I came to Kaisa initially with an acute foot issue which threatened to derail a planned month-long cycling trip in the UK.
She spent the time to listen, question and understand the issues, developed a plan for treatment and, just four weeks later, had me good to go in time for my vacation!
I now visit for management of a longer term neck/shoulder issue which I’d almost given up on resolving, though can finally see hope for as we achieve improvements with each treatment. An unexpected benefit of requiring Kaisa’s healing skill is that I’ve finally learnt how & why acupuncture can be considered meditative and always leave feeling profoundly relaxed.
It is clear Kaisa is dedicated to her profession and has demonstrated a level of interest and care for me that I haven’t experienced elsewhere within the healthcare system.

I first came to Wild Rose Eastern Medicine after experiencing knee pain related to a bicycle accident. Kaisa is really friendly, she addressed my concerns and came up with an individualized treatment plan. After 4 acupuncture treatments my knee had substantially improved and I was able to return to my regular physical activities. It was affordable and she also worked around my irregular work schedule.  I have since been back for shoulder pain treatment, which I also got awesome and quick results with. What do you love most about your job?
I love helping people through all stages of their wellness journey. True health is not achieved once and for all, it is a daily practice and I love to help people find the right tools for their own self care rituals. However, sometimes we need some help outside of own our self care to get back to a place of good health and balance and I love being a source of help and support for that part of the process too!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I knew from a young age that I wanted a certain level of autonomy in my career. In fact, I remember the exact moment; I was a foreign exchange student and went to Costa Rica for a year in high school (a big leap from Alaska). I was sitting on a remote beach and thinking about life and my future, I knew then that I wanted to be my boss and in some capacity help those in my community and around the world.
