Q&As

Let's remember one thing - a website is a marketing tool. Many lose sight of this and embark on a vanity project the ancient Greeks would be proud of when constructing the Colossus of Rhodes.

Yes, a website needs to be credible and appealing. Yes, the design is an essential element of this, but first and foremost does it allow your business to collect leads, or inform your customers?

UI (User Interface) and UX (User Experience) is what all good websites are built on. Make it appealing, create trust and allow customers to do business with you.

What is your incentive for customers to choose?
Where is your business current focussing on; acquisition, conversion or retention of customers?
What are the personas you are targetting?
What are the USP's of your business?
What would you deem a successful campaign?
What has and has not worked in the past?
Who are your peers that you admire and why?

Psychology, data and a challenge!

Psychology - Marketing is all psychology and I (James the founder) has a huge curiosity to what makes people tick. This cascades itself down into the culture of the business and helps us succeed for our clients.
Data - Digital marketing offers so much data that it has never been easier to analyse the data to make informed decisions. We are very data focussed and it shows in our work.
Challenge - every single marketing campaign is a challenge. Every single one is hard because we are trying to influence people. I don't care how good or experienced anyone else - if they tell you it is easy they are lying! There is no room for complacency and just because something has worked for one client in the past, is no guarantee it will work for another. Each campaign is unique and we are challenged to find the individual reasons to succeed for every client. This challenge, albeit demanding, is exciting. When you feel you have earned success, it tastes so much sweeter!

Where do I start! I worked in the City for a company called BlackRock for 10 years. It was a strict corporate environment and taught me a lot. However, it never felt totally right. It was probably summed up when in my final year-end appraisal before I decided to go it on my own, my boss declared "James, we love what you are doing, and we are promoting you to VP this year, however, you are not much of a conformist". I had all the skills to succeed, but it wasn't enough for me. The environment moved too slowly and never satisfied my insatiable entrepreneurial spark. I also felt it never allowed my leadership traits to be fully utilised. The freedom, creativity and opportunity to fully benefit from the success derived from my own action has proved this to be the right decision.

I hate this question - because I like to let the actions do the talking. What I would say, is that we will do everything in our power and lean on all the experience, talents and ambition to make the marketing work. There are no guarantees and I refuse to make any. But, we have a culture where we problem solve and adapt until we find a way to succeed. We have a chip on our shoulder which means we are driven not to fail.

Everyone involved in Wilde Time Marketing is good people and dedicated to giving the best.

We will go above and beyond for you.
