I was super happy with my time spent on the grass courts at Coolhurst. I took a flight from the U.S. and spent my birthday in London. I've been a tennis member of Coolhurst for 8 or 9 years and continue to be a member even though I moved away from Crouch End. The courts situation has much improved since the installation of the amazing artificial clay courts. I've found everyone very friendly and welcoming, especially Sarah who manages the club and Ray who manages the facilities and the great bar. I especially enjoy playing in one of the men's teams which is very socialable, the drills on Saturday mornings with coach Craig, and the very well organised and competitive ladder. Looking forward to the coming improvements to the the astro court floodlights and all weather courts instead of the grass to give us even more room to play. Keep up the good work guys! More...

I have had several sessions with Steve for squash and gym training. I highly recommend him. He is professional, knowledgeable, attentive and very personable. In the short time we have had I have already noticed marked improvement in my squash technical and strategic play. Lovely old school English club with friendly atmosphere, good courts, some excellent teachers. Good for children unlike the Cumberland in Hampstead which has become very stuffy and inaccessible. Excellent club - our boys age 6 and 9 have lessons in holidays and Saturdays. the organiser of the classes is very helpful and efficient at replying to enquiries (called Anthony)
