Wing Chun Kung Fu is an advanced and sophisticated art of fighting which evolved in the Ching dynasty period in southern China. It is marked by constantly flowing movement to sense in advance the moves of the opponent. Bruce lee was an exponent of Wing Chun Kung Fu.

Wing Chun means "Forever Spring Time", it relies on speed, economy of motion and is lethal at close range quarters. It is practical and very relevant for street fighting and against multiple attacks.

Wing Chun does not rely on muscular strength but on the precise positioning of the body's joints and structural alignment. There is both hard and soft energies in our style.

Wing Chun is a highly respected martial art, it is practiced by both men and women.

I began my training in 1992 under Sifu Sata Chand who is now based in Southend. I studied under Sifu Sata for a period of four years. I then stopped for a number of years due to career changes and other changes in my life. I restarted my training under Sifu Jagjit Ram , who I've been with for ten years.

I have achieved a third degree black belt under Sifu Ram who is a martial artist par excellence.
