I am not in the habit of doling out my compliments to businesses readily, so for me to offer a definite 'bouquet' is a clear indication of excellent, all-round performance - so definitely well-earned. In the past 18 months I have bought an apartment in Easingwold. It was advertised with two Easingwold-based Estate Agents: I was previously registered with the other ...who didn't even bother to let me know that this property was available ...despite my having known the local Branch manager for most of ten years. I therefore bought my new home via Williamsons ...and everything went very smoothly.Having moved from my former family home in Haxby' York, then once emptied - which proved to be a major task - then various marketing options were considered, including online (only), and multi-agency, which saw me negotiate with the Haxby representative of the first-mentioned company above: he wanted 2% for sole agency, or 2.5% if multi-agency. Ouch!Willamsons standard offer is 0.75% which is a cost-effective proposition. On a property valued comfortably in excess of £400K, then the decision to go with Willamsons was not complicated!Finally, close friends relocating from the Home Counties North, back to North Yorkshire in their retirement were introduced to the Williamsons team ...and recently completed their purchase, which is just five minutes drive from central Easingwold.The cumulative value of these three transactions comfortably exceeds £1.2 million and all this was achieved with no hassle ...and all the help & friendly co-operation which could reasonably be expected from Mark Williamson's team of Spencer Martin & Lynne Naylor.The quality of communication throughout was excellent.
