is very reasonably priced with plenty of options to suit any and all weddings. They have this gorgeous veranda overlooking some of the park which completes the entire location for me. It makes it a very romantic and comfortable place to tie the knot. The place it's very huge. There have everything. Environment it's like natural. Have too many animals like elephants, penguins, monkeys, tigers, giraffes, zebras, rhinos, piggies, deers, kangaroos,wolfes,lions, some snakes, snails, frogs . .. If you are hungry there have restaurant.. There it's suitable to going with kids and all family. Can watching with your car and without it. Have parking, cinema picnic area... It's wonderful place. We had afternoon tea. The service was excellent. The lady who served us was was very good. The afternoon tea was well presented with home made scones and petite fours, the sandwiches was made from various types of bread which suited the fillings of smoked salmon, egg&cress, ham and mustard, cucumber and cream cheese. These are fingers of sheer delight. I would recommend a visit to try they cream teas. Enjoyed it so much have booked again for the tennis one. Thank you to the staff for making the visit memorable. Lovely Place!

We often meet here with visiting relatives and have lunch in the bar area. It is always lovely and plentiful, with quite a menu on offer, although we usually have sandwiches and a bowl of French fries.
The food standards are excellent .
I have also had afternoon tea at the hotel, with my Mother, for a birthday treat and again I can't fault the service and food. It was delightful, with a lovely selection of tea's, coffee's, sandwiches and cakes which Mum really enjoyed.
There is always plenty of free parking and a warm welcome at this hotel. More...

Stayed at the Slipperfield. Beautiful space to stay in for 2 nights. Made a great weekend trip in visiting Woburn Safari Park and Bletchley Park, finished with a lovely evening in Oliviers Restaurant for dinner.

Staff were super friendly and always on hand if we needed anything.

I have covered a couple of weddings at The Woburn Hotel. The latest being in December 2017. I found the staff to be absolutely lovely, kind and incredibly helpful. We spent the night here after visiting the spa at the nearby center parcs. The hotel is lovely and staff (Dan and Sally) were very welcoming and the check-in process efficient. Particular thanks to Dan as there was a mix up with the room due to my husband accidentally booking a twin room rather than a double! Dan swiftly dealt with this and even upgraded us to a cottage which was beautiful. It was a lovely gesture since it wasn't the hotels mistake and very much appreciated. Excellant place for a family day out, little exspensive especially if the weather is a little hot as the animals are just lazing about but they allow you to go round as many times you want so we tried again as the afternoon cooled down and got a lot more photo oppurtunities and alot less qeueing

The location and grounds of this hotel are stunning, the staff very friendly and attentive, the food excellent. There are a few things (picky probably) that I didn't like hence why I didn't give it 5 stars. Firstly the in room WiFi is horrible. We were barely able to connect, most of the time with the bars bouncing from 0 to 1. This was the same across multiple devices and in several rooms in the "200" section of the hotel.) we were here with a group in a wedding and everyone had the same experience. If you need to connect for anything like work, you'll have a miserable time like I did. I ended up taking my computer down to one of the local pubs and had a better time there. Secondly the bathrooms were disappointing. For a 4aa rated hotel, I expected a little more. The toilets flushed only on the third or fourth pump, the fan was either non existent, or strangely hard to figure out how to turn on, the bath water was tough to regulate and the drains were extremely slow. Lastly, I found the beds slightly uncomfortable, but that just may be me. The mattress was firm enough but the pillows extremely soft. I've stayed in a lot of 4 to 5 star hotels over the years and for the price I paid, I expected a little more comfort. That being said, the location in the storybook picturesque village of Woburn is unreal, the hotel has a lot of character and the staff from cleaners to front desk to kitchen delivered superior service. 4/5, but for service over comfort. for the price paid per night, I don't think it would be worth it for me to stay here next time.
