I'm very impressed with the work that WireChief Electric did to remove the knobs and tubes from my house. I know nothing about electrical wiring. Octavio was very patient in explaining the procedure to me (many times). It was a big job and I was nervous. Not to mention it was going to cost a lot of money to demolish the knobs and tubes and upgrade to new electrical wiring. Octavio's quote was higher than 2 other companies but he explained to me that they will make small and as few holes as they can to get the new wires to the electric panel. The other companies were going to remove big panels of wall. I'm so glad I choose WireChief!Octavio came every day to inspect the work and explained to me what was happening. We had a slight misunderstanding when he found out that there was a switch that he did not include in his quote. We discussed about it and at the end, he told me that he will absorb the cost and not charge me for it. He wanted me to be happy. Now that is great customer service!The electricians (Taranjit, Edmond, Sam, Dwayne) were all very professional, polite, and efficient. Taranjit was very careful in planning where to make the holes. He avoided making any holes in the dining room which he explained to me was very difficult to do. Edmond was wonderful in making sure the place was clean at the end of the day. Sam was helpful in answering my questions.Laura, the Office Assistant, was very polite and quick in responding to my e-mails.I will definitely recommend WireChief Electric to all my friends and family. We hired Wirechief to install a pretty heavy chandelier . We got a few quotes and they were not the cheapest but wow - worth every penny. They did an amazing job . They went over an above to make sure that the Chandelier was properly secured and took extra time to clean up and take care of the small details so many contractors leave behind for you to deal with - super neat, tidy and polite . It is often difficult to find a tradesperson willing to take on smaller jobs, let alone find one that is trustworthy, efficient, and able to book an appointment that isn’t weeks or months later. Not only was the Wirechief team able to send someone out at short notice, the jobs were done quickly and correctly. In addition to a light installation and fixing several switch issues, I had the team install several new power outlets in an appartment I recently purchased. The care and attention paid meant that there was almost no drywall work needed other than a quick seal-and-paint. In addition, before the two workers left they provided advice for a future project which lead to a simpler option I would not have thought of. The Wirechief team did such a great job I’ve since had them back to assist with wiring up a new dishwasher complete with newly-installed wall outlet.The team is professional, careful, and take the time to explain what they are doing and why. Prompt, neat and high quality service.
After knowing that the ceiling junction box was broken, I called several electricians and WireChief replied me the fastest, in about 15 min.
Booking, work and payment were all made simple - I requested quotation online, discussed the situation and confirmed booking with WireChief via phone, and paid online by credit card.
The electrician arrived on time, and worked professionally. He replaced the old plastic junction box, the old dimmer switch and installed a new chandelier in just 1.5 hours. He cleaned the worksite and restored everything after work.
Overall, WireChief has my recommendation and I will appoint them again when needed.

Octavio helped me the obtain an electrical permit and arrange a city inspection after my contractor’s electrician failed to do so.
He needed to rewire my kitchen pot lights to bring them up to code. He did all of this while I was out of the country. He and his office administrator, were really great and responsive as I tried to arrange the logistics of keys and coordinating with the city inspector.
Octavio’s work was seamless. He was totally professional and is clearly skilled at his trade. He puts all his important credentials, licensing and insurance information right upfront on his website. What really told me that I had someone outstanding was when I called the city inspector. Octavio came HIGHLY recommended.
He sets a high standard, and I wish that all tradespeople were as professional as Octavio. I am grateful for his help and excellent work. I recommend him highly to others.

Octavio was very easy to work with. He provided a reasonable quote promptly and was flexible with scheduling work. His team installed 10 retrofit spotlights and a lighting fixture. He provided some good options in terms of how to hookup to switches. What I appreciated most was the diligence the team had to doing the job right with minimal cuts into my drywall. They could have just quickly chopped everything up, but I felt they had good balance. The entire crew was very polite and professional. They kept the place very clean.
