I have been working in San Jose for 5 months. A long way from home, Texas. I found WL Wellness on Groupon and it has been the greatest find. No matter what pain I come in with, James is able to make it all go away. He is very in touch with body/mind/spirit and has a passion for healing/helping people. I recently returned from Mexico and was extremely ill. James knew just how to help.And what a welcome it is to meet Sarah when you walk through the door. I love this place. I've had 3 visits so far. James is amazing!! I tried the cupping/massage combo and the acupuncture/massage combo. This isn't your average massage. It's more acupressure. I have lower back pains due to working out and stomach issues also. James knows exactly how to cure my pain and I feel better with each visit. Firstly I would like to thank doc James to treat myLong term pinched nerve I tried everything possible but nothing worked for me but he was an angel I was suffering from bad shoulder ache but just 2 sessions and I was fit to run.  so yes he is the saviour. I would highly recommend WL wellness for any kind of problems coz doc James has solutions to all our problems. Regarding his clinic I would say I could stay for hours and hours it's so relaxing very peaceful and very home like. The clinic has some vibrant and positive feeling. I remb it was a Sunday when I visited him and I was stressed about something and I felt the moment I entered his clinic I was calm relaxed forgot about my worry and got my treatment done. I have done acupuncture, cupping and massage and they are all very effective and amazing at WI wellness. Anyone who is looking to relax and yet wanting to get himself treated this is it !Doc James is very humble and he keeps smiling throughout the treatment which makes u feel even more relaxed I feel every doc should be like him. I believe in eastern medicine, but after seeing 3 other acupuncturists, I did not feel my shoulder was getting better. I found James online and he treated me for a shoulder issue.  I left his office feeling optimistic and much better with his style of treatment, but everyone is different.  I still need to see James till my shoulder is at 100%.I would highly recommend James for all your wellness treatments. James was amazing!!! He knew exactly where to treat.  I purchased the massage/cupping combination.   The therapeutic massage was not what I was expecting, more utilizing acupressure but he is so intuitive he knew what I needed for my neck and shoulders.  I have not had this kind of relief in my neck and shoulders for-- I can't remember the last time my neck movement felt so free!   I see a chiropractor regularly and do yoga almost daily.  I am so impressed. James is a very good doctor of traditional Chinese medicine, because every period of my period will be very painful, have to take painkillers to control, when serious even injection, very affect my work and life. Since Dr. James helped me to see three times in a row, I feel much better when I come to my period. I still feel a little pain, but I don't need to take painkillers anymore. This is a gorgeous place, very clean and well organized, which makes me feel comfortable and relax. The staffs here are friendly and professional. They are prepared to help me out. The therapist give me a consultation and I got treated with acupuncture, light, and Tuina. They also give some educated information and great follow up. I whent to go get acupuncture work done on my neck. I have pain in moving my neck from side to side. This has been a favorite place for me to get accupuncture procedure done. This is my go to place for this treatment. My neck now is easier to move from side to side. I do have other neck pain on the top of my neck from which  I didnt know exactly where it came from untill a chiropractor from medical told me my pain originated from. Now that I go here I will let the accupuncturist know of my pain. I cant wait to go back again and tell James this. More...

I suffer from neck/back pain and have tried many different remedies for relief. This was my first experience with cupping and I could feel the tension melt away almost instantly. I used to have very bad back pain and headaches. I started doing cupping with James several times a month and it has helped me tremendously . James took the time to listen to my issues and has really helped with my pain. The combination of the cupping and the medical massage has been of great benefit to me. Lately my right shoulder has been giving me some issues while working out. It extended into pain with everyday activities such as shutting a window or reaching over into my passenger side of my car to grab my purse. I did around 7 sessions with a chiropractor which helped. After I stopped with the chiro my pain was relieved but recently I have felt it coming back. I decided to try something different. I have heard of cupping and the benefits sounded like what I needed. Looking at Yelp WL wellness had great reviews and the hours worked with my schedule. I had a great experience from my first phone call to check out. I had a great experience with James at WL Wellness.  I tried Cupping and the therapeutic massage.  Great place for anyone looking to try a Cupping massage. This was my first experience with Cupping and I must say, it is the most lasting massage technique I have ever experienced!  My session began with Cupping, a process in which the muscles are pulled by the suction of the cups.  There were very pronounced crop-circle like markings left on my back for about two weeks.  After that part was done, Jame's did a therapeutic massage on me.  I could not only feel but see the effects of the massage.  If you favor deep, high-pressure massages I recommend their Cupping session.  But also, the therapeutic massage alone was amazing as well.  I HIGHLY recommend WL Wellness.  The facility is spotless, staff is very friendly and professional.  Can't wait to come back again for my next session. I had incredible lower back pain and I was referred to WL. I was skeptical at first bc I had tried deep tissue massage and accupuncture.  James at WL suggested I do a combination of cupping and deep tissue massage.  My back wasn't fixed over night but I could immediately feel tension relief and decreased muscle soreness.   Over the course of 3 weeks and 6 sessions, my back feels almost normal and I can be active again.  I really like the cupping bc   it actually feels like a release of bad toxins.  I am convinced that WL needs to be part of a monthly treatment for me. My friend and I visited the wellness center last week. She was having menstrual cramps, and I was having low back pain. We were at Nordstoms in Valley Fair looking up nerby Yelp reviews when we found this place. I am extremely picky, and I was pleasantly surprised. They were able to get us in immediately for moxy and massage therapy. We had a wonderful experience.  The place is very clean and professional. My girlfriend had menstrual cramps when she walked in, and by the end of her moxy treatment she was pain free. I had Judy the massage therapist for a relaxing and therapeutic treatment. They have a promotion going on, so we were able to get 30% off of our appointments. I really recommend this place. Stop by after Santana Row/Valley fair shopping, and get some relaxation. More...

From the moment I walked into the reception area, I knew I had made a good decision.  The atmosphere is so relaxing.   I was a bit nervous at first about having the cupping administered, more so the marks that would be left behind.  The experience was more than I imagined.   At no time did I feel discomfort.  I could feel the suction of my skin but it was somewhat relieving to my sore muscles. I was referred to James by a mutual friend, after I mentioned my neck and back were constantly bothering me -  James was very professional and made sure i was ok at all times.  After the cups were removed he then gave me a very nice massage on my way home I realized, my neck and back were not in any pain.  I Definitely recommend James!!!! Today I had a session with James (WL Wellness) & it was amazing. I came to him due to a knee injury I had in late March of 2016 that was also causing foot pain. I had went to my doctor in April & was recommended to do physical therapy, with the daily icing & rest. However, I live an active style & wanted to try something different. I had previously done cupping before after many recommendations and had felt it worked well for me in terms of decreasing my pain. James' is very professional, knowledgeable,  & polite. He created a relaxing environment for the session & explained to me exactly what he was doing. He knew right away where my pain was & went to work using massages as well as cupping. He even gave myself & my husband recommendations on how to help my knee recuperate. My overall experience was wonderful. I was able to walk out of his office for the first time in 6 months without any pain in my knee or foot, I almost wanted to cry. I highly recommend him & his work.
