Frankie has been such a blessing to my family. She brought me relief from shoulder pain that I have had for years, helped my daughter after a traumatic accident, and continues to help my son with scoliosis and issues relating to EDS and POTS. I have taken both my kids to Frankie for their lip/tongue ties and she is nothing short of amazing! With my daughter the release of hers was a life threatening situation when she was 2 weeks old as she was losing weight instead of gaining. Even with the laser procedure and chiropractic treatments she still had a twisted torso that didn't allow her to get enough milk when she nursed (I did a lot of pumping and very thankful for breastmilk donors to get us through). As soon as Frankie worked on her, her twisted torso rapidly improved and that coupled with diligent mouth exercises until she balanced all her muscles, she was able to nurse without any problems and continued until she was 2 years old. I suffered from a bad herniated disk in my back. Traditional physical therapy was too generic and not working. After the first visit with Frankie I was able to stand up straight for the first time in months. After more visits I was able to become practically symptom free. Frankie is an extraordinarily gifted practitioner who performs Fascial Integrative Therapy, a highly effective whole body therapy that treats pain and dysfunction of all kinds. She is highly qualified as not only a certified OT and massage therapist, but she is also certified in myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation and many other advanced certifications. My family not only goes to her for all our aches and pains, but we also see her to maintain alignment and balance. Most notably, Frankie has healed my mother in law of carpal tunnel and has healed my husband’s severe chronic back pain. Also, Frankie has significantly improved my newborn’s misalignments in his jaw, mouth and neck. My mother in law (71 years old) was diagnosed with carpal tunnel, and after 10 months of suffering with pain and dysfunction of her hand, and trying everything from steroids to hand therapy, the hand surgeon said that the only option she had was to have surgery. After hearing testimonials of what Frankie has done for others with carpal tunnel, I urged my mother in law to see Frankie before performing surgery. After two visits with Frankie, her carpal tunnel was completely healed; she has had no pain and has had complete range of motion in her wrist, hands and fingers ever since. My husband (37 years old) had severe chronic back pain for decades. He tried chiropractic treatments for a couple of years with only slight improvement, and he decided he was going to have to live with it. I had pain in my head, neck and upper back for years. I saw at least 20 doctors including internists, neurologists, chiropractors and wellness doctors. No one knew what was wrong with me. There is no one like Frankie - at least no one East of the Mississippi! I’ve been hunting for someone who could compare for the last 3 years since moving from the metroplex and instead, we fly to DFW from the East Coast whenever bodywork issues arise. My 6 year old’s chronic stomach pain of 2 years couldn’t be helped by diet or any of the different bodyworkers of various similar modalities (CST, MFR, chiro, etc) but one five day trip to DFW to see Frankie and she was cured. My youngest daughter was diagnosed with a tongue tie at 3 days of age and we saw the most highly recommended bodyworkers from Raleigh, NC to Charlotte,NC and they all said it would take 3+ weeks of twice weekly appointments to determine if she needed surgical intervention or if bodywork would be sufficient. Frankie knew after 3 days that she’d likely need it. And while the previous bodywork only held up for maybe 6 hours before nursing fell apart, Frankie’s work lasted two weeks before we realized she needed the minor surgical procedure! One of my twins, who was breech her whole time in utero, skipped crawling due to hip alignment issues and when she walked she looked like Frankenstein! Conventional docs wanted to break something and cast her for months to straighten her out. After Frankie worked on her ONE TIME she started crawling. After three visits over the course of weeks, she was perfectly aligned and walking and crawling and climbing as well as her twin! 5 years later and that issue has never been seen again. My eldest daughter developed Migraines during orthodontic treatment. One visit to Frankie and they never came back. Those are just the most impressive of the miracles Frankie has worked but she has done even more than that for my whole family and countless friends. Frankie is amazing!!! We (my whole family) have seen her for almost 4 yrs now. After a rollover auto accident I did traditional physical therapy. After 6 months or so and still experiencing pain in my back a family member recommended Frankie. Since 2012 I have been dealing with severe lower leg pain and mid - lower back pain. I have been to doctors of every specialty and have had countless test done, and still have no diagnosis. I found Frankie in 2013. After my first meeting with her I nearly teared up because she is the only person who actually listened to my problems, did a thorough exam, and looked me in the eye with confidence and told me she was going to help me. I have never doubted that she genuinely cares about my well being. I drive 3.5 hours to see her and would drive across the country if I had too. I first saw Frankie in action with my now 3 year old. She had a severe tongue and lip tie when born, a horrible latch despite laser, and her chiropractic adjustments were immediately ruined by her car seat. After one treatment with Frankie her latch became comfortable. It was a miracle after over two months of hell and pain. My daughter had a lot going on and was very stiff. We saw Frankie at pivotal pints of her developmental and she always made huge leaps the next day such as crawling for the first time or walking without support the first time as well as running for the first time. I’ve been going to Frankie for several years. My doctor recommended that I see Frankie to help with plantar fasciitis. I had been going to physical therapy for 5 months and my foot was better but still painful. She knew exactly what to do to help me. I have continued to see Frankie for various aches and pains over the years. She works on your entire body and always knows what I need her to work on to make me feel better. Frankie Burnet is one of the most effective and knowledgeable health care practitioners I've encountered in my lifetime. Through her work at Windsong Therapy and Wellness she has revitalized an injury I experienced over a year ago. It's not that she is the best in the world at what she does, it's that she is the only one who can do what she does. She has repeatedly provided the medical knowledge and space to bring my body into alignment, as I am aware she has done for