Q&As

I love talking to my clients about their lives the places they have lived, the people they have met, the adventures they have had.

Every day Is different , every bodies circumstances are different and require a great deal of thought to give the appropriate advise.

I never get home and think what a hard day i have had .I know that i have helped someone to plan their families emotional and financial well being after they have gone.

I wanted to offer the level of service I would expect to receive myself not the level a large faceless company wish to give .

I am happy to call at your home to take instructions at anytime convenient to you All work is carried out on a fixed price basis if it takes one hour or four hours the price is the same.
I do not know the answer to every possible set of circumstances but i will come back to you once i have accessed qualified partners who can give an answer swiftly.
I am trustworthy , reliable and above all honest.
I look forward to being of assistance to you.

Services

Do you want to protect your assets if you were to lose mental capacity ?
A Lasting Power of Attorney is commonly known as an LPA . This is a legal document that allows you to state who you would like to make decisions on your behalf, should you be unable to do so in the future.
There are two types of LPA: a Property and Financial Affairs LPA and a Health and Welfare LPA.
If you do not have an LPA in place and you loose the capacity to make decisions your family would need to apply to the Court of Protection to gain control over you and your finances. This is a time-consuming and costly process.
An LPA is not valid until it has been registered at the Office of the Public Guardian.

A Trust is a legal structure which can be included as part of your Will and can offer increased asset protection for your loved ones. These types of Wills are called Trust Wills. We would always recommend that you consider the benefits of setting up a trust as part of your Will.
A Trust is most commonly set up in the following circumstances.
You have a spouse or partner but children from a previous relationship
Protection against your property being forcibly sold to cover care fees
You wish to leave part of your estate to a vulnerable or disables person
It may be advantageous to put assets like a Death in Service benefit or an insurance policy into a trust. This may help with inheritance tax and any liabilities arising from a family member being divorced or declared bankrupt.

In England and Wales, Probate is the term used to describe the legal and financial process involved in dealing with the property, money and possessions of a person who has died.
