How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Most garages that are attached to the house I’ll suitable for conversion to either accommodation space, or an office/utility room.
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
Ideally plans would need to be drawn up prior to any works being carried out.
Depending on what the property is going to be useful, building control may need to be notified prior to commencement.
A meeting with the client would be required to discuss any special requirements i.e. plumbing/electrical.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the day-to-day change from the norm. Meeting new people and seeing the smile on their face when they have a job well done.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After previously working for larger companies I could never determine my own destiny. Working for myself helps me With family commitments, and also lets me get stuck into things which don’t normally come up.