hundreds of people of all ages, physical conditions and all walks of life. Her fascial integrative therapy is likely to assist in the healing process for any condition that you may be experiencing, as the fascia run through the entire body (much like the stringy white strands do inside an orange or grapefruit.) Fascial integrative therapy is unlike any other healthcare I've ever tried, and it has provided miraculous results for me and several of my friends. Frankie Burnet models lifetime learning by continually staying up to date on trends in occupational therapy, and the physical arts as evidenced by her walls of certifications. She has been the recipient of many version of "health care provider of the year" in countless magazines, as well as for local and international organizations for decades. Her ability to listen carefully, and provide the time and space for the body to heal in unparalleled anywhere. In a world where nobody appears to be listening to anyone, she has listened to me and equipped me with the skills to listen to my own mind and body. Her work is focused, yet still offers a sincere kindness that is rare in modern health care. I do consider myself one of the most fortunate humans alive to have found Frankie Burnet. I almost hesitate to recommend her as her schedule is already booked months in advance. Frankie has been a Godsend to our family. I met her six years ago when my infant twins saw her for help breastfeeding due to tongue ties. Two pediatricians and twelve LCs (yes, twelve!!) didn’t diagnose or mention the possibility of ties to me. The brilliant LCs at For Babies Sake called it in under thirty seconds and recommended Frankie right away. Not only did Frankie improve latch, she also totally solved their acid reflux AND corrected the shape my daughter’s head who was moving towards a helmet. Months later, I noticed one kiddo wasn’t using her left side at all. Wouldn’t roll that way, look that way, use that arm of hand, etc. after one visit with Frankie, she was a normal wiggle worm. Later when they were walking, one daughter couldn’t run. She just couldn’t get her legs straightened. One visit at Windsong and she was running the next day! Frankie has helped with emotional issues like tantrums, too. My latest newborn benefited from Frankie immediately because I now know the need babies have for her work. At a year old, she has the most perfect crawl, Beautiful stance and balance, and perfect beginning steps. And when a bout of strabismus was evident in my newborn, fascial integrative therapy played a huge role in resolving the issue. Frankie has helped my husband’s knee from scar tissue on a torn mcl and acl. She cleared adhesions in my uterus from a previous csection. She made sure there were no myofascial restrictions in the uterus so that my baby could move and turn freely during pregnancy (breech mamas, get to Frankie ASAP!), and she has been a part of healing my body from pregnancy and csection. Frankie is a magician! Her knowledge of the body is 2nd to none. She is unbelievably talented at getting things to release and back to working efficiently. I always leave feeling better physically and mentally. The "bad" news is she is one busy woman. It can take a while to get into rotation, but well worth it! Also, it's not unusual for her to get 10-20 minutes behind which I can appreciate since I have been the one a couple of times that has gone over time because my body wasn't finished yet. I have been seeing Frankie Burget at Wind song Therapy for the past 20 years. It is hard to find the right words to describe just how important she has been in my life. It all started about 8 years after a car accident where I was on a constant search for relief. I has 7 broken ribs a collapsed lung a broken pelvis in three places herniated disks separated SI joint, lacerated liver and a neck that never stopped hurting. I came across a newspaper article doing a story about Frankie and Fascial Integrative Therapy. I just knew this was going to be the person to help and boy I was so happy after the first visit when I knew this was the case. I has not had full range of motion in my neck for the last 8 years before going. After our first visit back in 1998 i has been back to about 95% range. It just got better from there. I have never looked back. My life would not be the same without her. Your Doctors can't help and push drugs and surgery on you or physical therapy. Frankie heals you and if she can she manages the pain so you can live a happy productive life. I have referred so many people to here and they all come back with he same thing. I am there angel for referring her and she is their angel for fixing them. If you have any issue I know she can help. You would do a disservice to yourself by not going. My son had a therapy session with Frankie the night before we went out of town on a trip. Today his teacher emailed me this:

"I'm not sure what he did over his trip, but he has come back a different child! He is so talkative! He's loud and asking for things and singing and calling his friends by name! Too sweet!"

Wow!!! Frankie is a God sent amazing miracle worker!!! I had been in pain for at least 10 years, suffering from osteoarthritis in my hips and lower back pain. I had a session with Frankie yesterday. Last night was the first good sleep I have had in years, and my pain is 90% gone!!!! I have another session in two weeks, which I'm expecting to totally eliminate all discomfort. I was looking at having another hip operation soon, but thanks to Frankie, I don't need it anymore. I love fitness, but have been so limited for so long due to my limited range of motion and pain, but as of today, I feel like I am 15 again!! We brought our 10 week old son to Frankie because he had a very traumatic birth. He was caught in the birth canal due to bilateral shoulder dystocia and was revived 25 minutes after birth. Poor guy had to spend 2 weeks in NICU. Even though he was doing much better than anyone anticipated, it was very clear he was still working through some physical trauma because his fascia was very tight. After one session of myofascial release, our sons movements became much more fluid. Not only that, but he smiled and learned to roll over unassisted after his first session, which I don't think is a coincidence. Frankie clearly understands the anatomy of babies. I've have been a patient of Windsong Therapy & Wellness for over 12 years. I have Fibromyalgia w/severe Myofascial pain & Chronic Fatigue Syndrome & before I found out about Frankie, I was in so much pain that I was unable to work. I thought Fibromyalgia pain was caused by the muscles & nerve signals but learned through Frankie that it's the myofascial that runs through our body & causes the pain. I credit regular treatments to helping me to return to work & continue to work until I retired. I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't found Frankie through the DFW Fibromyalgia support group..
