Highly recommend. Pete is a really nice chap & is passionate about helping his clients to improve their fitness levels. His classes are challenging but good fun, he makes every class different so you never get bored by doing the same thing over and over again. The feel in the gym is of friendship & team effort; Pete leads the way with the groups camaraderie. No one is left behind, Pete keeps an eye out and if someone is struggling with something he is quick to offer support and an alternative move if that’s what’s required. I have recently just joined WTF because my training was becoming stagnant and I was lacking motivation. I have been to a number of gyms over the years but this place is unique for the following reasons: 1. the contents of the classes change from week to week which makes them really challenging and never boring; 2. there is a real community/family feel. Everyone supports and motivates each other; 3. the group take part in activities outside of the gym such as tough mudder; and 4. Louise has been personal raining me for the past 4 months, and if I wasn’t moving away I would be continuing. She takes the time to understand your goals and pushes you to make sure you achieve them. Her sessions are always interesting and different, I’ve never done the same session twice. Even though the scale hasn’t changed much I can see that my body shape has changed and I feel so much more confident in my own skin than I’ve felt possibly ever. I was initially introduced to Pete and the WTF training studios by a friend who’d recently been attending some of Pete’s circuit classes. I was looking for a new fitness challenge and was reliably informed that this was the place to be. Fast forward 2 months, and I’m now a fully fledged member of WTF. It’s been a fantastic journey so far. Right from the off, Pete actively encourages you to become the very best version of yourself and push through boundaries that you thought weren’t possible. I’ve already noticed a change in my body in the past few months alone. My fitness levels are definitely up and my motivation has most definitely returned! Pete’s dedication and commitment to the fitness industry is to be commended and his strive to invest not only in people but equipment shows he’s in it for the long run. These classes are different every week. The classes at most gyms are repeated every week. Great classes offering a bit of everything, was a member at a council gym for over 20 years and I’ve never been so motivated and challenged in my life. I’m in the best shape I’ve been in a long time and it’s all down to WTF, helped me train for the Robin Hood half and towards my own fitness goals, it’s full on, high energy and a bit bonkers but it’s the best way to improve your fitness in a great friendly environment. Me and my husband have known pete for years we met at dw . My husband (pete) had several Pt sessions and his fitness changed dramatically we then started Pt together which was great fun hard work but pete always encourages you to fight through to the end . We have recently been doing bootcamp some sessions have been challenging and hard work but we have felt so good prob not the few days after as my muscles ache lol can't wait for the next sessions to start in a few months time . Pete Staples and his Witness the Fitness workouts are hands down the best around. Whether it be a 2 hour bank holiday circuit class, a truly intense HIIT class (I literally ripped my shorts in one session), spinning classes, day trips to places like mount Snowdon or my favourite boxing; either way you are guaranteed to be leaving buckets of sweat behind and a truly satisfied customer.. I have travelled and lived across the country and been to dozens of gyms in my time, none of which even come close to Pete's classes and I genuinely look forward them all. Its much more than just a routine run of the mill workout with Pete, you find yourself almost wanting to work for him, pushing yourself to your limits and then pass them. But enough about Pete for now, he'll get a big head. :) I think part of the success at WTF is the people you train with, all of whom are wonderful. There's a great balance of age groups and different fitness levels. One thing I always notice is how much people sincerely love it, theres always a sea of smiling faces working their hardest, theres definitely friendly competition, but at the same time all involved are in it together, with support in abundance. It's one hell of a workout for all levels of fitness, but more than that, WTF is a way of life! Keep up the hard work Pete and please keep the classes coming, I hope to see you all again soon.
