Took my 7yr old son in on a couple of occasions to pick his first instrument for lessons at junior school, and was very impressed with the care and attention they gave him. The new Courtois AC440(straight model) is awsome very open and so responsive in all dynamics a joy to play ,designed on the old Elkhart and with input from Dudley Bright I have tried every bone under the sun and never found any to match the Elkhart 8H I bought from Evan Watkins way back in 1973 I stupidly sold it in the 80's and bought a Bach 16m being inspired when Watrous came to the UK. I am now finally happy to say the Quest for the perfect trombone for me is over at last I really recommend these fantastic trombones & for anyone who is interested I would get over to Hayes music and try one before the prices go up ,Now all I have to do is learn to play the thing better but an instrument of this Quality certainly helps lol More...
