I have known Dr. William Thorbecke for over 30 years, starting when I was clinical director of the Austin Child Guidance Center in Austin Texas.  I have known him as a student I supervised, a co-therapist, and a colleague.  He was one of our best students with an ability to work very well with a wide variety of child, adolescent,  and family issues.  He has continued to train himself in a wide variety of specialty topics and adjusts his approach very ably to the needs of his clients.
