Train rides and general great ambience of the site . .
Quite a bit of steam train memorabilia, and a good cafe for tea & cake. Only about a mile away from the pleasant town of Reepham, on a quiet backroad, it is a pleasant stopping point, on a 'ride out', as they would say in Norfolk!
Great choice of gins and fever tree tonics reasonably priced

Took the kids to see Santa back here again after trying a couple of others. Quite different from previous years, less about the train journey and more time spent with Santa as he chatted to the kids, asking them all the usual questions. All his elves were kind and helpful, and occasionally mischievous! Presents were good quality as always and the mulled wine and mince pies are always welcome. More...
Really Great place to visit on a ride asking Marriott's Way. Friendly, welcoming and really good cake.
It's good for a visit
An excelant place, a little bit of Norfolk and rail history hidden away. Very helpful staff, good parking. Its like going back in time for a short while. Well worth a visit.
We were there for the Reepham 10k cross country event. They are very welcoming with great facilities and many things for all ages to do with exhibits, trains and rural walks
lovely for walks, you can go for miles and miles , also lovey old station with a good restaurant for snacks or larger meals, if your lucky you go have a ride on a steam engine, close to reepham, we like it because we only live 10 minutes away. worth a look

Kayleigh Louise Ward
what an amazing evening on the Santa train, kids had a wonderful time and once again all staff delivered a fantastic Santa scene. xx
I took my 7 & 5 year olds on the Santa train this evening and what a lovely time they had. The staff were all lovely, from my phone call to enquire about booking at late notice this morning throughout the whole event. Lesley called me back almost immediately, after I spoke to a lovely volunteer and she was very friendly and helpful, she even asked about the children's interests to ensure an appropriate gift was given. On arrival we were greeted by friendly elves and a snowman with mulled wine, biscuits and mince pies, there were elves who really made an effort to chat to the children whilst waiting and they made the train ride fun too. Santa was great and chatted to the children for a long time, asking them individual questions and telling stories before giving them their gifts which my boys were very happy with as were the other children around us. An all round lovely experience, thank you to everyone involved and Merry Christmas More...
Had a trip on the gin train last night had a great time x

Really good evening for the bike meet. Some awesome bikes like this one
Had an amazing experience. All staff very friendly and helpful. The train ride was brilliant. This would be a great family day out, so much to see and do. Food and drinks were delicious.
Lovely place. The campsite is basic and quiet, which is great! Going to the toilets at night can be super creepy though, as you have to walk down to the station. The toilets are well maintained. During the day there is a bar and cafe, serving drinks and food. The staff are really nice. They hold lots of events here and the venue seems popular for parties of all sorts. It can be nice seeing the trains in action, or just admiring all the old trains around the station. I often stay here as a halfway point when walking The Marriott's Way from Norwich to Aylsham. It's not far to Reepham, where there's a shop, pubs and restaraunts. There's lot's of nice walking to do in this area. A great place to stay or visit. More...
