I went to my cousin daughters graduation party and this food truck was there with amazing foods. You can pick from pork chicken or kale and have it on a bun tortillas flatbread or nachos. Solid Q from solid dudes. I highly recommend the jerk BBQ sauce if you're looking for something a little different. The flavor of that sauce leaves me wanting more every time, but everything they have is great.

I was actually planning on ordering from a different b.b.q. food truck, but that truck only had pork and chicken. Seeing as my heart was set on brisket, Wicked Hickory came to my rescue. Ordering system really allows for order customization. Start with type of meat, or grilled kale. Next choose type of bread. Options include bun, pita, flour tortillas, nachos, or bowl. Then choose type of slaw. We ordered brisket tacos, with island slaw. There was far less brisket in the tacos than as I was expecting. Still, the meat was good. It was not too smokey, and fairly tender. Island slaw is a mayonnaise based slaw. The pineapple added a sweetness, the cabbage added a bit of crunch, and the jalapenos added some spice. I liked that the jalapenos were fresh. Several b.b.q sauces were available for customers to top off their orders. My oldest son tried the brown sugar b.b.q. sauce. He enjoyed the whole combination. I tried their special "one off" b.b.q. sauce made with mango and curry. Lots of flavors in my taco. The combinations may have had it qualifying more as a fusion taco. The Wicked Hickory food truck has been serving up smoked meats for at least a couple of years. Their menu is unique in the way that their meats (pork, brisket, and chicken) are served. Once you settle on your meat you pick the style from the choice of bun, tacos, pita, BBQ bowl, or nachos. And then you pick the toppings with choices like southern slaw, picnic slaw, island slaw, wicked style, or Texas style.I ordered the pork BBQ bowl style ($9), which means the pork was served over red beans and rice. I also picked island slaw for the topping, which combines pineapple, jalapenos, cabbage, and cilantro. This was really good and even with all of the toppings I could still taste a bit of a nice smoky flavor in the pork. The beans, rice, and pineapple all worked really well together.I also ordered the chicken tacos for my wife ($9 for 2). This was ordered topped with southern slaw that featured cider vinegar, cabbage, and carrot. This was also a solid choice, but overall I preferred the pork to the chicken. Smoked chicken tends to be a little dryer, so the wet cider vinegar was a good topping to compliment and the flavors combined well. This one needed a little extra sauce to truly bring it all together.Wicked Hickory has solid smoked meats, which are essential for any BBQ spot.
