Came here after we went to do the Escape Room of Arlington next door. If you escape the room successfully, you get a free appetizer or $10 off your meal. We sort of stumbled upon this place by accident, and we could not have been happier! Our server, Kendra, was amazing and provided excellent recommendations - both for food and beverages. Came here because we saw people eating outside and it looked like brunch.  Walked in they gave us the menu for brunch, but it had just ended.  I must say though their brunch selection looked delicious...might have to go try it out.  Anyway, we had went next door to the escape room and told us that they would give us a free appetizer if we showed them our receipt.  We went in and the place looked nice.  We did see where the brunch area was set up and looked like a good selection.  We got the nachos as the free appetizer, which you could pick any dessert for free on the menu which was nice.  They nachos were a good pertain and had good flavor.  The food was tasty and the amount of food for price was good.  The burgers we had were big.  Could not really complain about anything.  The onions rings are huge and think but tasty.  I did like there was an option to create your own burger because they didn't have many options on their menu and I like different stuff so that was a plus for me. Had a possible 10-15 person group(revolving) ... no reservations. Not only did they accommodate, they provided the perfect seating location and nailed every drink and food order to perfection. The food was delicious and server/service was outstanding. If you're reading this, please go try this place out! You won't regret it. The atmosphere was so mellow, and there was really great live music toward the end of our meal. The food was seriously SO GOOD. They've taken traditional American food have elevated it into something better. People I went with ordered drinks and loved them. William Jeffrey's took me to drink heaven recently. I came here on a Sunday night and it was empty which was nice, staff were readily available and extremely helpful. I got this watermelon drink on their cocktail menu at the urging of my SO and though I loathe watermelon, this was delicious. The server who helped us out told me that this was one of their most popular drinks and I can see why. It was literally summer in a glass, I felt like even though I was downing alcohol that I was actually hydrating myself with a cool refreshing water...wildly inaccurate especially since after my third one I was fully drunk, but dang that was good. I've been to this tavern in the past since it's literally walking distance from my home. This particular day I came in to order lunch. I got their new bowl- ancient grain which has quinoa, brown rice, avocado, tomatoes, chickpeas, olives and eggs. It's actually really good and I would definitely order this again however, I think they should swap out the olives (salty) and maybe add edamame, sweet potato or broccoli- something much healthier than olives. We love the tavern, it's conveniently located next to our apartment so we find ourselves here regularly. The staff is super friendly and the food is tasty. It has a sports bar atmosphere so it can be pretty loud on game nights. The Sunday brunch bar is amazing. A little pricy for breakfast but it is all you can eat and the waffles are totally worth it.  I do wish they would put the waffles on the regular menu. I would eat them every day! More...

This restaurant is right on Columbia pike and is surrounded by a ton of other fantastic restaurants that I cant wait to try. It's a charming bar/restaurant with helpful wait staff and pretty good food. Since it was a hot summer day, I decided to try the watermelon and goat cheese salad. Since I love yucca, I ordered the yucca to serve as my carb. Both were fantastic choices! The yucca was perfectly fried and very filling and the salad had really good flavors between the goat cheese, candies walnuts, and watermelon. It was the perfect salad to cool down and not too heavy.
